We’ll love your pup(s)! 🐶❤️
We’re dog lovers (currently without our own furball) and would love to care for yours. Our pet parent history: Over 18 years, we've raised puppies (black Lab and Boxer mix) and then a cool cat found us, making a party of 5. Post-trio, we rescued a middle-aged Boxer who was sweet on humans but not so much with other dogs and spent several years walking on the wild side with her before she became street-settled. We've been dog park regulars and hosted furritos of friends for slumber parties and were short-term vacation fosters. We've gently nursed our dogs through neuropathy, lung cancer, and Cushing's disease. We found great people to care for our girls on Rover and want to do the same for you! We miss being dog parents dearly and will care for your pets as if they were our own. If you happen to have dog & cat siblings, they are welcome, too!

There are some great dog sitters, and some of them also happen to be genuinely great people. That’s how we feel about Katie and Jason. Not only did they love our dog Archie and care for him like he was their own, they kept this nervous dog mama leaving her pup for the first time informed, reassured, and entertained with the frequent updates, photos and videos sharing all the fun and love Archie was having. We cannot thank Katie and Jason enough for not only being excellent caregivers, but also being exceptional humans. They are DEFINITELY our go-to from now on for any future trips we have to take without our Archie!
Katie and Jason are wonderful with Abby, our senior pup. They give her such love and attention and keep her safe and healthy. It’s such a weight off my shoulders to know that she’s with such caring people. We love getting the videos and pictures multiple times a day. Thank you so so much for another perfect stay. ❤️
Katie and Jason welcomed our sweet pittie Archie for daycare so we could give Archie the chance to get to know them some before they watch him overnight later this month. Archie came home relaxed and happy! We also received so many beautiful pictures and a video showing his time with Jason and Katie, which calmed this nervous mom’s anxiety about leaving Archie with anyone else. We’re so happy and relieved we found Katie and Jason, they are legitimate dog people! ♥️
Kathryn and Jon were amazing at the meet and greet and in taking care of our Akali. They were very understanding with her and asked many great questions towards her care to which I didn't think of or remembered to mention about. They sent many pictures with her updates and Akali came back super happy! Will definitely ask for them again next time!
Kathryn and Jason were incredible sitters! They were able to accommodate our last minute request and followed our care instructions wonderfully. They took the time to get to know our dog and his needs prior to sitting. Our fur baby received all the attention and love he needed and more. I received updates with pictures throughout the day. I would definitely use their services again.
You won’t find better dog care than Katie and Jason! Attentive, caring and loving- they went above and beyond with walks, playtime and snuggles. Benji had a wonderful time staycationing with them! Super great communication before and during stay, too! Our pooches will be back. Can’t recommend more highly. 🩷

Schedule
It’s summer break for one of us and the other is self-employed, so we have tons of time to dedicate to your furrito! We prefer not to leave your pup unattended — generally one of us will be with your doggo at all times.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog(s) will have access to all parts of our non-smoking home, sofa and beds included! Our dogs were free range, we do not have a crate. We are happy to use yours, please bring if needed. We’ll schedule a meet & greet ahead of time to make sure that you’ll both feel comfortable with us while apart and that your dog is a good match for us. Our home is 2 stories (wood floors downstairs, carpeted stairs & upstairs) with a front yard and small back patio area. We're in a safe neighborhood where we'll take daily walks.
A typical day
Walks are plentiful and at any frequency or pace your pet needs. Neither of us is a runner, brisk walking is our top speed. With your permission, fun activities include car rides, squirrel watching, and ball chasing. Toys? Yes! Tug-o-war? Sure! If your furkiddo is dog park-friendly, we're happy to take them. Plenty of pets and belly rubs around the clock. Photos and/or videos sent daily! We follow your lead on treats, and are always prepared to pay the cheese tax.
