I’m new to the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area and would love the opportunity to meet and care for your dog! As the owner of a part-time in-home charcuterie business, I enjoy a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I love getting to know each pup’s unique personality. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, some companionship while you're away, or a little extra exercise and attention, I’m happy to help. And don't worry—I can always fit your dog in between slicing cheese!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I believe every dog is unique, and I’m happy to tailor each visit to whatever makes your pet most comfortable and excited. Whether that means a leisurely neighborhood walk on leash, a trip to the dog park, a game of fetch in your backyard, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Every visit is filled with plenty of affection, belly rubs, cuddles, and love. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away—and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet
Every dog is different, and I want to provide the best experience possible for your pet. Please feel free to share any special instructions, preferences, routines, or quirks that make your dog unique. Whether it's a favorite walking route, training cues, medications, anxieties, treats they love, or simply the best way to earn their trust, I welcome all the details. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they're in my care.
A typical day
A typical walk starts with a few minutes of greetings, pets, and getting your dog comfortable and excited to head out. I always make sure leashes, harnesses, and collars are secure before we begin. During our walk, I let your dog set the pace. Some pups love a brisk walk and plenty of exercise, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting scent along the way. I believe walks should be both physical exercise and mental enrichment, so there is always time for exploring, sniffing, and enjoying the outdoors. Depending on your dog's personality and energy level, our time together may include walking, playtime, fetch, practicing basic commands, or simply enjoying some fresh air and attention. Safety is always my top priority, and I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, weather conditions, and anything else that could affect your pet's well-being.

Experienced Dog Lover!
Pet care experience
I am a compassionate and reliable dog walker with years of experience caring for and advocating for dogs through rescue work and pet ownership. At present I am volunteering with Doggie Protective Services in Palo Alto. Having shared my life with dogs for more than 30 years, I understand that every pup has their own personality, needs, and routine. I am comfortable administering medications, including pills and eye drops, and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention. After recently relocating to Menlo Park from San Diego, I am excited to get to know the local community—both the humans and the dogs! While I am unable to offer boarding at this time, I would love the opportunity to provide your pup with an enjoyable walk, a fun play session, or a caring visit filled with attention, affection, and companionship. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind that they are in good hands.

I am thankful to have Elizabeth so close. My dog does much better in home environments and with the fenced backyard, it was paradise for my pooch. Elizabeth is relaxed and responsible. I'm so glad I found her!

Liz has been fantastic helping us take care of our dog Reese. Reese is a springer spaniel, and very oriented towards her family. Liz has been so welcoming to her that Reese has done great with the separation, and really ends up having a great vacation herself!
