About: Hello! I’m Samaria and I am old to dog-sitting but new to Rover. I’ve loved dogs my whole life so I thought I’ve taken any opportunity to dogsit growing up. I’ve lived in Redwood City my whole life and have cared for my older sister’s four active dogs (three huskies and one terrier mix) whenever she’s out of town, for years (recently for 10 days straight?. I have taken them on walks, checked on the house and stayed overnight when there were fireworks to keep them calm. I’d love to give peace of mind to busy families and make a new fur friend. I’m very flexible and looking forward to meeting new puppers! If you have any questions or want to talk about any specifications, message me! I work full time remote so I walk, feed, and play with the dogs in breaks and even after my virtual work hours. Depending on the needs of the dog, I’ll move thing around. I am available to home sit, do check-ins, or just daily walks. I do not have a reserved space in my home that fits more dogs.

This is our first time having a pet sitter for our cat Zelda, and hence we're a bit over-anxious about how it'd go. She was genuinely kind enough to drop by at our place prior to our departure to patiently listen and note down our requests and listing of Zelda's needs. She kept us updated everyday about Zelda's activities, attitude and even sent us tons of glamorous pics of her on a daily basis! She even obliged to keep our plants watered and attended to them when they we're withering, all without any explicit requests. Lastly, she ensured to keep our place clean by electing to throw the trash and cleaning a few of our left over items. All in all we can't recommend Marisol highly enough, and would urge anyone considering to have her as their pet sitter to not have a second thought. She's incredible! About: I had 3 small dogs when I was younger and they passed away due to old. I currently have two dogs, one is pit bull and husky mixed and a puppy Yorkie tierrier. Both of them are super high energy. Love to play with them, they love walking, to the beach, to the park and love taking bath! I’ve taken care of my friend’s dogs as well. Renz is very easy to coordinate with, follows all my instructions, troubleshoots intelligently, is skilled in obedience training, and seems to really enjoy learning Pepper’s needs. About: I have done short term pet sitting for my friends and neighbors, feeding their cats and dogs in the morning and night. I like to take the time to play with the pets too rather than being in and out. Personally, I have had 2 cats and 2 dogs and both my dogs are larger breeds. My golden lab was quite the trouble maker and I was present during his training, so I can say I will most likely be able to train walking etiquette for jumpy dogs. I have been around many animals from cats to sheep and they all took their time getting to know me, but in the end they all love me. I currently have no obligations so pet care would form my schedule. I can spend as much or as little time as you want with the critters! In my own home I have a fenced yard and easy outdoor access. I would go back and forth with the pet to make sure they are safe and seen and have adequate potty breaks. If the client wants the pet to remain in one spot I can make that happen as well.

Then our family adopted Snoopy a poodle mutt from the streets of Peurto Rico. “I am happy we found Xiaokun. Our foster fail puppy who is a 6 month German Shepherd went to him for multiple doggy day care days and one boarding visit. She came back each time happy and tired. I really appreciated how Xiaokun followed our instructions and had great communication, especially when we boarded our pup shortly after her spay surgery. Also loved that on the doggy day care days he took our pup on awesome hikes/walks and sent pics for our peace of mind. Xiaokun has great calm energy and that definitely translated to making my pups stay a great one. Definitely recommend!”
