“We’ve used Austin several times and we couldn’t be happier having him stay in our home and care for our dog. He is responsible and caring! Our lab loves Austin and is always sad to see him go!”

“I lucked out finding Ian on Rover. This was my first time leaving my dog overnight with someone I didn’t know and, from the very beginning, Ian made me feel at ease. They stayed at my home and took excellent care of my dog while I was away, sending me several pictures and updates every day.”

“Cordigen has looked after our two dogs 5 times this month, with the most recent visit being an all day plus evening care. She has proven to be the caregiver we hoped for. She is loving to the dogs, responsible, responsive and sends us updates during and after her visits. It is such a privilege to have a caregiver we trust, so we can focus on and enjoy activities away from our pets. We have appreciated her flexibility when our schedules have been in flux, as well as covering a last minute need. We plan to continue to request her services for all our pet caregiving needs.”

“Maria was amazing!! Cannot recommend her enough. It was the first time my partner and I have ever had an overnight sitter and we were pretty anxious about the whole process. Maria made us both feel so confident that our rambunctious girls were in good care :) she went above and beyond and was excellent at communicating with us and sending photos throughout our stay!”
“Kimberly is absolutely amazing! She’s responsible, professional, and incredibly loving. This was my first time using Rover, and knowing John was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind as an anxious dog parent. I will definitely book with her again!”

About: I have my own 7 year old corgi whom I love to take on social outings, and have always wanted to own a ranch to foster dogs and other animals. for now, this will do🤓 I enjoy popping in to see my friends’ dogs while they’re at work to take them out for potty breaks & play, and watching my friends’ dogs when they go on trips~ Currently on a 3 month LOA from my nursing job, but am planning on taking a break afterwards due to burnout. Because of that I’m flexible and able to adjust to whatever needs pets may have! Currently I wake up, walk Toast (my corgi), hangout with him for a bit and then run errands if there are any. I can then pop in for a drop in/walk elsewhere (and bring toast too possibly)! He’s an integral part of my life so he’s always involved if he can be! My husband is an anesthesia MD resident at Stanford so he’s often at the hospital with long hours — all that to say he’s not very high maintenance as well so I have more wiggle room with my schedule :) I love dogs, and will always treat yours like I treat mine :) Will leave Toast at home if your dog is not up for socializing, but can also bring Toast if your dog needs some doggie time.
About: I have taken care of dogs/cats since I was 10 around my neighbourhood and for friends and families! I also grew up with dogs in my family I am currently home for the summer from college, until August 31st, I have tons of flexibility! I am happy to help out in the mornings and evenings/overnight stays. I care for the pets by making sure they get their needs as requested. Including walks for dogs and making sure they feel as seen as possible. I also care for cats as well.
“Fang was amazing! Our dog Annie is a recent rescue and is still really anxious about new people and things. Fang went out of her way to meet with Annie multiple times before she watched her, and gave Annie the time and space to really warm up to her. She was so wonderfully patient with Annie. We knew she was in good hands when we left - and Fang sent us plenty of photos which helped reassure us that Annie was doing ok while we were gone. Annie clearly had a great time!”

“Trina took care of Xander and Teal over the holidays. So grateful to her for taking such good care of my babies, especially giving Xander his meds which is a tough job. She is responsible, caring, clean and loving. Would trust her with my babies any day!”

“Zoe is the most patient person! She did not push herself on our rescue dogs, she let them slowly warm up to her. Our one dog, whose favorite place is under a bed or behind a couch, ended up sitting next to Zoe and letting her pet him. Amazing! Zoe has made a real difference in our dogs lives and we feel much better about taking trips now.”

“Victoria was fantastic with Piggy and Toast. She was kind, reliable, a great communicator, and sent us lovely photo updates while we were away. The dogs clearly adored her, and we came home to an incredibly tidy house. We’re so happy we found her and would absolutely book her again!”

“Audra is very responsible and caring not just with Emi but also with our home, she is very communicative and send us updates about our dog and Emi loves her. I would recommend Audra to anyone :)”

“Another amazing pet sitting experience with CJ!! Our shepherd Ellie absolutely loves him and when we came home, she looked at us like “who are you?” He takes great care of our girl and also leaves our house in impeccable condition. This time he even had to put up with house construction and had no complaints. He’s our go-to for pet sitting!”

“Arianna was really receptive to Willow's needs and very communicative. We really appreciate that she went above and beyond to give Willow company and to make her comfortable. She was also a terrific and considerate house guest. We recommend her wholeheartedly to other pet owners!”

“This was Akisha’s first sitting in this area and I will strongly recommend her for house sitting your beloved pets. She kept me informed me throughout via pictures and video messages and took a great care of my dog and the house.”

“Guilherme took care of our dog and cat during the Christmas and new years holiday. He sent many updates with photos, helped bring the garbage bins inside and collect mail and left our home more organized than when we left. Highly recommend and definitely hope to use his services again when we travel. Thanks Guilherme!”

“Juan has watched our dog now twice and has been wonderful. He is prompt to reply, sends lots of pictures and updates and most importantly our dog has been well-taken care of! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Simran stayed overnight at our home with our 16 year old dog and her dog Lucy for just under a week. She was so great at updating with photos and coordinating everything while we were gone and Lucy and Kumo seemed to get along great! She was prompt and organized and we will definitely use her again in the future.”

East Palo Alto pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had an excellent experience with Julie and would highly recommend her. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish, and we appreciated the daily photos and updates that kept us informed and reassured while we were away. Julie was punctual, dependable, and clearly cared for our dog as if it were her own. We also returned to a spotless home, which was such a wonderful bonus after traveling. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Julie again!

Korinne was fantastic. She took care of my kitty for 4 days and spent ample time with him, stayed the night, provided several updates a day and made me feel that he was well taken care of. Will definitely try to have her visit again in the future when I need help!

This was our second time booking Stephanie to watch our senior dog. She took great care of her and we came home to a happy dog. We appreciated that she took out the trash and kept our house clean. We are thankful to have found a great sitter to give us peace of mind while we’re traveling. Thanks for all of your help, Stephanie!

Jaya was super accomodating and flexible with the dates. My dog Mila was super comfortable with her. Jaya had excellent communication and took great pics, kept regular updates. I was able to travel with peace of mind, so I will continue booking with her again for sure!

Rachel was wonderful housesitting our very senior kitty. Her reports were not only very detailed but also full of love and warmth for our kitty. We also really appreciate that she is comfortable giving medications and keeping an eye out for basic senior issues. This is the first time we’ve left our 19 yr old kitty in a year, but we knew he was in great hands with Rachel. We can’t recommend her enough.

This is the first time we have used Adam. He helped us over night and was so good with our dog Bailey. He was very attentive to all her needs. He sent many pictures which meant alot because we knew she was in good hands. We will definitely book him the next time we need him.
Jessica did dog sitting for your 14 month energetic puppy (Cherry) and house sat as well. She was a pro at helping with the Cherry's playing, walking and all the schedule, including morning, afternoon, evening walks and other craziness. Cherry was so happy with her. She house sat in addition to pet sitting and left the house in immaculate condition. 5 stars!
