About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember, starting with Ginger, my family's German shepherd and husky mix, and four cats growing up. I later spent about two years volunteering at my local SPCA, working hands-on with dogs of every size and temperament, from bouncy puppies to nervous rescues. I've also had cats of my own as an adult, including two rescues, and fostered kittens before I started traveling. Since then I've cared for pets through farm stays and housesits across Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, and Canada — dogs, cats, chickens, goats, even an adult pet rat. I'm comfortable administering medication, working with anxious or senior animals, and managing multi-pet households. I'm calm, attentive, and treat every home and animal I look after like my own. I'm currently transitioning to the San Mateo County area temporarily starting early November and building my schedule around pet care full-time, so I have plenty of flexibility for house sits, and daily visits, including extended or last-minute stays. I don't currently have a conflicting 9-to-5, which means I can commit fully to a pet's normal routine for the length of a booking rather than fitting care in around other work. Since I focus on house sitting, I stay at your home rather than asking your pet to adjust to a new environment. I follow feeding, medication, and walking routines exactly as instructed, keep the house clean and secure, and send regular photo updates so you can relax while you're away. I don't bring other pets into the home, so your animal gets my full attention for the whole stay.

She not only respected that—she exceeded every expectation. A big part of my dog’s happiness is her walks, and Kristin took her on long, frequent walks every day. Just as important—if not more—is her feeding routine, which is central to her happiness. She has four main meals per day, plus a small supper and treats in between. I typically combine meals with training and play, and Kristin followed this routine exactly and with great care. Kristin truly engaged with my dog—playing with her both indoors and outdoors, grooming her, and even having her sleep in bed with her at night. She also sent me photos every day, which gave me complete peace of mind. She went above and beyond in ways I did not expect—she even bought my dog a new toy and a bag of treats, which says a lot about how much she genuinely cares. I returned to an exceptionally happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for dog. My dog is very perceptive, and it was immediately clear that she had formed a strong bond with Kristin—they were practically inseparable during the stay. On top of that, the house was left very clean and in perfect condition, with everything exactly as I left it. I would trust Kristin again without hesitation and highly recommend her.”

It was a long time for us to be away, especially from a pup with separation anxiety and health issues that require medication multiple times a day, so we needed someone truly exceptional. Kiana was even better than that! She is incredibly detail oriented and follows every instruction with care. Our house was clean and well looked after. But what really sets Kiana apart is how deeply she cares. Knowing our dog struggles with new people and stressful transitions, she not only came for an initial meet and greet but proactively offered to visit again so he could feel completely comfortable before the long stay. Throughout her time with him, she sent photos and updates that showed just how relaxed and happy he was. About: Hi folks, I’m Hannah. My pets are a part of my chosen family. They each have their own quirks, preferences, attitudes, and personalities. I’d be honored to bring your furry family member into our lives! I’ve had many different pets over the last 20 years: parakeets (Lucy and Ricky), gerbils (Louis and Clark), dogs (Lilly, Iggy, Olive, Stella, Dexter, Pearl), and cats (Charlie, Baby Boy). We love to walk and hike throughout the bay area, run the beach, teach tricks, sunbathe in the yard, play with the very many (too many!) toys strewn about our house, and cuddle in front of the fire pit. I’d love to know more about your pet to ensure they are safe and happy and that I’m providing the best kind of care catered to them. Are they shy? Friendly? Aloof? Nervous? Mischievous? Do they need a little more love to make sure they are comfortable? How many daily walks is ideal for their energy level? Do they get specific meals and meds to protect their health? Do they have a history of reactivity? Favorite spot for scritches? Etc. I’m also happy to provide specific care based on their needs, senior pups and cats welcome! I am also open to working out a pick up and drop off schedule if that is something you’re interested in. We have a lovely fenced yard for our pups to run around and frolic in, as well as a doggy door so they can go out at their leisure. I like to take my dog on 2 walks a day (gotta check their pee-mails!) and there is a dog park within walking distance of our house should your pup prefer to run around freely. I do not crate my dog, so if that is in your routine, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Connie was quick to respond from the first Facetime meet, through our entire trip. About: Hello! New boarding clients: shorter stays are preferred, especially during the work week. Before I jump into things about me - while I would love to hang out with all of the dogs forever, I prefer shorter stays, especially during the work week, and longer stays are OK but preferably over the weekend. The higher energy pups during the work week will have me fetch hostage, taking meetings from my bedroom floor 🥲 you are still more than welcome to message me about a longer stay, but please understand why I may not be available. I am also *very allergic* to cats. Drop ins with them may be OK, but I won't be able to stay with them, lest we want me to suffocate 😆 the other problem is I can't resist touching them, but I acknowledge that's a me problem so it's sometimes best to remove temptation entirely. I have been a dog owner for the last 11 years. I’ve owned a pomeranian, a senior lab mix, and within the last year my family brought in a weiner dog. Ages and health requirements have varied. I just lost my 11 year old pomeranian to bladder cancer in July 2023. The last year of his life was spent taking him to chemo treatments, giving him several daily medications, treating daily symptoms, many sleepless nights and 3am walks, and so much more, but I wouldn’t change the last year with him for anything in the world. I absolutely love dogs and am joining Rover because I miss having a dog but am nowhere near ready to love like that again, but I’d love to care for your dog! My old pom man went almost everywhere with me; hikes through the redwoods, 3 hour long walks, 3 hour long bench sitting / people watching, the beach, Alice's restaurant, crepe vine A little bit about me: I work in Operations at a law firm in San Leandro and live in Foster City. I’ve been in clean tech since 2011, and you can find me on LinkedIn if you would like additional information about my work history. You can expect many pictures of your pup out and about with me 😁 and if I'm lucky, maybe a pic or two of us wearing cowboy hats I have a hybrid work set up, where I can work from home or work from the office at my own discretion and schedule. I can accommodate pet care throughout the day and evening depending on your pet's needs. My office is also pet friendly, depending on doggy behavior. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Foster City, 2 blocks away from a park. Your dog would have access to my whole apartment (unless your dog is used to it, I prefer not to enforce crating or separate rooms for them). I also have a sliding glass dog door that leads to a balcony. My senior dog used to use puppy pads on our balcony throughout the evening as his bladder tumor grew, so if your dog requires something similar that's perfectly fine.

I am also a kitty lover, as I have an American- short hair female named Moose who I adore. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of time on my hands. I frequently go on walks and hikes around my neighborhood so having a dog with me is always nice. I would love to come watch your fur babes and stay at your home, since I am unable to have pets stay at mine. About: I’ve taken care of dogs as well as homes for weeks. The most recent one was very fun they had a small older male dog that just loved a lot of attention and would sleep a lot. I have also walked and hiked dogs. I only do school and soccer. I have school two times a week and basically have a practice everyday but other than those activities I’m usually home. I am very caring of my own pets as well as others. I am always making sure a dog always has water and is never too cold or hot. I think it’s important to keep a dog on a routine.
