Pet Sitting in Pescadero

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and exotic animals for families and neighbors for over 8 years. This ranges from home check-ins, trips to the vet, and overnight pet sitting. I have two cats at home and share custody of an English lab with my ex-boyfriend. New graduate in between jobs. Availability for the month of May/June is open. I do my best to accommodate all hours and needs for clients. I understand that a pet's home and environment are crucial. At home, I make sure my cats always have access to their food and water, litter boxes, and places for them to lounge :)

“Taryn was awesome! We were traveling to Pescadero for the day, with my daughter, son in-law and grandpuppies, but didn't want to leave them in the car while we had lunch and walked the town. Taryn met us at the restaurant and took the dogs to a nearby play area. She was on time, professional, and so caring with the pups. There human mommy was nervous to leave them, but felt comfortable with Taryn. We had a relaxing lunch, and the pooches came back happy and tired! Thanks Taryn for your professionalism, it added so much to our special day.”

About: Animal care is not a second job or a "gig" for me, it is my entire focus. When I am with your beloved friend I will be "with" them and engaged. As a Pisces, I experience animals as filled with a divine spirit much like people are, and they deserve my undivided attention. I have trained dogs, cats, and horses and have been privileged to care for many senior pets over the years. I can give pills, shots, and sub-Q fluids. I make special foods and treats. I have a delicious venison jerky your dog might like, and working on a salmon one for the cats! For walks and drop-ins I am very flexible time wise. Early morning to early evening, all good. For sitting, I CANNOT currently accept overnights. I can visit your pets several times a day, from early morning to late at night. But cannot "sleep over" with them as I have my own dogs that need my attention at night. In a client's home I carefully follow the directions and preferences of the owner. I take notes and make sure to get things right. I and am always respectful of their privacy. And of course I send pictures and videos! In my own home, I have a doubly fenced property. A fence around the terrace keeps dogs in, and a fence around the 2-acre property keeps totally contained. With cats they would never go outside, at my home.

“Tillana is the best!!! She took amazing care of our two cats while we were away for vacation. Because of her, we fully enjoyed our Christmas vacation without worrying about our cats at home. Even though we put in the request at the last minute, she asked great questions beforehand, and closely communicated with us during her first visit so that she could quickly get to know our cats on a short notice! She is energetic, detail oriented, patient and truly cares about the fur babies! She always shares updates with great details and sends us lots of videos and pictures! Our older cat Luna has some skin issues and needs ointment twice a day. I was worried at first since Luna is usually very shy to strangers and wouldn’t let other people pet/touch her easily. Tillana really went above and beyond, spending time bonding with our cats, and was able to give Luna medicine with no problem! Both of our kitties started to get cuddly within just a couple of visits! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we will definitely come back to Tillana next time we are away. About: I have grown up my whole life with big dogs in the house, and have been watching (and loving) dogs for around a decade. Whether walking and watching my own, neighbors, or family friends- I have gained a lot of experience over the years. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, dogs with disabilities, and puppies over the age of 11 months (including untrained). I have experience with overnight house-sitting for up to 4 animals at a time, and dogs with disabilities (as my eldest dog (Maverick) is blind in one eye). Back when I was in middle school I had two yellow labs: Barney & Zoey, and now have 2 yellow labs Maverick (13) & Indy (4). Since my family has always rescued our dogs, sometimes this can come with dogs from situations that have left them with lasting anxiety or behavioral issues. From this, I have learned so much in regards to building trust with dogs, respecting their boundaries, and establishing a safe and comfortable environment for them. In my free time I am a marathon runner, yoga sculpt instructor, and love to hike- so I am always super hyped for a long walk, and getting my steps in with a furry friend! I am super flexible on last minute bookings on weekends, and am available for drop-ins and house sittings when needed! Currently I am a full time student, but I have availability all weekends, MWF from 9-10am, 11-1pm, and all hours after 3:30pm and flexible on T/Th! About: I been dedicating quality time tu furries they deserve all attention and love. Specially when they suffer from anxiety. I bee here to support and be there for your furry. I am full time dedicating to furries. I have a yard house with a really flexible door always open. Pets are able to go out any time I am always around with pets. With there meal depends on how pet is set at home. I make sure your furry stay as simple as they are at there own home. I due 2 to 3 walks a day depends on pets owners and on pets energy. I have a fence yard house wishing really safe. Pets are allowed to be on furniture and in beds I also have pets sleep on my bed if they feel like missing home. I make sure pets stays safe and super comfortable.
