“Lara is very communicative and easy to work with. One of my dogs is very skittish and slow to warm up with new people, and the other is very large and over exuberant, and Lara has been great with them both. My dogs enjoy her visits and are always quiet and restful throughout the evening when she comes. And I love knowing they're not stuck inside all day. I'll definitely use Lara again.”

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Our dog was in last stages of lymphoma. Aiyana gave her her last gentle walks and was very understanding and supportive about the situation. When we have another dog, we will definitely use Aiyana's services again.”

“Annelliese helped me with a last minute dog walking request for my recently adopted Great Pyr who is dog reactive. I appreciated her kindness and confidence in handling a dog who is still learning manners. She also was extra helpful in showing me how to fit/put on a new harness and giving equipment recommendations. Yeti had a great time on his walk and had a nice long nap after - thanks so much!”

About: Use code SARAD43819 for $20 off your first Rover booking! I have always had pets since I was young. I am a total animal lover and have lots of time throughout the day to take your pup on walks, play fetch, and let them run around our spacious back yard. I now currently have a Mini Australian Shepherd who loves to play with other dogs. I am a part time teacher, so I am free after 12:30 M-F and weekends. For the months of June and July I am available any time during the day/night. Anytime I let pets out in the yard I will be out there with them to ensure they are safe and not getting out of the yard. We have a fairly large, fenced in flat back yard which is perfect for running around or playing fetch. I take my pup on two walks per day, one in the morning and the other shortly before dinner time (that is flexible for whether your dog needs more or less than that). My dog, Cooper, is a 4 year old old energetic and lovable Mini Australian Shepherd mix. He loves to play, but also loves his nap times throughout the day. He gets along with all dogs.
About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life. 1 of my families dogs currently has had a history of being aggressive with other dogs. This has trained me to be very alert and careful while walking him. I’ve learned many tactics in that regard. I also just love dogs and would be so happy to take care of your dog like it’s my own. I take only online classes and then have work for a few hours in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I would be able to make your pet care my priority. I’m very respectful of other people’s space and always make sure to leave someone’s home spotless. I treat your animals like my own, playing, spending time, and caring for them as much as I can. I also am pretty active so I enjoyed taking my own dogs on their daily walks, and would definitely making sure your dogs get one if applicable.
About: What sets me apart from other dog walkers is my personalized, heart-centered approach to every pup I care for. I treat each dog as if they were my own — getting to know their unique personality, energy level, and routine. With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and gentle training to senior dogs who require patience, medication, and a slower pace. I focus on creating a calm, happy experience so your dog feels safe, loved, and excited every time I arrive. Whether it’s a short neighborhood walk or extended care, my goal is always the same — happy dogs, and peace of mind for you. I will work my best at being able to help within your time frames. I am extremely flexible, adaptable and able to make changes when needed I am extremely detailed oriented. I will pay attention to the pets routine and anything you would like me to do with them. I am also available for pet sitting pet transport or anything that you will need for your pet.
About: I started my own dog walking and pet sitting business at eight caring for dogs, lizards, birds, cats and snakes. As an adult, I've worked as a dog trainer, doggy day care host, dog rehabber and in wild life rescue and rehab. I also have experience in trapping and rehabbing feral dogs. I have experience in giving oral medications, subcutaneous shots, as well as a plethora of behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, obedience, resource guarding and more. + I have my own private, insurance independent of Rover. + Every dog is treated as if they are my own. And I am happy to work on behavioral issues. I've successfully integrated several anxious, timid dogs that are normally too fear-prone for adventures into my pack. I work with dogs as a boarder and day care host full time and will spend as much time one on one with your dog as it takes for them to become fully integrated and happy with the pack. I'm a dog behaviorist/trainer who prefers boarding and taking dogs on fun adventures to training sessions. Now that I own my own home, I can make that dream a reality. I do this full time. While I own close to an acre of un-fenced land, there is a secure deck where your dog can play and freely enter and exit the house at will. There's a daily hike for the pack and a park nearby. My home is filled with toys, bones, and dog beds. Unless requested by the owner, I don't crate dogs. They're free to sleep in the bed with me, lounge on the couch, or simply pick the floor. :)
About: I’ve have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I currently have four cats in my home, all healthy adults of 5 years and up that I raised from kittens. Before them, I had a cat for 16 years and a beagle for nine years. As a child, we had multiple dogs and cats. I don’t think there has ever been a time when I haven’t had at least one pet. I am not currently employed so my schedule is very open and flexible nearly every day. Same day appointments are also an option most days. I currently live in an apartment with my partner and four cats. Having a partner in my own home to be with our pets helps me to be more physically and mentally available for my clients, especially for house sitting jobs that may be long term.
“Ulysses was very understanding and helpful when I was trying to figure out the app while teaching and trying to arrange a same day dog walk! Thank you, Ulysses! And most importantly he was great with my 2 big dogs! They both felt instantly comfortable with him, had a great walk and were happy and tired all day afterwards!”
“Heidi walked my two very energetic mini schnauzers, and I couldn't be happier! They came back completely pooped and clearly had a great time. Heidi did a fantastic job, and I appreciate her care and attention. Highly recommend her services!”

About: I’ve been working with animals my whole life, both professionally and personally. I have been a trusted dog sitter for my friends and family for years and have worked closely with Monterey Bay Lab rescue as a foster parent. Over the years I have cared for dogs of all age groups, including multiple litters of puppies. While it could be difficult at times, it was always worth it knowing that the dogs were well loved and going to a good home. I’m excited to be given the opportunity of caring for your pet. With over a decade of experience under my belt I can guarantee the best possible care for your baby! As a college student, my summer schedule is extremely open and flexible. I'm willing to adhere to your needs so I can ensure that your pet is well cared for. When it comes to pet care, the most important thing is trust! In order to form a positive relationship with an animal, it’s important to show them unconditional love and appreciation. If they can’t trust you, then you won’t be able to give them the tools they need to succeed. Similarly, it's important to show the owner that you are a reliable figure by adhering to a strict schedule and actively listening to their pets' needs.
