About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and pet sitting for families in my community for years. I grew up with cats, chickens, and very large dogs (mastiffs and shepherds), so I’m extremely comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition to dog and cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and families throughout the Half Moon Bay, La Honda, and Pescadero areas, I also have professional experience working with animals. For three years I worked with horses in a therapeutic riding program, where I helped care for and rehabilitate former racehorses and support their training to become therapy animals. What sets me apart is how attentive and communicative I am while you’re away. I truly treat the animals I care for like my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I also love sending photo updates and check-ins so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. Caring for your pet fits perfectly into my routine, and I’ll try to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I work almost entirely from home, so I have a schedule that allows me plenty of time during the day for walks, visits, playtime, and check-ins. Because I’ve lived locally in the Bay and coastside all of my life, I’m also familiar with the area and can easily accommodate regular visits or longer stays. I additionally love to take pets out for hikes, shorter walks, and other outtings depending on their energy needs—I love looking after adventurers and home-bodies alike. I’m happy to build my schedule around what works best for your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walk routines and house rules. I can’t lie, I’m a bit of a neat freak! I leave a home better than I found it. I’m attentive on walks, keep pets safely leashed, and make sure gates, doors, and fences are secure and locked upon leaving your home. I also believe communication is paramount while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: Hi! I’m Taryn! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with a lifelong love for animals — especially rescues. Over the past 13 years, I’ve owned and cared for three very different dogs (a chihuahua, dachshund mix, and shepherd mix), so I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. I’m comfortable adjusting care based on your dog — whether that means a short, gentle walk for a senior pup or a long, active outing to burn energy. I also have hands-on experience with dogs who have leash or food aggression, and I always approach care with patience, awareness, and respect for each dog’s comfort level. As of 6/1/2026 I have a Certificate of Completion from the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid (online) In addition, one of my dogs, Shadow, has seizures, so I’m familiar with staying calm in high-stress situations, monitoring for symptoms, and providing attentive, responsive care when it matters most. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who has extra needs. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs of all sizes and breeds — from small terriers to larger dogs like pit bulls — and feel confident handling a wide range of temperaments. I’m happy to provide: • Walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Feeding and routine care • Medication (depending on type) • Baths and brushing • Calm, attentive care for anxious or special needs pets • Plenty of love and companionship Beyond dogs, I have 20+ years of experience with cats. I’ve volunteered with Homeless Cat Network and fostered for Coastside Feral Care. Fun fact: Every animal I’ve cared for or owned has been a rescue — I have a special place in my heart for them and understand the extra patience and care they sometimes need. ________________________________________ 🐾 Why pet parents choose me • Experience with multiple breeds and temperaments • Comfortable with reactive and special needs dogs • Firsthand experience with seizure care • Cat care expert with volunteer/foster background • Calm, patient, and highly attentive

I’m a product manager and Airbnb host. I currently work part time. My schedule is flexible and am happy to watch and care for pups as needed. I’m happy to follow the guidelines and rules provided. “Annelliese has been so thorough, in regular contact while we were away, sent greats photos consistently, and full of love for the dogs! So thankful that we’ve found her! Looking forward to leaving our dogs with her again in a couple weeks! Thanks for all your hard work Annelliese!”

“Coralee was absolutely incredible. She was very communicative and sent beautiful pictures. She really understood my sensitive baby, and he warmed up quickly to her and clearly felt comfortable and safe. Coralee also was patient and responsive when our travel plans got disrupted, and kept my baby company much later than we originally planned. I very highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and exotic animals for families and neighbors for over 8 years. This ranges from home check-ins, trips to the vet, and overnight pet sitting. I have two cats at home and share custody of an English lab with my ex-boyfriend. New graduate in between jobs. Availability for the month of May/June is open. I do my best to accommodate all hours and needs for clients. I understand that a pet's home and environment are crucial. At home, I make sure my cats always have access to their food and water, litter boxes, and places for them to lounge :)
“Kiana stayed at our home for nine days to watch our dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was a long time for us to be away, especially from a pup with separation anxiety and health issues that require medication multiple times a day, so we needed someone truly exceptional. Kiana was even better than that! She is incredibly detail oriented and follows every instruction with care. Our house was clean and well looked after. But what really sets Kiana apart is how deeply she cares. Knowing our dog struggles with new people and stressful transitions, she not only came for an initial meet and greet but proactively offered to visit again so he could feel completely comfortable before the long stay. Throughout her time with him, she sent photos and updates that showed just how relaxed and happy he was. He was genuinely loved and perfectly cared for, and honestly, I think he is bummed now that she is gone! We will absolutely be requesting Kiana’s help again. Highly recommend!”

About: A large grassy area in front of the property, several dog beds, dog-friendly neighborhood walks,...ideal for a fun pet overnight stay. I sometimes may have 2 dogs at one time, and 3 would be a rare occasion, though in the past I have had 3 from the same household. I study massage and dog psychology. Dogs who love touch or massages will get plenty of attention. This is a dog-friendly apartment complex with a dog run and a large lawn. Quiet dogs are also allowed on the balcony for fresh air, relaxation, and bird and people watching. About this sitter: I raised two Scottish Terrier litter-mates from puppy-hood and have cared for dogs and cats in their homes or mine for months at a time, and I enjoy walking dogs. I am soft-spoken and very patient. Shy, or sensitive/scared pets often feel comfortable around me pretty quickly. Pets should have joy in their lives so I enjoy giving them extra attention to help alleviate some of the stress when their owners are away. For overnight care at a clients' home, I like to stay as light and self-contained as possible. I'm in this for the love of pets and like to leave as little a footprint as possible! Experience includes: dog owner, cat owner, dog sitting for over 15 different dogs and 4 different cats (up to 6 dogs simultaneously or combo of 2 dogs/2 cats who were housemates). Why I love dog sitting: I made my first dog friend when I was 6 years old. Lalli was a seeing-eye school drop out and the sweetest dog I'd ever met. My aunt already had 2 cats that I loved by that point. I ended up helping a senior dog get past her separation anxiety and she and her folks gained more freedom. About my yard: Large grassy area in front of the house. Dog park nearby with well behaved friendly neighborhood dog regulars. My experience administering oral medication: I have done it and I will do it if a pet is not a biter or scratcher. I cared for 2 dogs during their hospice. I am open to doing that (for animals and humans) at least to help provide respite for the primary caretakers. I am free to spend time with your dogs and/or house sit anytime. Dogs that stay overnight with me will have a day sitter and dog company during the day. I am willing to accept stays longer than one week but we must discuss first to see if my system works for your animals. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park nearby and a large grassy area. I have an afternoon sunning deck, and plan potty breaks every 2-4 hours. Mini-massages and indoor play breaks are available throughout the day between dog naps.
“Maria was a pleasure! I can't recommend her enough. She was kind, professional, very neat, personable, and very responsive. Lots of pictures! She has infectious smile and way about her that made Gigi instantly love her.”

“Shannon was a great and professional petsitter/housesitter! She was ontime, a great communicator, and totally took things in stride when our shiba inu pup got sick last minute, handling his medication pickup and administration while we were gone. She sent us pictures and replied to texts very quickly. She really helped put our mind at ease on our first vacation away from the puppy!”

About: I started by taking care of my moms 4 dogs when she would go on vacations and needed a dog sitter. That really taught me how to feed them efficiently and when to take them outside to go potty. From there I learned how to hang out with them and play with them efficiently. I am a college student with classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I am available for the entire day and night. On Wednesday and Friday I'm available at night, Monday I'm not because I have a night class. Staying over night is not a problem, along with check ins during the days even on school days. I love dogs and am really good at feeding them, taking them outside, and playing with them. I'm not a trainer, but someone who is good at taking care of them while you are away. My mom has 4 small dogs so I'm very familiar with smaller dogs, but I have also watched bigger dogs as well.
“Lisa was an amazing dog sitter and house sitter! She gave us daily updates and photos of our doggo. Seeing that she was with Fonsi throughout the day, playing and snuggling, put our hearts at ease while we were traveling. During the two weeks that we were gone Lisa helped water our plants and even called the city when there was an unexpected sewer problem. She really put her heart into caring for our doggy and our home. We were super lucky to have found her and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I started doing rover after my dog died in February 2025. It was so hard being without him, but getting to be with dogs through rover has been so so helpful! Over the past year, I’ve watched dogs of different breeds and ages and have loved getting to cuddle and play with them! Due to my last dog’s advanced age, I am very good at administering medication and also noticing any kind of sickness. I love to go hiking and if your dog is up to it, would love to take them with me. I used rover for my own dog and know how scary it can be to leave your dog. Safety is my top priority, followed by lots of exercise and love for your pets! And most importantly tons of pictures :) I work hybrid at a job with very flexible hours (in person Tuesdays and Thursdays which is why I can only do shorter sits), so I can always take a break and exercise your dog. I will provide your dog with constant love and attention and as many walks and games of fetch as they could want! I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I will provide your dog with constant love and attention, and will exercise them as much as they like. As a general policy, I do not let dogs under my care interact with other dogs. Even if your dog is great with other dogs, I can never be certain if the other dog might have a trigger, be aggressive, or have a contagious disease. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I love to play games with dogs, take pictures and videos, and go for long walks with them and play fetch (if your dog likes that!) My dog loved to eat anything he could find on walks, so I am very vigilant about ensuring that they don’t eat anything that might hurt their tummy. Because of my last dog’s health issues, I learned about many signs of possible health issues. I used to leave my dog with rover sitters and know how scary it can be to be away from them. Your dog’s safety is my highest priority, followed by them having a good time and getting lots of attention :)
“Iryna was wonderful! She was great either way my dogs, especially my very old and frail girl. She didn’t hesitate at all when we realized the old girl was needing doggie diapers indoors, after we had made the booking. She took wonderful care of them, and was very good about communicating any questions or concerns she had. Would definitely hire her again!”

“Alia was amazing. She provided excellent detailed updates and really knew how to care for my dog who was hesitant about this new visitor. She took care of my baby so well, and when I returned home it was as if I had not left. Dog was calm, house was tidy and Alia had even washed my bed sheets! I will definitely be rebooking on my next trip. Thank you Alia for your sweet, kind and caring time with my precious baby (Lulu). We really appreciate you and look forward to seeing you again.”
