Safety, trust & environment
My main goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe at all times. I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine and environment, ensuring they aren’t doing anything out of the ordinary while in my care. My priority is to provide calm, consistent care so your pet feels at ease.
Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet
I like to learn about your pet’s daily routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and any behaviors I should be aware of. For dogs, it’s helpful to know how they interact with other dogs and if they have any reactive tendencies, as I do have experience handling reactive dogs. For cats, I appreciate knowing their comfort level with people, handling, and changes to their environment. I also ask that you let me know ahead of time about any food allergies, dietary needs, medications, or special care instructions so I can provide the best possible care.
A typical day
I love teaching dogs new tricks! I find it very beneficial to teach them new things so their brains are stimulated. I’ve taught my own dog sit, lay down, shake (with both paws), play dead, speak, spin and rollover and I would love to teach your dog new tricks too!

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Rachel! I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs and have always loved caring for animals of all kinds. I’ve had experience with pets ranging from tiny Yorkshire terriers to large Great Danes, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I also have cats of my own, which has given me hands-on experience with feline care, behavior, and routines. I understand that cats need patience, gentle handling, and a calm environment, and I take pride in making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’d love to set up a meet-and-greet so you can get to know me and feel confident trusting me with your dog or cat. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! :)
Reviews
Rachel has extensive experience caring for pets, is highly responsive, and always makes sure everything is clean and tidy before she leaves. It has been a pleasure working with her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Rachel was very communicative and sent us detailed information and lots of pictures. This was our first time having Rachel as our pet sitter. She did a great job taking care of them. We came home to very happy and healthy cats.

Super kind, helpful and considerate!
Rachel provided complete peace of mind and did an awesome job taking care of the kitties. When I got home after a week away, they acted like I hadn’t left! Thanks Rachel!
