“My Goldendoodle, Livingstone, loves his daycare visits with Daniela and Ronan. They take great care of him, and are extremely accommodating with me. Plenty of photos and videos, and Livingstone ate well and got plenty of outside play time. Thank you both!”

“Stacey has been incredible with our little dog Coco. She has been extremely communicative and sent us lots of pictures during our time away. Coco loved her time hanging out with Stacey’s dogs and having lots of play time. Thank you so much Stacey, we’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Kenny, was very kind. He ensured Poppy was taken care of. I really appreciate the communication videos and photos throughout the day. She seemed happy and wanted to come back everyday, which was a great sign that you enjoyed staying there! Thank you!”

“Florence kept me informed of Dora’s day care activity with many photos. She looks happier and came back happy and healthy as well. Florence gives me good tips how to take care of Dora also. She is great. I’ll definitely return next time.”

About: I grew up in a home with multiple pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. My daughter has been asking for a dog, and while we’re not ready for our own just yet, we truly enjoy welcoming visiting pups into our home and treating them like family 🐕💛 I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have constant supervision and plenty of attention throughout the day. We enjoy daily walks 🐾, playtime 🎾, and lots of cuddles, while always respecting each dog’s unique personality and comfort level. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to follow your dog’s routine closely — whether that’s feeding schedules, special diets, walk preferences, or exercise needs. My goal is to make your dog feel happy and at home while you’re away.

About: Love caring for pets of kinds. I have experience with cats, dogs and reptiles. Skilled with senior pets. I am available for walking, check ins and over night visits. I’m currently available mornings, afternoons, and evening. Any time your sweet fur baby needs! I can take them on day adventures, keep them company where they are comfort, or just sit with them. Whatever they need may be. I am reliable, caring and compassionate. I have skill with senior pets and pets with anxiety. Whatever is needed I can do. Scout, Coco, Winston, and Luna can attest

About: I volunteer with Furry Friends Rescue, so I’m used to all kinds of dogs. Real hands-on rescue experience means I’m comfortable with different temperaments and needs. I pay attention to behavior, stick to routines, and adjust to each dog so they feel secure and understood. I treat every animal like they’re my own and focus on keeping them calm, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.😇 Pet care fits in great! I can do drop-in visits, walks, or playtime on weekdays after 2pm, and I’m totally flexible for weekend boarding or overnight stays if you need it. I love spending real time with the animals, not just rushing in and out. I have a fenced backyard, so your pets can run around safely at my place. I make sure they’re comfortable, get plenty of exercise and attention, and I’ll crate them if that’s what they’re used to or if I need to step out. At your home, I follow your exact routine: feeding, walks, any special rules and I’ll send updates and pics so you know everything’s good!!
“I've hired Michael as my dog sitter twice now, and both times my dog came back all "pooped" from the long walks and play time, she basically went to bed as soon as we got home haha! He also sent me quite a few pictures and updates during my dog's stay which helped keep me worry-free (I tend to get a bit anxious when hiring a new pet sitter, but he did not disappoint !)”

“Andrew was fantastic. We were a little nervous about taking her to a sitter since she is pretty nervous but Andrew did a great job taking care of her. We also appreciated all of the pictures he sent us through the day. We look forward to returning again soon!”

“Super sweet family! Our dog was raised with a toddler so it was nice to have kids for her to be with since we don't have any of our own. Normally our dog is nervous about new places. She ran into the house like it was her own. Angela was patient with me being this was our very 1st Rover experience. I had a lot of issues with the website. Kangwoong took care of JuJu as soon as she rushed through the door to play with their daughter. The updates were timely as if Angela could tell when I was missing our little pup. And the whole family came to say goodbye when it was time to leave. Small gestures that mean a lot! She must have had a good day as she slept on the ride home & passed out a little before her usual bedtime in a deep sleep. This morning she woke up on her back stretched out basically saying, "I am living a good life!" She seemed very happy with her stay & she was the right amount of tired. Thank you so much to the entire family for making our first experience an awesome one!”

“Our lab puppy Bella had a great time with Alice! Bella enjoyed her stay playing with the dogs. Alice provided us with photo and video updates throughout the day. We felt that she was kind and loving and we would be happy to send Bella back again. We highly recommend her!”

“Great communication, sent pics of our pup throughout the day. Met us at a convenient spot much closer to our campground to make it easier on us. Flexible timeframe. Great first experience with a dog sitter.”

About: Hi! I work from home and have flexibility to watch another dog from time to time. My pup is a golden retriever adopted last year, she is very friendly and knows how to give older dogs their space and has been exposed to younger puppies which she also does well with. I have a perfect backyard for fetching, sniffing and sunny 😎 naps. Doggies of all sizes and ages are welcome. I have lot of toys, pet beds, grassy areas in my home. I also have a large pet friendly car, ready to help with drop off and pick ups if needed. I have flexibility to watch your pup during weekdays and weekends. I have many pet beds and can also provide a crate if needed.
About: I work from home so your dogs will be with me most of the time. I have a three year old mini schnauzer whom I adopted when she was a puppy so I am familiar with dog care. I typically took my dog out twice a day for a 30-40 mins long walk as well as a short potty break in the middle of the day. I work from home so I will be able to care for your dog while you are away. My household includes two kids (age 10 and 12) who also love dogs and a a three year old Mini Schnauzer named Jigglypuff. Jiggly loves having a playmate I have a fenced yard with spacious lawn to play. I do have a swimming pool without a fence, i don't let my dog out unless I am out in the backyard. Dogs will sleep on their own bed either in the living room/family room or my bedroom. Dogs are allowed on our sofa but not our beds.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 3,130 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Butano Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Butano Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,130 sitters in Butano Park, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
