About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and pet sitting for families in my community for years. I grew up with cats, chickens, and very large dogs (mastiffs and shepherds), so I’m extremely comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and families throughout the Half Moon Bay, La Honda, and Pescadero areas, I also have professional experience working with animals. For three years I worked with horses in a therapeutic riding program, where I helped care for and rehabilitate former racehorses and support their training to become therapy animals. What sets me apart is how attentive and communicative I am while you’re away. I truly treat the animals I care for like my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I also love sending photo updates and check-ins so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. Caring for your pet fits perfectly into my routine, and I’ll try to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I work almost entirely from home, so I have a schedule that allows me plenty of time during the day for walks, visits, playtime, and check-ins. Because I’ve lived locally in the Bay and coastside all of my life, I’m also familiar with the area and can easily accommodate regular visits or longer stays. I additionally love to take pets out for hikes, shorter walks, and other outtings depending on their energy needs—I love looking after adventurers and home-bodies alike. I’m happy to build my schedule around what works best for your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walk routines and house rules. I can’t lie, I’m a bit of a neat freak! I leave a home better than I found it. I’m attentive on walks, keep pets safely leashed, and make sure gates, doors, and fences are secure and locked upon leaving your home. I also believe communication is paramount while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Debbie took great care of our dog and our house. She communicated anything happening related to the house and sent photos of our dog. Super responsive with the texts too! Our dog is leash reactive and Debbie handled it very well. Will definitely be working with Debbie again!”

About: I have grown up my whole life with big dogs in the house, and have been watching (and loving) dogs for around a decade. Whether walking and watching my own, neighbors, or family friends- I have gained a lot of experience over the years. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, dogs with disabilities, and puppies over the age of 11 months (including untrained). I have experience with overnight house-sitting for up to 4 animals at a time, and dogs with disabilities (as my eldest dog (Maverick) is blind in one eye). Back when I was in middle school I had two yellow labs: Barney & Zoey, and now have 2 yellow labs Maverick (13) & Indy (4). Since my family has always rescued our dogs, sometimes this can come with dogs from situations that have left them with lasting anxiety or behavioral issues. From this, I have learned so much in regards to building trust with dogs, respecting their boundaries, and establishing a safe and comfortable environment for them. In my free time I am a marathon runner, yoga sculpt instructor, and love to hike- so I am always super hyped for a long walk, and getting my steps in with a furry friend! I am super flexible on last minute bookings on weekends, and am available for drop-ins and house sittings when needed! Currently I am a full time student, but I have availability all weekends, MWF from 9-10am, 11-1pm, and all hours after 3:30pm and flexible on T/Th! I also am available in the early morning from 5-8am for a walk or drop-in for all days. Hi! My name is Mila, and I am a third year Undergraduate student in the Bay Area currently studying Economics and Real Estate at Santa Clara University. I am super flexible on means of transportation whether that be a trip to a dog park, a certain park/hike that is your dog's fav, or your own backyard! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests within the environment, allergies or preferences for your dogs- making sure they are happy and comfortable is always my priority! (:
“Kiana stayed at our home for nine days to watch our dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was a long time for us to be away, especially from a pup with separation anxiety and health issues that require medication multiple times a day, so we needed someone truly exceptional. Kiana was even better than that! She is incredibly detail oriented and follows every instruction with care. Our house was clean and well looked after. But what really sets Kiana apart is how deeply she cares. Knowing our dog struggles with new people and stressful transitions, she not only came for an initial meet and greet but proactively offered to visit again so he could feel completely comfortable before the long stay. Throughout her time with him, she sent photos and updates that showed just how relaxed and happy he was. He was genuinely loved and perfectly cared for, and honestly, I think he is bummed now that she is gone! We will absolutely be requesting Kiana’s help again. Highly recommend!”

“Esmeralda was so wonderful with my cat Sona! Sona has some very specific medication needs, and Esmeralda kindly send me a photo every day so I could feel better that Sona had taken her medicine. She was very neat and left my house in really wonderful condition too - would definitely rebook her for future house sitting!”

“I truly can’t say enough good things about Jaime! From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every way. She was incredibly communicative — sending thoughtful updates, photos, and check-ins that gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The biggest testament to her care? I came home to a happy, relaxed fur child who genuinely seemed like they hadn’t even noticed I was gone. That tells me everything I need to know about how loved and comfortable my child felt in her care. It’s not easy trusting someone with your furry family member, but she made it effortless. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter — and I would love to use her again anytime I need support. So grateful to have found her!”

“John did a fantastic job taking care of Fenway and Rosie! He communicated with me daily, sharing pictures and video clips. They were happy and well loved. More over, John left the house in exceptional condition.”

About: I cared for my own dog for 8 years, which gave me a strong foundation in daily routines, exercise, feeding, and understanding a dog’s behavior and needs at different stages of life. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s individual personality—whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and reserved. I’m patient, calm, and detail-oriented, which helps pets feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very reliable and will follow your instructions closely, whether that includes specific feeding schedules, medications, or preferred walking routines. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I take the time to make sure each pet gets the attention, care, and affection they deserve while you’re away. My goal is always to make the experience as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet. I recently graduated from UC San Diego and am currently back home while searching for my first full-time role, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits, and I can easily accommodate different routines and timing needs. Whether your pet needs consistent daily care or more last-minute support, I’m happy to be flexible. Because of my availability, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and not rush visits, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for. I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent, since that helps them feel secure and at ease. I’m attentive during visits and make sure pets are safe at all times, including keeping doors and gates secure, watching for anything unusual in their behavior, and providing updates so you know how they’re doing. I’m also patient and respectful of each pet’s personality and boundaries. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or anxious, I want them to feel comfortable, cared for, and well looked after while you’re away.
“Darya was amazing! She sent me multiple daily updates with photos. The animals loved her right away which was very reassuring and she left my house very clean and even stripped the sheets! I will be using her again.”

About: Hi! I’m Taryn! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with a lifelong love for animals — especially rescues. Over the past 13 years, I’ve owned and cared for three very different dogs (a chihuahua, dachshund mix, and shepherd mix), so I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. I’m comfortable adjusting care based on your dog — whether that means a short, gentle walk for a senior pup or a long, active outing to burn energy. I also have hands-on experience with dogs who have leash or food aggression, and I always approach care with patience, awareness, and respect for each dog’s comfort level. In addition, one of my dogs, Shadow, has seizures, so I’m familiar with staying calm in high-stress situations, monitoring for symptoms, and providing attentive, responsive care when it matters most. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who has extra needs. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs of all sizes and breeds — from small terriers to larger dogs like pit bulls — and feel confident handling a wide range of temperaments. I’m happy to provide: • Walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Feeding and routine care • Medication (depending on type) • Baths and brushing • Calm, attentive care for anxious or special needs pets • Plenty of love and companionship Beyond dogs, I have 20+ years of experience with cats. I’ve volunteered with Homeless Cat Network and fostered for Coastside Feral Care. Fun fact: Every animal I’ve cared for or owned has been a rescue — I have a special place in my heart for them and understand the extra patience and care they sometimes need. ________________________________________ 🐾 Why pet parents choose me • Experience with multiple breeds and temperaments • Comfortable with reactive and special needs dogs • Firsthand experience with seizure care • Cat care expert with volunteer/foster background • Calm, patient, and highly attentive
About: Hi! I’m Dianne, and wherever I go, dogs come with me. I’ve been walking pups and taking them on adventures for years—and I absolutely love it! Whether it’s a peaceful walk around the block or a mini hike to get out some serious zoomies, I’m committed to giving your dog the kind of fun and exercise that leaves them happy, fulfilled, and ready to relax when they get home. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting any new dog bookings. This allows your pup to meet my furry baby and make sure everyone gets along well. To create a safe, happy environment for all the dogs! I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same love and care I’d want for my own. Ask me about my **dog-friendly camping trips** and weekday adventures! If your pup loves exploring, I’d love to bring them along for a safe, exciting time in nature. Let’s give your dog the joy and freedom they deserve. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! 🐶✨ I am working part time at the moment. Whether you need a walk, drop-in, or overnight stay during those days, I’m here and ready to help! I also offer boarding in my upstairs apartment, which includes a cozy space and an open balcony where your dog can safely enjoy the fresh air and breeze. For the more adventurous pups, I offer overnight trips to open areas where dogs can safely run and explore (off-leash, where permitted). These night adventures are perfect for dogs who love nature and benefit from a change of scenery and extra exercise. When your dog joins me on a night trip, they’ll enjoy one of two safe, cozy sleeping options depending on the weather: A tent set up for a peaceful camping night My SUV, where I’ve converted the back seat into a comfortable sleeping space for our trips These outings are safe, supervised, and always centered around your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness.
“Maria is the only person my pets will let in the house. She is wonderful, patient and communicative. We received photos and updates the entire time we were gone. If we go out of town again we definitely know who to call. We highly recommend Maria for all of your pet sitting needs.”

“She answered my last-minute request and took care of our two large German shepherds and one tiny dog perfectly - our dogs immediately fell in love with her, and usually they are an annoying, noisy bunch, but they behaved chill. Thank you so so much for taking care of them and I'd love to ask you to take care of them again.”
