Just as important—if not more—is her feeding routine, which is central to her happiness. She has four main meals per day, plus a small supper and treats in between. I typically combine meals with training and play, and Kristin followed this routine exactly and with great care. Kristin truly engaged with my dog—playing with her both indoors and outdoors, grooming her, and even having her sleep in bed with her at night. She also sent me photos every day, which gave me complete peace of mind. She went above and beyond in ways I did not expect—she even bought my dog a new toy and a bag of treats, which says a lot about how much she genuinely cares. I returned to an exceptionally happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for dog. My dog is very perceptive, and it was immediately clear that she had formed a strong bond with Kristin—they were practically inseparable during the stay. I’ve had many different pets over the last 20 years: parakeets (Lucy and Ricky), gerbils (Louis and Clark), dogs (Lilly, Iggy, Olive, Stella, Dexter, Pearl), and cats (Charlie, Baby Boy). We love to walk and hike throughout the bay area, run the beach, teach tricks, sunbathe in the yard, play with the very many (too many!) toys strewn about our house, and cuddle in front of the fire pit. I’d love to know more about your pet to ensure they are safe and happy and that I’m providing the best kind of care catered to them. Are they shy? Friendly? Aloof? Nervous? Mischievous? Do they need a little more love to make sure they are comfortable? How many daily walks is ideal for their energy level? Do they get specific meals and meds to protect their health? Do they have a history of reactivity? Favorite spot for scritches? Etc. I’m also happy to provide specific care based on their needs, senior pups and cats welcome! I am also open to working out a pick up and drop off schedule if that is something you’re interested in. We have a lovely fenced yard for our pups to run around and frolic in, as well as a doggy door so they can go out at their leisure. I like to take my dog on 2 walks a day (gotta check their pee-mails!) and there is a dog park within walking distance of our house should your pup prefer to run around freely. I do not crate my dog, so if that is in your routine, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly. But my weekends are free and can also watch during night! We can come up with a schedule that works for all of us! I currently live in a spacious apartment and right behind a park. My classes don't require attendance since I use recorded lectures, and I don't work a job, so my schedule is very flexible. I'm also comfortable caring for dogs with extra needs, including giving pills, administering eye drops, and helping with mobility, like assisting senior dogs with stairs, ramps, or getting up and down. I've cared for dogs and cats for neighboring families and friends for many years, so I'm comfortable handling pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. My home is very clean and dog-proofed, and my housing has double doors for extra security. I live off campus and independently, and my schedule is incredibly open and flexible this fall. None of my classes have mandatory attendance, so I watch recorded lectures on my own time, which leaves me with plenty of free time during the week and on weekends. Since I don't work a job, I can hang out with your pets, stick to their routines, and make sure they're taken care of as if they were my own. 🐾🤍 Safety is my top priority. I always double-check locks and gates, follow your feeding, medication, and walking instructions exactly, and keep a close eye on your pets the whole time. I've cared for dogs and cats for family and friends for years, so I know what can go wrong and how to prevent it. My housing has double doors, which adds an extra layer of protection if a pet is prone to bolting or escaping. About: I don’t have problem taking caredogs. My friends and family used to relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. I’m currently working part-time and it’s manageable, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups I’m available boarding especially weekdays 7am onwards. My place is a free space for one dog at time especially to trained dog I dont do much restriction so dog can move and play around, I live close to lake in foster city and its so easy access to walk the dog any time in a day.
