From the regular updates we got, I can tell that she was giving so much care and attention to Willow, and that Willow loved hanging out with her as well! About: My family and I have a love for animals. We have gone through many different species of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and birds. Apart from my family, I’ve helped house-sit and cared for my friend’s dog for a few years now whenever she’s away. During that time, I’ve handled daily walks, feeding, and making sure the dog feels safe and comfortable at home. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and extra availability to care for and walk dogs. I’m able to provide consistent attention and accommodate different walking times throughout the week. I like to follow their normal routine to keep them comfortable. I make sure they are fed on time, get regular walks, have fresh water, and receive plenty of attention and playtime.
“Our dog was really happy during his stay and Edward seemed equally happy to spend time caring for him. Edward was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and provided many photos of their adventures.”

When we were talking about my dog, I was able to know how carefully and thoughtfully they cared my dog. I feel my dog was so comfortable and happy while he was staying in their place. (Also good memory for him) It was my first time, but I'm sure it was good experince for my family. Thank you again to lovely people🧡”

“Luna's second visit with Di was great! She was relaxed and comfortable during her stay. Di communicated with us several times a day, sharing photos and videos of Luna. I highly recommend”

“Annie was amazing!! My normally timid cat warmed up to her very quickly and she got some playtime which I didn't expect at all! Annie was very friendly when I met her and quick to respond to my messages, and gave me thorough updates and lots of photos after each drop in visit. I really appreciated the love and attention Annie was able to give my cat while I was gone! Thank you!!”

“Yiheng is really nice and we asked her help multiple times when we’re out of town. She is really thorough and made sure both our cats get some play time and in good mood. 5/5! Our kitties really enjoying staying with you~”

About: Evie: I have experience caring for both kittens and cats with health conditions who need extra attention and gentle care. I understand that cats can be sensitive to new environments, so I always approach them calmly and patiently. I also volunteered in Korea with cat rescue and adoption efforts, where I helped care for rescued cats and supported their transition into loving homes. These experiences have taught me how to provide attentive and compassionate care while creating a safe and comfortable environment for every cat. I’m always happy to send regular updates, photos, or videos so owners can feel reassured and connected with their pets while they are away.
“Yuemin is a great cat sitter! She watched our two cats and they loved her. They have somewhat specific feeding instructions and she followed them very well. We received lots of photos and videos of the cats while we were away and I felt that they were in good hands. When we got back our cats were very happy- we would definitely have Yuemin cat sit for us again.”

“This was my first time booking with Natalie and she was a pleasure to work with! She followed our care instructions thoroughly. She was made aware of our cats different eating habits and Natalie was persistent in making sure that their individual needs were taken care of. She went beyond to tidy our cats play area and left the place in a better condition than when she first arrived. Our cats felt comfortable around her and she was able to provide a lot of play time for our cats and even stayed longer than she needed to because she enjoyed playing with the cats so much. Natalie truly loves cats and was very caring towards them while we were away. We look forward to having her as our pet sitter in the future!”

“Took care of my little furball and kept my place nice and tidy! I got timely pictures and the little goof was checked-in with at a timely manner. Definitely will book again if an opportunity presents itself!”

“Yiqing was so great taking care of my cat while we were away. She was patient and detail oriented. She was very responsive in communication and willing to go extra mile with cleaning up the mess. She kindly came back to visit twice in a day when there was a glitch unlocking the door. I would recommend Yiqing and rebook her whenever possible.”

“Rachel is great - we’ve used her a few times and she’s always prompt, responsive, and makes sure to play with our kitties in addition to feeding them l. Definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve lived with and have taken care of cats for the last 5 years, and my love for these precious rascals grows with each one that I meet. Currently, I don't have any fur babies of my own and this is the longest I've lived without one in my life, so I’m hoping that caring for yours will help tide me over until I'm able to get one of my own! I have experience working with quiet and shy cats, and also with the more rambunctious and independent types. I have a lot of love and attention I’d love to shower your favorite family member with, and I also have a lot of patience and persistence for those who need a more determined approach. I’ve lived in a few different countries and within the US I’ve lived in Boston, Washington D.C., Florida, and now the Bay Area! I speak English and Hindi fluently, and am conversant in Spanish, French, and Arabic. I’m happy to learn how to say commands and sweet nothings in any language that your fur baby prefers. I have a BA in Biological Anthropology from Boston University and a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work in health care - but this just means my schedule is that much more open and flexible. I look forward to loving and caring for your cat while their favorite person is away.

“Jennifer was fantastic with our cat, Pickles. She met us at the house a week in advance. Pickles was immediately comfortable with her, which is atypical. Jennifer has a calm demeanor and knows exactly how to approach a cat who is typically protective of her surroundings. She spent 30/min per day for 4 days, and Pickles was happy to see Jennifer and meowed at the door when she left. Thank you!”

About: Im 22 years old, I have done pet sitting for 3 years on Rover and privately. I have a reliable vehicle and valid DL. I have worked in a vet hospital, am experienced with giving medication, handling animals, reading body language, and know CPR.

“Rong was super sweet and really attentive with Stella. Stella usually takes a while to warm up to people, but she seemed very comfortable with Rong right away. Rong also paid attention to the little things around the apartment and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. Would definitely book with her again.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for all kinds of pets since I was a kid—cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, and more. Being around animals feels natural to me, and I’m very attentive to their different personalities and needs. This experience makes me especially patient with senior pets and gentle with puppies, and I always aim to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work fully remote, so during weekdays I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and can easily adjust my time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. This flexibility allows me to give pets consistent attention rather than rushing visits, and to adapt to each pet’s routine and needs. I provide attentive, personalized care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in yours. My home offers a calm, clean environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised play and potty breaks. I have a friendly Shiba Inu, and I’m always careful with slow, respectful introductions to ensure everyone is a good fit. I also care for turtles, a crested gecko, and fish at home, so I understand how important a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment is for all pets. In a client’s home, I follow routines closely and keep pets comfortable in their familiar space, with regular updates for peace of mind.

“Jenisa and her family were outstanding pet sitters for our senior Pug. We received regular updates, and it was clear Gus felt safe and like a part of their household. Jenisa is incredibly kind and thoughtful - I recommend her without reservation.”

About: I have raised my own dog (excluding my families dog) for the past 8 years and have raised puppies for friends in the past. I raised my friends puppy for two years while they left the country . I am also very flexible with my work schedule which allows me to take dogs out consistently if needed. I am fully remote and my job allows me to take breaks whenever needed. I am consistently off at 3 pm and from there I have no other obligations, making pet care my main priority. I usually walk my dog multiple times a day because of how close I am to my local dog park. I have a 15 pound chihuahua that is allowed to use all pieces of our furniture. Any other dog that stays with us will be treated the same. We have a heater when it gets cold as well as multiple blankets that are specifically for pets. We live in an apartment that has a lot of grass fields to walk around.
About: I have years of experience with animals from fostering, pet sitting, and owning my own pets! I also have done years of volunteering in different shelters. My experience goes far beyond cats and dogs extending to reptiles, birds, small animals you name it. I can handle animals of all temperaments and quirky personalities and have experience with shy and anxious pets. I have a lot of experience with both senior pets and puppies/kittens! I also know CPR, can administer injections, and first aid 😁 CURRENTLY NOT ATTENDING SCHOOL I WILL RETURN TO SCHOOL AUGUST 2026 ‼️ I am currently a student with a very flexible schedule and attend classes from 8:30am-1pm! If I am in school someone is always home with your pets as I live with my family and they help me out a lot 😊 My routine really depends on owners instructions but I will adjust if I need to make it compatible to my lifestyle such as feeding and bathroom times :)
About: We became dog owner when a 8 weeks gold golden retriever joined our lives, and we quickly learned how to become a responsible dog parents. After her passing in 2021, we realized life is too short to live without a furry family member. So we brought a golden doodle puppy, Kuli, to join our lives. We are looking to help and support other 4 legs friends. Because we are either take care of all pups together or rotate, we never left them alone without human monitoring for even a single minute to make sure they are safe and have company. We currently take Kuli out for walk 3-4 times a day (weather permitted), and includes a fetching session for 30-60 min in the late afternoon. We also have web cam in our home. We provide organic carrot, sweet potato, or fruits for snacks. We have a fenced backyard, and we were dog parents for more than 10 years now. We had been to dog training classes, and know how to handle dogs in the park, hikes, and other social situation. We know that dogs need enough exercise, not just walking.
“Toffee was cared extremely well by Yiteng and his wife during the full-day daycare period. This is the first time our dog Toffee went to a completely new place and be cared by a "total stranger", which made Toffee super stressed and hard to do her routine normally. But thanks to the loving cares Toffee received, Yiteng's wife made Toffee feeling like at home and getting comfortable in the new place very quickly. We received many update messages and videos/pictures during the day to see how Toffee was doing and also knowing that Toffee got full attention from the sitter. Another factor we liked the service the most is the nice outdoor environment where Toffee could walk around and do her potty break, which was similar to Toffee's regular routine that she used to while at home. This made it so much easier for Toffee to get acclimated quickly. We required specific feeding routine for Toffee starting with the soft food we made (need to be refrigerated) followed by the hard food. Yiteng's wife is so accommodating on all of our requests, never say NO to any of our suggestions. I am truly grateful for the super loving care Toffee got and I strongly recommend the service from Yiteng's family. I am definitely planning to book this service again.”

“Ivy and Zach were so great with my frenchie, Bentley! I needed a day sitter at the last minute and they were highly responsive, very accommodating to my schedule, and took Bentley out multiple times that day. Would definitely book them again.”

“Highly recommend! Michael, his wife, and their pup Kirby are warm and welcoming. Little Bear struggles with separation anxiety and fortunately, he adjusted quickly to their home. Likely because of the good vibes, chill environment, sweet pet parents and a level of understanding and flexibility that is much appreciated. Huge yard and conveniently located. Great sitter!!”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
“Andy was so great with my enormous, energetic puppy! Took him on lots of walks, sent lots of pictures, and Beau was really excited to come back the next day and tired out when I picked him up. Thank you so much Andy!”

“Courtney is an amazing sitter. My dachshund Penny can be a bit shy at first but immediately warmed up to Courtney and her pups. She had the best first visit, was tired out and on second visit was crying to go inside right when we pulled up! Thank you Courtney for taking such good care of my Penny and treating her like your own!”

“Turns out our dogs were not a good fit but Zicheng did an amazing job at keeping them safe. Our dog got more comfortable during the stay. I got lots of updates, pictures and videos of Mochi which made me felt more at eased during our family outing. Definitely recommend Zicheng to anyone looking for doggie day care!”

“Very clean home and our pup seemed like he really enjoyed his stay with Hui! She sent photos throughout the day and was very attentive. I appreciate her understanding and care with puppy. I hope she can watch Harvey in the future!”

“Anna and Conrad took great care of Teddy for the day and was able to accommodate our last minute request for booking and changes. Our guy is a little shy around other dogs so they were extra patient and caring to ensure he was okay and even allowed us to meet before our daycare so the dogs can get exposure. We also have a special diet and due to a recent illness and they were able to continue with our feeding instructions (even letting us know how much he consumed in the meal). I would be more than happy to drop off our dog for another session with them. Thank you Anna, Conrad, Mochi, and Olive!”

“Zhenting and her family are so friendly and caring. Today was the first day I sent my dogs to daycare and I was very nervous about it but they had a good time with Zhenting! She sends me pictures and messages frequently throughout the day. Very mindful and lovely family!”

About: Since I was 7 years old, I grew up with dogs and they have become my very best friends. About seven years ago, our senior dog, Biggie, guided me to Rover. He loved to meet new friends. After 18 amazing and beautiful years together, Biggie knew it was his time to say good-bye and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. His legacy of looking at the world through love has taught me many great lessons! Same goes for all the Dogs I've crossed paths with! Nothing can immediately uplift my spirits like a dog. The connections and the special bonds that I made with my Rover dog buddies over the years have been one of the most amazing experiences. *I understand 1000% about the feeling of leaving your dog when you have to go away or when he/she is home alone for long periods of time. Trust me that I've been through it too and it was never easy for me. That is why I want you to feel at ease and confident that you can put your trust in me. Drop-in & dog walking: Please reach out to me regarding dates so I can share my schedule for that time. Boarding:Your doggy will never be left alone when staying with us. Either me or my husband will be home if one of us has to go out. Or, if your dog enjoys car rides he/she is welcome to join depending on where we are going and factoring weather conditions. I am very open minded, communicative, honest, trustworthy, and head over heels for animals. You will receive pictures and updates everyday during your dog's stay. I also have a lot of experience and knowledge caring for senior dogs, dogs w/ special needs, and puppies. I promise when your pup is in my care, there will be nothing but undivided attention and unconditional love & respect. I will follow the owner’s instructions- walk, feed, what doggy likes to play with and what to be extra careful of, where they like to be pet, any particular fears, what makes them happy. 💕 (Boarding/Daycare) My priority when caring for your fur baby is creating a safe, comfortable, and happy space for everyone who walks through my door. My home is love and happiness…and clean! We have a beautiful, safe and private enclosed backyard for sunbathing. Our new neighborhood is open, clean, grassy, and safe when walking dogs! We also love when dogs sleep on our bed and they are always welcome on furniture. If you prefer they sleep in a crate, or separate, that’s fine too. If more than one dog is scheduled to be in my home, I take every precaution to ensure the personalities of each dog is a good fit before confirming the booking. It is an awesome experience witnessing our puppy guests making unexpected friends and connections during their stay.

During our meet-and-greet or trial walk, I take the time to learn both your preferences and your dog’s needs. Whether it’s park walks or neighborhood strolls, potty breaks or specific feeding routines, I’m comfortable accommodating them. Respecting your dog’s space and your home environment, I keep everything clean and leave your space as I found it. I work from home and have flexible weekday availability from 9am to 4pm. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and daytime care with consistency and attention. I’m happy to work with your schedule when possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow each dog’s routine, use secure handling during walks and visits, and stay attentive to their needs. I treat your home with care and provide regular updates so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands.

“Evie watched our dog Willow for a little over a week while we were on vacation. From the regular updates we got, I can tell that she was giving so much care and attention to Willow, and that Willow loved hanging out with her as well! We really appreciate the peace of mind especially as this is the longest we’ve left our dog with a sitter on rover. We would definitely use her services again.”

“It's the first time our boy boarding from home for long period of time. Zicheng made it a lot easier than it could be, following all of our directions carefully, and giving constant updates with photo. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you.”

“Kathryn and Jason were amazing pet sitters for our labradoodle while we were away! Great communications, easy to schedule drop off/ pick up, and most importantly they were very caring for our pup. She clearly had a great time with them. We will definitely book with them again!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“AMAZING!!!! Thank you Jessica and Alex for the exceptional love and care you provided Kouna. I appreciate the frequent updates and photos throughout the day. It was evident that Kouna enjoyed being with you. Your photos of the food and medication are unprecedented. As my husband said, you gave Kouna the "Four Seasons" experience. Kouna can't wait to come back to your lovely home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“Jennifer took such great care of Molly during her boarding stay. Molly has allergies that cause eye discharge, and Jennifer made sure to clean her eyes every day. A lot of boarders overlook that extra care, so I really appreciated it. Molly’s eyes looked so clean and well cared for when I picked her up. Jennifer also kept me updated throughout the weekend with pictures and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. She was very accommodating and understanding when my flight was delayed as well. I would absolutely use Jennifer again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and attentive to watch their dog.”

“Andy took excellent care of our 10 year old Weimaraner over a long holiday break. She had lots of exercise and healthy treats (he verified if it was okay to give them to her first). Andy sent photos and videos of her often. We were very happy with her stay with him and Milo!”

“Surya was awesome from our initial request, through our first meetup, to sharing wonderful photos to show us our boy had completely settled in (even on his first "sleep away"). So grateful for the recommendation from a friend who was a previous client on Rover. Highly recommend!”

“Kristine took great care of Tilly! I loved receiving so many pictures and updates through the stay! I always like my pup was safe and secure for her first stay here. Would definitely have Tilly stay with Kristine again :)”

“Chiara is a gem of a dog sitter for my super senior Mighty Mouse. He had an update on his feeding routine and she was on top of it. She was very patient with him and his needs and kept me updated the whole stay. She provided peace of mind knowing that he was in her kind hands!”
“Communicative and I really enjoyed seeing pictures of our pup during her stay! Stella I'm sure enjoyed all the play time and walks~ Thank you! Would love for her to stay again!”

“We would give Cheng and Andree 10 stars if we could! Our dog had a wonderful stay with them and was well taken care of. They went above and beyond to take care of our Luna while we were away. And also gave us many tips and resources to use going forward.”

“Kiara and her family took great care of our 8 year old labradoodle for little over a week. Our puppy has some medical needs and we were very comfortable that he was well taken care of. Thank you Kiara”

“Kekw had a great time with Jifu. He really enjoyed playing with their dog Joki and was comfortable enough to relax and eat most of his food. One thing I was especially happy with was that Kekw came home quite clean!! Usually Kekw will get really dirty with boarders so I'm really happy about this.”
