About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and pet sitting for families in my community for years. I grew up with cats, chickens, and very large dogs (mastiffs and shepherds), so I’m extremely comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and families throughout the Half Moon Bay, La Honda, and Pescadero areas, I also have professional experience working with animals. For three years I worked with horses in a therapeutic riding program, where I helped care for and rehabilitate former racehorses and support their training to become therapy animals. I’m attentive on walks, keep pets safely leashed, and make sure gates, doors, and fences are secure and locked upon leaving your home. I also believe communication is paramount while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

It was a long time for us to be away, especially from a pup with separation anxiety and health issues that require medication multiple times a day, so we needed someone truly exceptional. Kiana was even better than that! She is incredibly detail oriented and follows every instruction with care. Our house was clean and well looked after. But what really sets Kiana apart is how deeply she cares. Knowing our dog struggles with new people and stressful transitions, she not only came for an initial meet and greet but proactively offered to visit again so he could feel completely comfortable before the long stay. Throughout her time with him, she sent photos and updates that showed just how relaxed and happy he was. He was genuinely loved and perfectly cared for, and honestly, I think he is bummed now that she is gone! We will absolutely be requesting Kiana’s help again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up my whole life with big dogs in the house, and have been watching (and loving) dogs for around a decade. Whether walking and watching my own, neighbors, or family friends- I have gained a lot of experience over the years. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, dogs with disabilities, and puppies over the age of 11 months (including untrained). I have experience with overnight house-sitting for up to 4 animals at a time, and dogs with disabilities (as my eldest dog (Maverick) is blind in one eye). Back when I was in middle school I had two yellow labs: Barney & Zoey, and now have 2 yellow labs Maverick (13) & Indy (4). Since my family has always rescued our dogs, sometimes this can come with dogs from situations that have left them with lasting anxiety or behavioral issues. About: I started by taking care of my moms 4 dogs when she would go on vacations and needed a dog sitter. That really taught me how to feed them efficiently and when to take them outside to go potty. From there I learned how to hang out with them and play with them efficiently. I am a college student with classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I am available for the entire day and night. On Wednesday and Friday I'm available at night, Monday I'm not because I have a night class. Staying over night is not a problem, along with check ins during the days even on school days. I love dogs and am really good at feeding them, taking them outside, and playing with them. I'm not a trainer, but someone who is good at taking care of them while you are away. My mom has 4 small dogs so I'm very familiar with smaller dogs, but I have also watched bigger dogs as well.
