**Pet care experience** I’ve been around animals practically my whole life — I got my first cat when I was 5 years old, and I’ve loved caring for pets ever since. For the past 3 years, I’ve been a dedicated dog owner, giving me hands-on experience with daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of love and patience. What sets me apart is my real-world experience growing up with pets of different personalities and needs. I understand how to read animal behavior, create a calm environment, and build trust, whether it’s with a shy cat or an energetic pup. I’m comfortable with basic training, maintaining routines, and providing attentive care to keep pets happy and relaxed while you’re away. Alexandra and her family are amazing with our corgi Olive. She has been going for daycare and always comes back happy and tired after a long day of playing. We love all of the photo updates that Alexandra sends throughout the day. She is kind and a great communicator!
My dog seemed to have enjoyed her stay and the extra playtime with another dog. Alex was very responsive to messages and communications. She paid attention to all my requests to care for my dog and provided lots of support to her during the week-long stay.
We highly recommend Alexandra! She was easy to communicate with and sent frequent updates. We loved getting pictures and videos of our pup multiple times a day. We could tell that Alexandra treated Olive as part of her family. Olive had a great time playing with their dog Wall-e and son Noah. We did not worry about Olive for our entire trip—only that she wouldn’t want to come home!
Alexandra did an outstanding job looking after my 80lb goldendoodle. Working with her was a breeze, and my dog seems to love her more than he loves me.

I work from home, and I take my dog on at least 40 minutes walks twice per day (in the morning and in the evening).

**Safety, trust & environment** I always prioritize a safe and comfortable experience for every pet. In my home or yours, I make sure pets have a clean space, fresh water, and a consistent routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s habits, favorite activities, and any special instructions, so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive on walks, keeping pets leashed and away from hazards, and I always double-check doors, gates, and feeding schedules. Communication matters to me — I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. My goal is to provide a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can relax, play, and feel safe until you return.

A typical day
I love to stimulate the dog physically and mentally. My dog loves to play fetch, learn new commands, and just cuddle together. I also like to go on long walks.
