“We had Esmeralda visit and feed our two older cats while we were away, coming once a day. This was our first time with Esmeralda and we are happy with the results. She asked good questions during the meet and greet, and she left our home neat and tidy. I left pretty detailed instructions on feeding and garbage disposal and she followed them well. Our cats are very shy, so she did not have a lot of interaction with them. It looks like one of the cats let Esmeralda get near him towards the end of her visits. The one slight criticism I have is that while she checked off the jobs that she did during each visit she did not write a progress report, such as the cats ate all of their food, or Ray let me pet him.”

About: My family and I adopted our pug mix named Munchi back in 2013-14 from Pets In Need before she passed in August 2026 at age 17. Growing up with our dog for the last ten years taught me the ins and outs of what it looks like to take care of a pet. I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months from October 2025-May 2026 for dogs and cats. I also have been riding and working around horses since I was 5. I am familiar with how to approach animals safely and provide a loving and caring environment. I will treat your pet like my own. I understand building trust, honoring their personal boundaries, and adapting to their comfort zone. Having walked alongside my very own dog through their adulthood and senior life, I was able to recognize subtle shifts in joint pain, mobility, and appetite changes. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or likes to be a couch potato, they’ll be treated with same kind of warmth, love, and dedication I gave my own. I’m currently working as a Ranch Hand at a local ranch in Portola Valley part time on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I’m also actively looking for a second part time job to be able to make ends meet. I just adore dogs and would love to pursue pet care on the side as I love being around animals. I would always make sure to attentively listen to you for specific needs regarding your pet. I know no one knows your pet better like you do. I know every dog is different and has a different daily routine. I’ll take the time to thoroughly get to know you and your pet whether that means your pet is on a strict diet, needs to take a specific medication, has a specific walking schedule or any specific quirk.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life I’ve had at least one dog since the age of 5. I have three dogs and a cat that I’m deeply obsessed with. I’ve been the ‘family dog sitter’ for years now, i recently started branching out and sitting, walking and doing drop in visits for family friends and recommendations. I’ve been working from home for over 10 years now. I’ve been using rover for a few years as well and I truly understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust your whole whole world with and the stress that may come with that .i can assure you I treat all the animals I sit with the same love and attention I give my own animals. I’ve been working from home for over 10 years now to be honest my schedule revolves a lot around my dogs! My daughter is older and in high school leaving me with plenty of spare time to walk, do drop ins and board your pups. I do live in a condo so I take my pups out for potty breaks. I am extremely big on dog safety, I’ve had a husky for 10 years and she’s a runner! I’m very mindful and careful of walking dogs around my condo. We have plenty of very quiet safe streets and there’s a beautiful dog park right around the corner. For clients home visits I’m happy to walk your pup for potty breaks or supervise them if they have a yard. I take two of my dogs on hikes to pulgus ridge in San Carlos a few times a week and I’m always happy to bring along the dogs I’m minding if they’re up to the hike!

About: I don’t have problem taking caredogs. My friends and family used to relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. I’m currently working part-time and it’s manageable, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups I’m available boarding especially weekdays 7am onwards. My place is a free space for one dog at time especially to trained dog I dont do much restriction so dog can move and play around, I live close to lake in foster city and its so easy access to walk the dog any time in a day.
