About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.

“Nina and Leo watched my dog Beesly for a day. They sent pictures of him that made it very clear he was having a great time. They made sure to do his favorite thing ever with him - play ball, of course. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“This was Shiloh's second time at Guillermo' and Siobhan's home. Guillermo has great vibes and Shiloh comes home fulfilled and tired. We couldn't ask for more!”

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog, super attentive and clearly cared a lot. She took him out on hikes and kept me updated with plenty of photos, which I really appreciated. He came back happy and relaxed. Would happily book with her again.”

I’m so glad we found them — I’d definitely book again!”

“This was our first time leaving our 13 month old dog with a sitter and it went great! Charlotte was very kind and assured me right away that she was well equipped to handle Theo. She sent lots of pictures and videos each day that we were away, followed our feeding and care instructions, and gave him a ton of exercise. He seemed very happy and we were so glad he was in such good hands while we were away!”

“Manli was terrific! Beautiful home and a pleasant environment. She sent me daily pictures of how my Mac was doing, which was especially great given this was his first time boarding in someone's home (instead of a kennel). Highly recommended!”

“Kelly and Ben were great with Sadey for a long stay! I can tell she was well loved and taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely leave our pup with them again! Thank you!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life (at one point we had 5 at time!) love taking them for long walks, teaching them new tricks like weave (and handstand!), and engaging their minds with agility. My senior dog recently passed and while I am not ready to get a new dog just yet, I miss having a dog so want to occasionally dog sit to help others out with their dogs before getting another dog of my own. I work full time but occasionally work from home. For this reason, Thursday to Sunday or Monday is best for me. I am active and love going on walks, hikes, and runs in and around the beautiful Portola Valley neighborhood. I love to hang on the couch and snuggle in the evenings! Dogs (non shedding) allowed on the bed :) My large backyard is fenced. My husband Dave and I often are asked by friends to help train their dogs because we love to help and are good at it! :)
“It was Charlie's first experience boarding and Jifu did a great job. Charlie got a long great with Joki and seemed to spend the days playing and having fun. Everything went well and Charlie came home happy and healthy. Thanks!”

“Alissa took good care of Kody and sent us photos daily during his 5-day stay. We could see that he was being well cared for, taken on daily walks, and happy and that gave us lots of peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Alissa.”

“I highly recommend Ying for anyone seeking a reliable and attentive pet sitter. She was incredibly thorough, followed every detailed instruction perfectly, and kept me at ease with regular photos and videos. One of my dogs bonded with her immediately, which is the ultimate endorsement. I couldn't have asked for a more professional or caring experience!”

“My dog Re’lar had a blast staying with Michael (as evidenced by the many photos and videos I recieved). Michael was communicative which helped put me at ease since this was the first time my pup stayed with him. Would be happy to have Re’lar stay with him again next time we are in need.”

“Pouneh was absolutely wonderful with our dog! He was so excited to see her and was treated so well the whole weekend he stayed with her! I really appreciated the excellent and prompt communication too!”

About: I’ve had cats all my life. I can't remember a time growing up when we didn't have at least one feline friend in the home. I have lots of experience caring for cats with special needs, and I provided hospice care for one of my senior cats, having to administer shots, pills, and IV bags on a strict schedule. I understand how difficult it is to leave a special-needs pet in someone else's care, but with me, your cats will always be in good hands!

About: I spent time as a SPCA cat socializer with perfectly healthy kitties and some with significant health needs. We were expected to keep them company whether energetic kitten, disconnected and scared cat or even sick cats being treated. I’d play with the ones that wanted to play, sit with the shy ones and learn how to properly read their behavior and respond appropriately to get them more comfortable with humans. I raised my own cat who was a pretty easy going one from the get go. But my training and experience as a socializer helped me navigate ways to best support my other two kitties’ needs, and friends’ kitties’ needs more adeptly. Cat behavior is nuanced and I pride myself in looking for an animal’s signals to ensure I’m helping them be comfortable.

“Danielle was able to accommodate our last minute request and squeeze ours into her busy holiday schedule. Danielle sent tons of pictures and a summary during each visit. Reading those updates from Danielle made me smile :)”

“Thien-Nha is absolutely wonderful and I’m so lucky to have found her. She’s reliable, responsive, and incredibly kind. Even my super shy kitty came out of hiding to say hello when Thien-Nha came over. I feel she really goes above and beyond for our pets and that is simply invaluable. Will definitely hire her again for our next trip.”

“I’ve hired Julia twice to take care of my two Persians and I would definitely hire her again! She was great at giving them medicine, making sure they were well taking care of and having some fun with them. She communicates very well and gave us lots of pics. We are very happy with her services.”

“This was the second time Morgan watched my cats and I felt at peace with them in her care. Her communication is excellent. My very shy cat even warmed up to her! She’s fantastic.”

“Jenna is an absolutely fantastic pet sitter. She took care of our cats for two weeks while we were traveling and spent lots of time playing with them gave us daily updates with cute photos and was generally super communicative. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend her.”

“Genevieve was very thorough and provided check-ins and followups in unclear situations (e.g. my cat has a medical condition and she was attentive and checked with me on his symptoms regularly). She also cleaned my apartment/countertops on the last day which I really appreciated!”

About: I have been looking after Jinx - my roommate's cat - ever since I moved to Redwood City at the beginning of 2025. My roommate has gotten a lot busier lately, so I took it upon myself to look after Jinx: playing with her, feeding wet food, cleaning her feeding bowls, and scooping & changing her litter. She's definitely less lonely now, and she loooves the Costco boxes & Cat Dancer toys I got her! I ensure a safe, clean, and stress-free environment for all cats - from giving them space outside of play time, scooping & changing litter boxes, to ensuring they don't chew cables & knock over furniture.

“Chelsea is AMAZING! She is so great with our cats—they love her and always come out to greet her despite being very shy. She also accommodated us over a holiday weekend last minute which we will forever be grateful for. She is very communicative, attentive, and considerate. Could not recommend more!”

“Alexa took excellent care of my cat while I was away. My cat has separation anxiety and can't be left alone. I needed someone at the last minute and she took the job. She communicated well, shared lots of cute pictures and videos, and I could tell my cat loved her. Would definitely hire her again!”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. I am very comfortable around dogs and want your dog to be happy. I am very clean and want to be considerate of your space.
“Our puppy had such a great time with Ying! She was super attentive to all our puppy’s needs and sent lots of pictures. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Her dog has also been a great playmate for our puppy, so they get lots of energy out too.”

About: Hi! I work from home and have flexibility to watch another dog from time to time. My pup is a golden retriever adopted last year, she is very friendly and knows how to give older dogs their space and has been exposed to younger puppies which she also does well with. I have a perfect backyard for fetching, sniffing and sunny 😎 naps. Doggies of all sizes and ages are welcome. I have lot of toys, pet beds, grassy areas in my home. I also have a large pet friendly car, ready to help with drop off and pick ups if needed. I have flexibility to watch your pup during weekdays and weekends. I have our dog to care for so it's easy to add another 1-3 to the mix :) I have a large fenced in yard, also live within walking distance to nearby off leash dog friendly parks and natural areas. I have many pet beds and can also provide a crate if needed.
“Allison has been absolutely amazing with our puppy, Lulu! She has great communication, is very flexible, and clearly truly cares about the dogs she watches. From the beginning, she took the time to ask detailed questions about Lulu’s routine so she could keep everything as consistent as possible while we were away. She sent pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind, and it was obvious Lulu was happy and well cared for. What really appreciated was that even though Lulu is still in training, Allison continued the habits and routines we’ve been working on at home. There was no disruption when Lulu came back to us, no acting out or setbacks. We will absolutely be repeat clients and would recommend her without hesitation. If you want someone who will genuinely care for your pet like their own, Allison is your person!”

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
“Manli was extremely prompt with her communication:D we had a last minute change in work schedule and she was able to accommodate both our 3yr old Rusty and 6 month old puppy Ruby! They seemed like they had a great time:)”

“I very much appreciate Ruo’s attentiveness in creating such a comforting environment for my senior pup. Trinity is special needs (being both visually and hearing impaired). She is so calm when I pick her up - all signs of how at ease she is and evidence to the care Ruo provides to ensuring a stressful visit! ♥️”

“Sein is a fantastic sitter! She takes great care of my pup Little Bear and you can tell she’s very gentle with him (he has separation anxiety). Always responsive and ensures Little Bear has many walks and is fed as requested. Highly, highly recommend booking with Sein!!”

About: I have periodically taken care of a family members dog which also included home stays (two week maximum), outdoor adventures, and beach visits. I currently do doggy day outs at pet shelters when needed and have had no trouble in the past. I have always been a dog lover and enjoy meeting new furry friends daily. I currently work with the city of Redwood City during the night shift so my days are completely free and I’m looking to fill them with friendly fun companions as we take adventures together and create wonderful memories for your pups I have a furry nephew by the name of Larry who is a golden retriever that loves meeting new people and animals on the daily. We usually go for walks after breakfast everyday then come home for a small nap. Once the good boy is up from his name we will have lunch then follow up with an afternoon hike or a walk by the water to introduce him to new smells. I do have a fenced yard that has plenty of space for play dates or doggy days in as well as a loving mother that cooks homemade dog food for our furry friends which we have had no trouble feeding them and accommodate to our furry friends needs.
“Ava dogsat our dog Tequila and was absolutely wonderful! Tequila had a great time with Ava and her dog Ginger, and Ava kept us updated with photos throughout the day. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with 11+ years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, including daily walks, feeding, grooming, and training. I’ve also pet-sat and walked dogs for friends and neighbors, and I truly love spending time with animals. What sets me apart is that I combine genuine affection with responsible care. Through years of experience and working alongside trainers, I’ve learned how to create structured, positive walks while making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or endless belly rubs, I’ll treat them like family and give them the attention they deserve. I have a very flexible schedule and love working around what works best for you and your dog! I’m available for dog walks most mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I’m happy to accommodate both regular and last-minute requests when possible. Just send me a message with the times you need, and I’ll do my best to make it work. Spending time with dogs is genuinely one of my favorite things to do, so I’m always excited to meet a new furry friend and help them get the exercise, attention, and love they deserve! When caring for a dog in my home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Having cared for my own dog for over 11 years, I understand how important routine, patience, and attention are to a dog’s happiness and well-being. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s exercise, playtime, affection, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, basic grooming, and reinforcing good leash manners, and I’m always committed to following any instructions provided by owners. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with dogs. Whether we’re out on a walk, playing, or relaxing together, I treat every dog with the same care and kindness that I gave my own. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re in my care.

“Octavia is amazing! Very communicative and knows how to handle dogs incredibly well. Her dog training experience is super key and nice to have. I also have experience as a vet assistant at pets in need, where I learned the importance of hygiene, attention to detail, and the bond between us and our furry friends. Lastly, I’ve had all kinds of pets since I was young! I have two dogs of my own, one of which has special needs, so I truly understand the importance in finding someone trustworthy and capable. “Yu Chen is such a great friend for our pet Shadow. We are so lucky that we found Yu Chen. While we were away, she took shadow out for a long walk everyday for more than we agreed. She left me notes everyday regarding her time with Shadow. It was such a relief to know that our dog is in good hands. She is truly a dog lover! Don’t hesitate to let her take care of your paws. I will always recommend Yu Chen. Hope to see Yu Chen again soon.”

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.
About: I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers my whole life and got my very first puppy when I was 15. More recently, I brought home a French Bulldog, and it’s been such a joy watching him grow from a tiny puppy into the sweet, fun 1-year-old he is now! Having pets has always been a big part of my life, and I truly love caring for them I work from home so I am usually pretty available! I do have a lot of virtual calls so I cannot usually do last minute walks but can plan around my day! I am completely free after 3:30 PM everyday. I have a French bulldog who loves to play and spends a lot of his time cuddled up with us. We also have a huge patio that is fenced in and a dog area to let them roam around and play.
“Rachel is wonderful with Bodhi - attentive to his needs, and giving him good big walks even in short periods of time. Rachel is responsive and helpful with Bodhi - retrieving him quietly if our baby is sleeping, and ensuring he had lots of water when he returns! Thanks, Rachel!”

About: I’m a current Stanford student missing my best friend back home! So I have lots of extra love to give. I’ve been a lifelong dog owner with experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs (my sweet girl is 12 years old!). I personally understand how important it is to find a sitter/walker you can truly trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just some extra company and care, I’ll treat them like my own. I also have experience with senior dogs and working with reactive dogs on leash. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m currently training for a half marathon and would love a running buddy! I'm available all-day from Saturday to Monday for drop ins, walks, and pet sitting. I can also do walks/check-ins after 3pm on Tuesday, Thursday mornings/afternoons, and after 5pm on Fridays. I understand how important walk and play-time is for dogs, so I'll provide the most enriching time possible! I will only care for your pet in your home. Let me know about your dog's schedule and routine and I will accommodate to best fit their needs!
About: I have been cat and dog sitting since I was 16! I have experience walking and pet sitting for neighbor’s, friend’s and family’s animals. I also grew up with dogs so I am very comfortable with all ages and sizes of animals! I have experience volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society from college so I have formal dog walking training! I just finished a contract working at Stanford and have some extra time in my day now. I am big on taking my daily walks outside and any pet can join me! Other than exercising I spend most of my day doing work and reading being a couch potato. I always try to work with the pets routine and stay flexible. I am big on making the pets comfortable (usually with treats and floor time) around me. I like to spend time with pets in their home before taking them on walks or letting them out. I can follow any rules set and any training that needs to be enforced as well.

“This was Shiloh's second time at Guillermo' and Siobhan's home. Guillermo has great vibes and Shiloh comes home fulfilled and tired. We couldn't ask for more!”

“We love having our dog stay with Jesse and Kimmy. She truly can't wait to jump out of the car when we arrive and we know she is so well taken care of when she's there. We'll definitely be booking with them again.”

Thanks!”

“Pouneh was absolutely wonderful with our dog! He was so excited to see her and was treated so well the whole weekend he stayed with her! I really appreciated the excellent and prompt communication too!”

“Lia was incredibly sweet and thoughtful with my dog. She sent check-in videos and photos which made my kids so happy. I feel very lucky to have found her. Cali had a great stay!”

“Tillana is incredibly professional yet fun. We appreciated her attention to detail while she watched our pup, as well as the frequent updates featuring pictures of him living his best life. We will definitely be using Tillana again.”

“Margaret was an amazing host for our pup. She was flexible with timing when our flight was delayed, and sent a picture/video and message daily to let us know how Emmy was doing. She went above and beyond to take care of Emmy, and we will absolutely be contacting Margaret again for our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Ian was so warm and attentive with my dog. He truly delighted in his company and it was very reassuring to leave knowing he was so well cared for. My dog Wilkie also got along famously with Ian's dog and the two of them played and had the time of their lives throughout his stay. Wilkie can't wait to go back for another Ian stay.”
