Deborah came over a week before the trip to meet Ella and myself and touch base with me about some basic needs for her. About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. Depending on the activity needs of your pup, I’m happy to provide daily walks or short runs (1-3 miles). I'm currently taking a gap year so I have plenty of time for your pups! I'm available weekdays and, with advance planning, can provide housesitting through weekends as well. I live in a single family home with three dogs. However, our family dogs like their space, and it is not available for dog boarding.
