“Rachel is a great provider and really took great care of our pup. She communicated proactively, frequently with pictures and videos and updates. She followed pup's meal instructions carefully and even bought few things as needed. She took our dog for 2-3 walks per day and treated him like her own pup while at home. We felt at ease while traveling that our pup was in great hands. I would definitely recommend Rachel to take care of your dog. Thank you Rachel!”

“Tracy and her husband were great with my dog, Ocean! He stayed with them for a week, and they sent photos every day with updates on how he was doing and he had a great time :)”

“Dawn is an exceptional, all star, gem of a dog sitter. Her love for dogs shines through in her care and she understands them well. Dawn watched our older dog, Lewis, while we were out of town and brought him into her pack for amazing hikes outdoors and loving cuddles indoors. She provided frequent updates and ample photos which put us at ease as we knew Lewis was in great hands. Lewis came back to us well fed, well exercised, and well loved. We couldn't have asked for a better person to care for him. Thank you Dawn!!!”

“Michael and Tyler were divided a truly wonderful and happy stay for our little girl. They welcomed her and made her feel right at home, and she clearly had such a blast with them. It’s so reassuring to be able to leave her with people who are going to love her and care for her as you would yourself. We will have no hesitation in leaving our girl with them again in the future.”

“So glad our neighbors recommended Al and Rover.com for our dog, Bonnie. She seems to have had a great time and came home exhausted, after playing all day with the other dogs. Thanks, Al!”

About: I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them is something that genuinely brings me joy. In addition to raising my own pets, I’ve also helped many friends care for their dogs while they were away, so looking after other people’s pets isn’t new to me. I currently have two rescue dogs and one cat, and they’re truly part of my family. Because of them, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. My dogs are medium to large breeds (about 50 lbs and 100 lbs), so I’m very comfortable handling bigger, energetic dogs during walks and playtime. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, including Bichons, Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Huskies, and other breeds. One thing that sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets—I genuinely love spending time with them. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing together, I treat every dog and cat like they’re part of my own little family. Seeing them happy is one of the best parts of my day. I also love taking photos and videos of all their adorable moments and sharing regular updates, so you’ll always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and having a great time. In my free time, I volunteer at a local animal shelter because spending time with animals is something I’m truly passionate about. Since I’m currently home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care throughout the day. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel loved, comfortable, and at home while you’re away, and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for just like one of my own. I'm currently not employed so my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Since i'm home throughout the day, your dog will have lots of companionship, playtime, potty breaks and exericse. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as much as possible. In my home, your pet will have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day since I’m home most of the time. I live in an apartment with a private patio where we can enjoy some outdoor time and play games like fetch. We also have a convenient dog potty area just a short walk away, making bathroom breaks easy and frequent. For dogs that enjoy exercise and socializing, I’m also close to a community dog park and can take them there with your permission. If your dog prefers quieter walks or isn’t comfortable around other dogs, I’m equally happy to provide individual walks and one-on-one playtime instead. My two friendly rescue dogs love meeting new friends and make wonderful playmates for social dogs. However, I always prioritize every dog’s comfort and personality, and I’ll introduce dogs carefully and only if everyone is comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely to help your pet feel relaxed in their familiar environment. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy seeing how your furry family member is doing while you’re away.

Mora gave the puppy plenty of walks and play time, and was wonderfully communicative with us! I loved getting pictures and videos every day. She is fantastic!!”

“This was Yogi’s first time away from home, and Cynthia made sure he was well cared for. She sent us lots of updates (which we requested) and Yogi looked so happy the whole time. We weren’t sure how he’d do since we only adopted him a few months ago, but he seemed to have such a great time! Would book again!”

“Our pup Olive loves staying at Marivel’s! We know when Olive stays there, she will have plenty of playtime with other dogs, walks, daily medication and food, and we always receive multiple photos and videos every day. This past visit, Olive seemed cleaner than when we dropped her off- despite it raining over the weekend. Highly recommend Marivel to any dog owners in the area.”

“We were very lucky to find Kylie. We have a kitten, Lumi, that we love so much. Before, we didn’t even travel because we were afraid to leave him with anyone. Before our trip, we met Kylie and really liked her. During the trip it was so easy to talk with her. She stayed longer than we expected, and she always spoke honestly and clearly. Kylie has experience with cats, so she knows how to treat them and how to talk to them. Lumi felt comfortable with her right away. She gave him love and attention, and he trusted her. Kylie is responsible, kind, and very reliable. She kept us updated, which made us feel relaxed and safe. We could enjoy our trip knowing Lumi was happy. Now we are traveling again in a few days, and we asked Kylie to take care of Lumi once more. We know he will be in the best hands.”

I appreciate how she shares how Mowgli is interacting with her so much, he even laid on her chest this time and that's HUGE for him and shows how comfortable he is with her. She is so attuned and aware to him, I feel absolutely free to leave and know that he's in the best of hands. Thank you Rachel, you are INCREDIBLE!!!”

About: I cared for my own cat for the last 18 years, giving me extensive experience with cats of all ages, especially senior cats. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, administering oral medication if needed, and recognizing when a cat needs extra attention or prefers quiet space. I’ve also cared for my neighbors’ cats while they were away, making sure they stayed comfortable, safe, and loved in their own home.

“Octavia took care of our cat, Roni, while we traveled with our dogs. We came back to a happy cat! I’m grateful we have found Octavia. She does a great job and is very communicative about how everything is going when we are out of town.”

About: I spent time as a SPCA cat socializer with perfectly healthy kitties and some with significant health needs. We were expected to keep them company whether energetic kitten, disconnected and scared cat or even sick cats being treated. I’d play with the ones that wanted to play, sit with the shy ones and learn how to properly read their behavior and respond appropriately to get them more comfortable with humans. I raised my own cat who was a pretty easy going one from the get go. But my training and experience as a socializer helped me navigate ways to best support my other two kitties’ needs, and friends’ kitties’ needs more adeptly. Cat behavior is nuanced and I pride myself in looking for an animal’s signals to ensure I’m helping them be comfortable.

Pamela sent us photo updates, which we absolutely loved, and it was so reassuring to see Rex having a good time. She was also incredibly flexible and accommodating, which we really appreciated. When we picked Rex up, he was calm, happy, and not stressed at all. We’ve already booked several more stays with Pamela and are so glad we found someone we feel comfortable leaving Rex with. About: Animals have always been my jam. One of my favorite quotes is, "Dogs are angels sent down by god to teach us how to unconditionally love". When I'm surrounded by animals I feel at peace and because of that they feel content and loved. I've always had connections with animals on a very deep level. I feel they have so much to teach us and that earning an animals trust is one of life's most highest honors. With all my friends and family I've always been "chosen" by their cats and have been their dogs favorite person outside the family. I have a gift with animals that has allowed me the privilege to take care of and connect with many throughout the years. I do most of my work at home online and I'm a homebody so my pet care is part of my normal daily routine. I want them to feel that they're never alone. I feed, walk, play games cuddle and treat them as my own.If they need medicine, I can help with that as well. The hardest part of doing a service like this is when I leave them I miss them dearly until next time I see them.
About: I love meeting new animals, and keeping up with the ones I’ve met. My top priority is the well-being of your pets and your home. I am here to help. I follow any instructions or guidelines set out by the pet owner. I also employ common sense. If an animal needs space, they get space. If an animal wants to come along with me, they can- following the pet owner’s rules.

“Irina took fantastic care of my dog, Daisy! She took her on long walks, gave her lots of cuddles, and was very attuned to her individual needs. On top of that, Irina was very responsive to me, and sent lots of great pictures of their adventures together. It was so nice to know that Daisy was in good hands, and I didn't need to stress about her while I was away!”

“Fang is an amazing sitter! She is very communicative and sends photos, videos and updates throughout the day and night. She did an amazing job watching Four. It’s always hard to leave your fur baby, but I can tell that Four had a great time and enjoyed all the love and attention.”

“Andrew was AMAZING!! If you are hunting for someone to care for your animal while you are away he will treat your pets like one of his own. He sent lots of pictures and videos, took her on lots of walks, and she loved playing with his pup. I know leaving your fur babies with strangers is so hard but he is an amazing sitter and one we will forever use as long as he keeps sitting. Trust me he is a great choice.”

“I can't say enough about how Jesse & Kimmy rose to the occasion for our family. We contacted them for the first time, and they responded immediately with "we'd love to help you out." That was definitely an indication of how communicative and positive they are. They brought our 3-yr old dog into their home with open arms, and not only made him feel right at home, they provided updates constantly. So much so, I felt like I was in tune to how he was doing the entire time we were gone. We were very grateful for their loving & attentive services. They are a dog's dream - trust them - we did and we didn't regret it!”

“Yun was an excellent sitter for our dog Orzo! Our friends who usually watch Orzo were out of town, and Yun was happy to accomodate our booking within a week’s notice. Yun was communicative and sent us daily updates on Orzo’s behavior. We especially appreciate the fact that Yun was flexible with Orzo’s pickup time — our flight was late which made us ~45 min delayed in our agreed upon pickup time. Thank you, Yun! 🤗”

“Nina and Leo were phenomenal hosts and took amazing care of our GSD for a full 9 days. This was her first time away from us since we adopted her several months ago, and they managed our own anxiety as well as the dog’s like real pros. We can’t recommend them enough.”
“We have been using Aoran for our fur babies whenever he is available and he has been outstanding in his care for our dogs. We trust that our dogs will be safe, fed, taken out, and have good company at their home. Our dogs are shelties and they are dogs who are not fond of strangers but they always enjoy their stay with Aoran and his wife. We get pictures as well so it’s nice to get updates! Thank you so much for having them again! We truly appreciate all the help every time! Highly recommend.”
