Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. “We had Esmeralda visit and feed our two older cats while we were away, coming once a day. This was our first time with Esmeralda and we are happy with the results. She asked good questions during the meet and greet, and she left our home neat and tidy. I left pretty detailed instructions on feeding and garbage disposal and she followed them well. Our cats are very shy, so she did not have a lot of interaction with them. It looks like one of the cats let Esmeralda get near him towards the end of her visits. The one slight criticism I have is that while she checked off the jobs that she did during each visit she did not write a progress report, such as the cats ate all of their food, or Ray let me pet him.”

“We are so grateful to have found Kenny. We tried leaving our dog at a hotel/boarding facility. We paid extra for a nice room. But he was mostly in that room alone, standing and clawing at the glass, begging for attention. And when we would drop him off, he would try to get away. When we picked him up, he was panicked and breathing hard. He couldn’t mingle with the dogs due to being intact. It was isolating and he has separation anxiety. I’m sharing this for contrast. When I drop him off at Kenny’s he runs to him, jumps and licks him, and walks away without ever looking back at me, lol. We get photo and video updates showing how much fun he has: playing in the yard with another dog, pooping! Going for a walk, eating, napping, etc. Kenny watches over them and keeps them safe, ex: big vs small, neutered/spayed vs not. My dog loves going there now, and I can focus on work without worry. About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail.
