I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On weekdays, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening, while afternoon walks can be scheduled on a week-by-week basis depending on my on-site work schedule. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls throughout the day. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember, starting with Ginger, my family's German shepherd and husky mix, and four cats growing up. I later spent about two years volunteering at my local SPCA, working hands-on with dogs of every size and temperament, from bouncy puppies to nervous rescues. I've also had cats of my own as an adult, including two rescues, and fostered kittens before I started traveling. Since then I've cared for pets through farm stays and housesits across Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, and Canada — dogs, cats, chickens, goats, even an adult pet rat. I'm comfortable administering medication, working with anxious or senior animals, and managing multi-pet households. I'm calm, attentive, and treat every home and animal I look after like my own. I'm currently transitioning to the San Mateo County area and building my schedule around pet care full-time, so I have plenty of flexibility for house sits, and daily visits, including extended or last-minute stays. I don't currently have a conflicting 9-to-5, which means I can commit fully to a pet's normal routine for the length of a booking rather than fitting care in around other work.
