About: I've had experience taking care of a variety of breeds, including mixes like a Shepsky, and pure breds like Golden Retrievers and Shar Pies. These experiences also inlcuded a rescue dog that was heart worm positive that required medication and extra care, as well as a blind senior dog that required an intensive special diet and medication schedule. At the moment I have a wide variety of availability and being in between jobs I would like to take more time for things I enjoy, such as being around and caring for animals. I previously held a job working for a law enforcement agency and have worked in positions of public trust in the past, so I have passed a very complete background check as well as mutiple reference checks. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and home.

About: My husband and I moved to Los Altos Hills to help care for my father and I have recently left a career in marketing. I’m looking to fill my free time with more caring! I’m experienced carer for dogs & cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments including the Big Boys. I’ve raised all our dogs from puppy and currently own a 13 y/o F Border Collie and 10 y/o Shitzu-Bichon mix. Our 4 y/o, 110lb German Shepard died in 2023 of lymphoma and I have experience in end of life care. He was an anxious dog and gave me lots of experience in dealing large dogs w/ difficult temperments. I have house sitted many other dog breeds as well. In addition I own a very vocal 16 y/o Main Coon Cat and have cat sitted cats of all ages and temperaments. I also have experience with fostering young kittens and caring for kittens. To round out the menagerie we also have a 4 y/o Chinchilla and I have many years experience caring for Rabbits, Rats, & Hamsters. I’m so lucky to live near family who can cover my pet-mom duties for me so I’m currently free full-time. I will adjust my schedule as my availability changes. I’m happy to stay over night, administer medication, cook meals if diet requires (fee applies), do long walks or short walks, long check-ins or short drop by, comfortable with crates, loud dogs, and dogs that are all over you.

About: The first thing worth noting is that I love animals! I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I know the worries a pet owner has when it comes to anyone else caring for their furry family members. You can be sure that your pet will be treated as one of my own. I work from home with an extremely flexible schedule. I can spend tons of quality time both active trips to the beach, trails, walk around the neighborhood and low-key snuggle time too. I prioritize meeting your pets needs and have an understanding of animal’s behavior over the years. I have worked with dogs who are in need of medications and even some who are diabetic and need insulin. I will make sure your pet will get the exercise they need while keeping them engaged in any activity we do :). Aside from my job, I have two dogs of my own. One cattle dog mix and a chihuahua. I have experience and I am comfortable with both big and small dogs and would love to meet yours ! I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to look over your pets! I am available to do drop in visits and dog walks Monday, Wednesday from 11-4 and Saturdays 12-5. I am able to build a trusting relationship between me and your dog. About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I can administer meds (pills, inhaled steroids, subcutaneous fluids) and carry out routine grooming tasks. I have had 4 dogs and 5 cats over my adult years but currently have no pets. I am recently retired and walk about 3-5 miles/day. Miss walking with a dog. I love cats and miss having one around. I am retired and walk 3-5 miles a day so I can easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and I miss walking with a dog. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own. I live on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard. I have a cool head in a crisis. I work with one client at a time. If you have two pets, that is ok with me.

After that I have taken care of and walked another dog that I still sometimes take care of to this day! I work part time at the local hardware store and I am a student at CSM! I have the time and willingness to take care of your pets! Unfortunately will not be able to take care of pets in my home due to restrictions.
