Since we work from home, we spend all day with our dog and would love to have other dogs around to keep him company. Since we work from home, you can expect all-day companionship for your dog, whether it's for daycare or boarding. Plus, since we have a dog of our own, your pup is guaranteed to have a blast and be super happy here! We live in a single-story, single-family house with a secure, sturdy fence all around. We like to keep the backdoor open to the backyard, and since we have a dog of our own, our home is absolutely a pet-friendly environment.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I've cared for dogs with medical challenges and disabilities and my own dog, Harold, is paralyzed in his rear end. Your dogs will be a part of our family for the time they stay with me. I work mostly from home but may go to the office a few days a week for a few hours. I run in the morning, if your dog is athletic they will come with, or go out for a mellow walk in the morning. I live in a quiet neighborhood behind a park where the dogs can run and walk. I care for dogs in my home. The house has a fenced back yard and we can take trips to dog parks, if your dog is into that. I have two dogs (a lab and a chihuahua mix) so your dog will have dog buddies to play with.
“James did a terrific job with our two girls Beans and Izzy. Beans is an extremely shy dog and is very reluctant to trust strangers, so we are always anxious about leaving her with someone new. James was extremely patient gaining her trust though and went out of his way to make her feel comfortable and happy. When we picked them up both dogs were doing great and giving him kisses! He sent us home with some home-made treats, which was a wonderful touch. We hope James can watch our girls in the future, he did such a great job.”

As a fellow pawrent, I know how stressful it can be to find someone reliable, especially when something comes up at the last minute. My goal is to have a trusted place for fellow doodle families that your pup is excited to go back to and to give you complete peace of mind when it comes to leaving them. I’ll send regular photo updates so you can see how your pup is settling in and doing throughout their stay. My husband (Peter) and I both work from home, so your fur baby will have company throughout the day. We are available for boarding during weekdays and weekends. To make sure every pup gets the attention they deserve, we will only host 1–2 dogs at a time. Your pup will enjoy walks around our quiet neighborhood and also have the company of our friendly doodle, who is respectful with other dogs and happy to play or simply lounge depending on their energy.

I work from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day, daily walks, and plenty of attention. I only board one household at a time because I want every dog to feel comfortable and at home, not a house full of unfamiliar dogs. My dog, Henry, is friendly with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having company, but he's also pretty laid back. I've cared for senior dogs, including one with megaesophagus and myasthenia gravis, so I'm comfortable giving oral and liquid medications and following special feeding schedules. Before every first stay, I'd love to do a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. During your dog's stay, I'll send plenty of photo and video updates so you know they're doing well. I work from home full time, so your dog will have company throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. We usually start the day with a morning walk, followed by another walk in the afternoon and a shorter walk before bed, plus potty breaks as needed. Henry and I visit nearby parks every day, and if your dog enjoys dog parks too, I'm happy to include those with your permission. If not, we'll stick to neighborhood walks and on-leash park visits. On hot days, I'll adjust our schedule and walk during the cooler parts of the day. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Since I only board one household at a time, I can give each dog plenty of attention and keep a close eye on how they're settling in. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and all walks and park visits are on leash unless we're in a designated enclosed area and you approve. My dog, Henry, is friendly with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having company, but he's also happy to relax and do his own thing. I also have a cat who mostly keeps to herself and usually prefers to stay out of the action. I'm happy to follow your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, furniture rules, and any other instructions that help them feel at home. If your dog is crate trained, I'm happy to use your crate if you bring one.
