“Ivan was wonderful with our Bernadoodle! He sent a ton of photos and I felt super comfortable knowing our pup was loved and cared for while we were away. I highly recommend Ivan and plan to have Summit stay with him again in the future.”

“Rachael and her partner were nothing short of amazing with our dog Indy. Indy was instantly relaxed when he arrived for the night at Rachael’s, and had a lovely evening of cuddles and play with Rachael and her “crew”. Her dog and kitty were equally as welcoming to Indy! The picture updates were amazing and unexpected, and I could tell Indy was incredibly comfortable for his overnight stay. 10/10 recommend Rachael, and we will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Katie and Jason are great dogsitters (and super friendly humans in general)! They took great care of our pup Kiwi, who can be anxious and slow to warm up to people, and they understood that Kiwi needs to go at her own pace. Upon handoff, they immediately took her for a quick walk around the block which helped ease the transition, and by that evening, Kiwi was comfortable and asking for pets. Katie and Jason are quick to respond and kept us updated with both many adorable photos and brief recaps of walks or fun things that happened in the home. They accommodated our late pickup time with no fuss and had everything prepared: the bowls were washed and dried, and the blanket was folded. Highly recommend these two! Kiwi would love to stay with them again. Thanks Katie and Jason!”

“Martina was great! She followed up to everything very quickly and sent pics and updates of our dog often. You can tell that she loves dogs. She even got teary eyed when giving us our dog back! We will definitely use her for future dog sitting needs!”

“We were incredibly lucky to find Michael. Mateo is a high-energy, reactive Aussie Labradoodle puppy, and Michael was the perfect match. Mateo stayed with him for six days and received daily walks/runs, structure, and amazing care. Michael’s communication was outstanding — daily updates, photos, and even activity stats. I honestly wondered who was on vacation, me or Mateo! Michael is professional, reliable, and truly knowledgeable. He noticed a possible ear infection, shared helpful advice, and even offered to take Mateo to our vet. When I mentioned Mateo had missed grooming, Michael offered to take him to his groomer as well. Even when Mateo had a classic puppy moment and chewed up a pair of their expensive shoes, Michael and his wife were nothing but gracious and kind. Michael genuinely goes above and beyond. We will absolutely use him again and are already recommending him to other dog owners.”

“Kaia had a nice overnighter with Nina and Leo, where she got long walks and lots of pets. This was a get-to-know-you stay for both sides, and we're looking forward to booking a longer-term visit.”

“Pouneh was wonderful with Huichol. She clearly picked up on his personality quickly, he's smart and energetic and needs both stimulation and affection, and she delivered on all fronts. He came home happy and well-loved. Would book again without hesitation.”

“Mario is amazing! It was our first time boarding Mocha (our 6 months pup), so needless to say, we were very nervous with how it would go. Mario sent pictures everyday and she looked like she was having so much fun with the other dogs and laying on the beach. By the time we came to pick her up, she looked very happy and acted nothing out of the ordinary. We're definitely going to come back to Mario if and when we need to board her in the future. Thank you!!”

“Thank you so much for taking good care of my cat! Friendly, good communication, and a real love for pets! I could tell Kit was happy and content with you. Thanks a million!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Our dog was really happy during his stay and Edward seemed equally happy to spend time caring for him. Edward was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and provided many photos of their adventures.”

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog, super attentive and clearly cared a lot. She took him out on hikes and kept me updated with plenty of photos, which I really appreciated. He came back happy and relaxed. Would happily book with her again.”

“Alissa is so great! She took such a great care of my needy dog and I could tell he loved her from day one 😅 she was providing me with the updates daily and was so flexible and friendly. I’ll definitely leave my dog with her again next time when I need to travel somewhere. Highly recommended!!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“James and Jasmine are hands-down the best dog sitters we’ve ever used. They are incredibly professional and took the time to understand Toby’s specific routine and needs. It was clear from the start that they genuinely love dogs and treated our Toby as their own. They were super reliable and kept us up to date with Toby's activities and sent us daily pix -- they truly went above and beyond to make sure Toby was comfortable and happy. We will definitely be booking them again! Thanks again guys!”

“Manli took very good care of Pacho when I went on a trip for 9 days. She provided photos everyday and Pacho looked like he had so much fun! Highly recommend 🐶🐾”

“Annie is a dedicated animal lover! My dog Scooby usually hates people, but after a week of boarding with her he already grew to love her. She sends so many pictures and videos and is very insightful and knowledgeable about dogs and their peculiar behaviors. She seems to understand Scooby completely! Annie is super responsive. I definitely recommend booking her 🥰”

“My dog loves Anne because she’s so caring and loving to him and made him feel so comfortable just like in his own home. I would highly recommend Anne and will definitely leave my dog with her again.”

“Irina was a fantastic dog sitter for our Sophie! She clearly loved her, and we could tell Sophie was happy and well cared for the whole time. Irina sent lots of updates, which gave us great peace of mind. We’d happily book her again and highly recommend her!”

“Alexa took wonderful care of Mugsy! Before our stay she made time for a meet and greet to ensure it was a good fit. She was very communicative throughout the process and Mugsy’s stay with her. We got lots of pictures and updates which gave us peace of mind. Mugsy came home a happy dog!”

About: Hi! I'm Deborah, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 20 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I've had dogs since I was a child and have fostered multiple litters of puppies over the years. Whether it's a playful pup, a senior dog needing a little extra TLC, or a house full of furry friends, I treat every pet like family. With decades of hands-on experience, you can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I understand how important it is to feel confident and at ease when someone is caring for your pet and home. That’s why I always provide updates, photos, and stay in close contact so you know your pet is safe and happy. I’m here to make sure your pets are comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet you and your pets! I have plenty of experience and time on my hands to spoil your furry family members. I can accommodate all types of personalities and health issues. I can care for pets in your home. I have a flexible schedule so lets talk about what your pets need. Happy to set up a zoom call for a first time meet and greet.
“We had Esmeralda visit and feed our two older cats while we were away, coming once a day. This was our first time with Esmeralda and we are happy with the results. She asked good questions during the meet and greet, and she left our home neat and tidy. I left pretty detailed instructions on feeding and garbage disposal and she followed them well. Our cats are very shy, so she did not have a lot of interaction with them. It looks like one of the cats let Esmeralda get near him towards the end of her visits. The one slight criticism I have is that while she checked off the jobs that she did during each visit she did not write a progress report, such as the cats ate all of their food, or Ray let me pet him.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life and have experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. Living in a multi-cat household taught me how to recognize individual needs, respect boundaries, and build trust with each cat. From feeding and litter box care to playtime, companionship, and keeping routines consistent, I understand that every cat is unique. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Anna was so sweet with my puppy. She spent some time with her and even went the extra mile trying to get her to sleep before she left. She did a meet and greet the day before hand which was nice of her. Would definitely reach out again for a check in!”

“Deborah was super friendly to me and my two cats. She agreed to FaceTime me before I booked so I can see how comfortable I was with her and to see her home. We discussed moving plants so the cats wouldn’t get sick and she was very patient and kind as I gave feeding directions and so on. She was also very patient, as my cats are quite energetic. I recommend Deborah for boarding!”

About: Our house always had a cat or two as I grew up. A home doesn’t feel like a home until a cat lives there. As an adult, I’ve kept two brother cats since they were kittens and seen them through many adventures including injuries, routine vet visits, basic cat training, leash walking, and even a skunk incident. I’ve provided daily medications and subcutaneous fluids for my senior cats and for a friend’s cat as well. I’ve helped socialize foster kittens and checked in on neighbor’s cats and have stayed overnight for several days to watch over a friend’s senior cat.
“Amber seems trustworthy and conscientious, and she is an excellent dog sitter. One of my dogs is sweet, but also high-energy and not always a good listener. In no time, Amber gently coaxed him into behaving quite well. He was even behaving better for me after her visit. She also paid attention to my quieter dog,, who sometimes gets overlooked.”

“Our cat is very anxious and not easy to deal with, but Melissa put a lot of effort into building trust with him and making him feel comfortable while we were away. We really appreciate her patience, attention and care!”

“Lehna was a fantastic cat sitter, my cats loved her and she took great care of them. They warmed up to her immediately and she was extremely thorough and communicative throughout the entire week. Thanks again, Lehna!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for cats and have consistently pet sat for family and friends. I currently have a 9-year-old black cat named Peter, and I’m especially skilled at understanding feline behavior and building trust. I’m very comfortable with all types of cats, including shy, anxious, or more independent personalities. I respect their boundaries, read their cues, and adjust my approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also volunteered for 7 years at the Humane Society SPCA, which strengthened my ability to care for animals with a wide range of temperaments and needs. I provide reliable, attentive care and follow your cat’s routine closely, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and companionship. I also send regular updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Chelsea sent great pictures of my cat! It felt great to see a variety of pics so I had an idea of how she was interacting with the cat. They looked very cozy together, which was heartwarming.”

“Cordigen D always is super flexible and is able to come at specific times to make sure my cat is in the house. She’s kind and my cat clearly loves her. I always get her when I travel. She’s the best.”

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! About: I love dogs and want to help with yours! I've cared for pups on Trusted Housesitters, for friends and have fostered many dogs. I'm still in the process of figuring out what type of dog would work best for me one day. Until I get my own pet, I want to help you take care of your furry friend! Part of my earnings will also go to local rescues. If you're interested in fostering, please let me know and I'll connect you with my favorite local rescues! I work from home and need to go on walks and take breaks. So would love to go on walks with your pet or have a furry friend to visit when I'm off duty. For housesitting, I can work from home at your place. Housesitting includes a 30 minute daily walk and potty breaks. If you need a longer walk for your pet, I will modify the pricing. For doggy day care, if you have a non-shedding dog who is potty trained, I'm happy to have a co-working buddy while I work from home if your dog doesn't like being alone. Plus, I'll have a reason to take a break and go outside! For boarding services, I will care for your dog if you can meet my same criteria above for doggy day care.
About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
About: As a fellow dog parent, I know just how important it is to find someone who'll love your pup like their own. I've learned so much from raising my sweet Cavapoo over the past 4 years - including navigating separation anxiety and training challenges with help from the awesome folks at Cali K9 and Zoom Room. All these experiences have made me a patient, understanding caregiver who knows every dog is uniquely special. Your furry friend will have a blast joining us for adventures in our local parks and trails, where we keep tails wagging with plenty of fun and positive reinforcement. I've had the joy of caring for many pups with different personalities, and I always make sure each one feels safe, happy, and right at home with us. Let's give your dog the loving attention they deserve! I'm thrilled to share what a typical day would look like for your pup! I've marked my calendar to show the days I'm home and fully available to focus on caring for your dog. Since I work from home on these days, I'm here to give your furry friend lots of attention and care. We follow a fun routine that includes at least three energetic walks daily, plus plenty of playtime with our collection of toys to keep everyone happy and engaged! I do pop out briefly for my gym sessions, but I'll always keep you in the loop about my schedule. Your dog will never feel lonely - they'll be right by my side throughout the day, getting all the love and attention they deserve! I maintain a clean, pet-proofed apartment where your furry friend can relax without any worries. For bedtime, I have a dedicated crate in the study where my dog sleeps, and I have an extra crate available if your pup is crate-trained - though they're also welcome to find their comfy spot anywhere in the apartment! Safety is my top priority, so I take extra precautions like always keeping doors securely locked and making sure the apartment is tidy and free of anything that could be harmful. When we head out for walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood, your pup will always be properly leashed, and I even use special light-up collars for our evening strolls. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in a secure, peaceful environment with someone who takes their safety seriously
“Ava dogsat our dog Tequila and was absolutely wonderful! Tequila had a great time with Ava and her dog Ginger, and Ava kept us updated with photos throughout the day. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Lawrence and his gf are sooo amazing with my Milo. I recently moved to San Mateo and was looking for a new rover. Even though we had great rovers in our previous city, Milo was still always a little hesitant when dropped off. I was so surprised today when he jumped out of the car off leash and excitedly ran to her! I can tell he is taken care of well and he feels loved/safe there. Also sooo amazing that we get constant videos and updates throughout the day!”

“Alexandra and her family are amazing with our corgi Olive. She has been going for daycare and always comes back happy and tired after a long day of playing. We love all of the photo updates that Alexandra sends throughout the day. She is kind and a great communicator!”

“Alissa was so sweet! She accommodated our last minute booking due to an urgent need and I felt so lucky that we found her! She also took amazing pictures of my dog ?❤️ We'd have definitely gone to Alissa again if we didn't move out of Seattle. Highly recommended!”

“Esmeralda is wonderful with our golden retriever! She is calm, attentive, and engaging, gets in sync with his personality, and lets him enjoy being outside for an adventure, read the daily doggie news or just hang out listening to music. She is a professional when it comes to her canine care so we are confident when we leave our pup with her. Thank you Esmi!! 😁”

“Venora is highly professional, responsible, and always on time. Comes across as a caring, empathetic person. She bonded with my dogs very quickly. She is definitely someone we would use as the need arises. I can unequivocally recommend her as an excellent dog walker.”

About: Hi! I’m Taryn! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with a lifelong love for animals — especially rescues. Over the past 13 years, I’ve owned and cared for three very different dogs (a chihuahua, dachshund mix, and shepherd mix), so I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. I’m comfortable adjusting care based on your dog — whether that means a short, gentle walk for a senior pup or a long, active outing to burn energy. I also have hands-on experience with dogs who have leash or food aggression, and I always approach care with patience, awareness, and respect for each dog’s comfort level. As of 6/1/2026 I have a Certificate of Completion from the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid (online) In addition, one of my dogs, Shadow, has seizures, so I’m familiar with staying calm in high-stress situations, monitoring for symptoms, and providing attentive, responsive care when it matters most. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who has extra needs. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs of all sizes and breeds — from small terriers to larger dogs like pit bulls — and feel confident handling a wide range of temperaments. I’m happy to provide: • Walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Feeding and routine care • Medication (depending on type) • Baths and brushing • Calm, attentive care for anxious or special needs pets • Plenty of love and companionship Beyond dogs, I have 20+ years of experience with cats. I’ve volunteered with Homeless Cat Network and fostered for Coastside Feral Care. Fun fact: Every animal I’ve cared for or owned has been a rescue — I have a special place in my heart for them and understand the extra patience and care they sometimes need. ________________________________________ 🐾 Why pet parents choose me • Experience with multiple breeds and temperaments • Comfortable with reactive and special needs dogs • Firsthand experience with seizure care • Cat care expert with volunteer/foster background • Calm, patient, and highly attentive

About: I started by taking care of my moms 4 dogs when she would go on vacations and needed a dog sitter. That really taught me how to feed them efficiently and when to take them outside to go potty. From there I learned how to hang out with them and play with them efficiently. I am a college student with classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I am available for the entire day and night. On Wednesday and Friday I'm available at night, Monday I'm not because I have a night class. Staying over night is not a problem, along with check ins during the days even on school days. I love dogs and am really good at feeding them, taking them outside, and playing with them. I'm not a trainer, but someone who is good at taking care of them while you are away. My mom has 4 small dogs so I'm very familiar with smaller dogs, but I have also watched bigger dogs as well.

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I have a fenced, grassy backyard and a friendly labrador retriever named Sadie who is very sweet and playful and loves having other dogs to play with. We have a doggie door so the pups have day and night access to the backyard to run around and do their business. I can easily crate your dog if that is something you prefer.
“Tillana has taken care of Luca a few times and is always so loving and caring with him! She is also very sweet and kind with us. Luca also gets lots of fun playtime with other good pups! 🐶”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. They’ve always been at the center of my heart and home. My last two, Pinky and Kika, lived long, happy lives (16 and 18 years), and caring for them taught me patience, attentiveness, and a deep appreciation for every stage of a dog’s life. I offer a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and truly cared for, always paying close attention to their routine, comfort, and emotional needs. Whether a dog is playful, shy, or a senior who needs extra gentleness, I treat each one as if they were my own. My husband and I work together to provide a loving and attentive environment for every dog in our care. We focus on helping each dog feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Dogs receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Our home is thoughtfully set up for dogs, with a secure and comfortable backyard that’s easy to navigate. We also live just a short walk from a beautiful creek and nearby nature areas, perfect for calm, enriching walks.
