About: Hi! I’m Taryn! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with a lifelong love for animals — especially rescues. Over the past 13 years, I’ve owned three very different dogs (a chihuahua, dachshund mix, and shepherd mix), so I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. I’m comfortable adjusting care based on your dog — whether that means a short, gentle walk for a senior pup or a long, active outing to burn energy. I also have hands-on experience with dogs who have leash or food aggression, and I always approach care with patience, awareness, and respect for each dog’s comfort level. As of 6/1/2026 I have a Certificate of Completion from the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid (online) In addition, one of my dogs, Shadow, has seizures, so I’m familiar with staying calm in high-stress situations, monitoring for symptoms, and providing attentive, responsive care when it matters most. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who has extra needs. I’ve also have my own mini crew of farm animals including chickens and ducks and have some experience looking after goats and horses. She was a great communicator from booking to completing her stay (she actually communicated with another dog sitter for a handoff, which was going over and above). About: I grew up with my brother's dogs and have been watching dogs professionally for the last three years. Just as happy to take a high-energy dog as a mellow old senior citizen. Even the stubborn ones :) I work from home as a writer and can give your pup lots of attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to step outside to Washington Park or the fields and like to do a longer walk on the Bay Trail or Coyote Point once a day. I have a big grassy enclosed yard, too, with no dogs on the other side of the fence. If they like having a playmate, my brother’s dog Junior is three blocks away and always down to play. The yard is enclosed and I am home for most of the day on any given day. If they get cold easily, I’m happy to cover them with a blanket when they are resting. I’m a coldie too and like my house warm, so I get it! During hot days, the house stays mercifully cool, and I have a fan to help dogs with thicker fur.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and pet sitting for families in my community for years. I grew up with cats, chickens, and very large dogs (mastiffs and shepherds), so I’m extremely comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and families throughout the Half Moon Bay, La Honda, and Pescadero areas, I also have professional experience working with animals. For three years I worked with horses in a therapeutic riding program, where I helped care for and rehabilitate former racehorses and support their training to become therapy animals. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walk routines and house rules. I can’t lie, I’m a bit of a neat freak! I leave a home better than I found it. I’m attentive on walks, keep pets safely leashed, and make sure gates, doors, and fences are secure and locked upon leaving your home. I also believe communication is paramount while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: I don’t have problem taking caredogs. My friends and family used to relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. I’m currently working part-time and it’s manageable, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups I’m available boarding especially weekdays 7am onwards. My place is a free space for one dog at time especially to trained dog I dont do much restriction so dog can move and play around, I live close to lake in foster city and its so easy access to walk the dog any time in a day.

About: Hey, from your dog's new favorite dog walker. My name is Meg and I absolutely love animals! I've been volunteering with shelters and fostering dogs and cats since I was 16 years old. I also have two of my own family dogs, a terrier named Dolly and a husky named Tika! Here in Chicago, I currently have my cat Goose. I have open availability outside of Monday through Friday, 2 - 7 PM, as I am a flag football coach. I love pets and have volunteered/fostered at shelters with cats, dogs, and small animals. I have a cat myself, who is pretty independent, but I will need to go & make sure he's doing well minimum of 1-2x a day if housesitting. I offer dog walking, cat & dog check-in visits, and house sitting. Check-in & house-sitting visits require an introductory appointment so you can feel comfortable with me; I can get to know you and your pet's needs, go over instructions and rules, and answer any additional questions or concerns!

I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines, and I consider myself well-prepared to handle a variety of situations. I’m highly communicative, proactive, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I always strive to go the extra mile for my clients, making sure both pets and their people feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. This work brings me a great deal of joy, and I genuinely love getting to know and care for each animal. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week and travel across the Bay Area for in-home sits. Pets are also welcome to stay with me at my Emeryville loft. I have an 8-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix who is friendly with most animals and mostly keeps to himself. I prioritize regular walks, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection throughout the day. When caring for dogs in their home, I aim for 2–3 walks daily on safe, familiar routes; there is also a dog park directly across from my loft if that’s a good fit for the dog. I follow each client’s care instructions closely, communicate proactively if questions come up, and keep clients updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
