About: My entire family love animals so I have had a variety of pets throughout my life. I have had fish, a dog, a cat, and a turtle! I love pets and I would love to help others with theirs!!! I dog sit for my family members when they need me to. As a student I have a lot of flexibility in my day to day schedule to take care of pets! My longest classes are an hour and half. I make sure there’s spaces in my schedule to have time to check in on the pets I’m caring for. I care for pets in a very caring way, I am very patient and calm. I try to feel the pets vibe so I match their energy and not overwhelm them. I would say I am also a very playful person if the pet is open to play.

About: I think what sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals and the fact that I truly understand how much they mean to their families. I grew up with a beagle and multiple cats, and now I have two bully breed dogs of my own. Caring for different breeds and personalities has taught me that every pet is unique and deserves patience, understanding, and individualized care. About: Hi, I'm Jamie! I've had up to 4 years of professional dog and catsitting experience and have established great relationships with a few recurring families. I've also grown up around dogs for my entire upbringing and am used to their behaviors, mannerisms, and how to handle them. I've had years of experience as a nanny as well, so I'm well equipped to care for both humans and animals, and how much attentiveness it requires. I have experience with different breeds as well as dogs with different temperaments. (Some with higher energy levels and some more timid and anxious.) I love dogs of all kinds and the playful energy they bring into my life. I consider myself to be a punctual, kind, and responsible individual. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time to squeeze in the time necessary to care for animals. And since I love animals and the outdoor time, caring for them is an easy way to make sure I get to do both of those! I look out for behaviors that indicate when they might be feeling ill, or when they're needing to go outside to use the bathroom. I'll generally know when persistent barking or pawing indicates their hungry, or in need of potty or playtime. Given that I've grown up with dogs, I'm very used to scanning the environment for any potential crumbs or items they might find on the floor and am always checking to make sure doors are shut to prevent wandering.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!
