About: Hi! I’m Taryn! I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with a lifelong love for animals — especially rescues. Over the past 13 years, I’ve owned and cared for three very different dogs (a chihuahua, dachshund mix, and shepherd mix), so I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. I’m comfortable adjusting care based on your dog — whether that means a short, gentle walk for a senior pup or a long, active outing to burn energy. I also have hands-on experience with dogs who have leash or food aggression, and I always approach care with patience, awareness, and respect for each dog’s comfort level. As of 6/1/2026 I have a Certificate of Completion from the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid (online) In addition, one of my dogs, Shadow, has seizures, so I’m familiar with staying calm in high-stress situations, monitoring for symptoms, and providing attentive, responsive care when it matters most. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a pet who has extra needs. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs of all sizes and breeds — from small terriers to larger dogs like pit bulls — and feel confident handling a wide range of temperaments. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs over the last 13 years - from labradors to terriers and puppies to seniors. I would love to watch and care for your pup! “Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I have been around dogs and cats all my life, with an occasional bird or rabbit. I love all animals. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and exotic animals for families and neighbors for over 8 years. This ranges from home check-ins, trips to the vet, and overnight pet sitting. I have two cats at home and share custody of an English lab with my ex-boyfriend. New graduate in between jobs. Availability for the month of May/June is open.
