“Lara is the best! Our little crew was so calm when we returned home, including our scaredy cat. Knowing our cats were getting great attention makes vacation even better, and she has a great sense of humor too. Thank you for being awesome, we hope you’ll have us again in the future! ❤️”

“Aiyana did a great job and I'd happily book again. She was quick with responses during booking, sent me update pics while I was away, and the animals were happy and well when I got home.”

About: I have lived in Boulder Creek with my wife for 11 years with our dogs, so I am familiar with living in the mountains with pets. I adopted our dog Huck from the SFSPCA. I fell in love with him at first sight! I took him to puppy school at Living with Dogs and he became such a sweet friendly dog. About a year later I adopted Mojo from the SFSPCA so Huck would have a little brother to play with. I brought Mojo home and he and Huck immediately became the best of friends. 🐾 I walk my dogs every morning for about 30 minutes in my neighborhood and for a special treat I often take the dogs to a trail. I love making sure they are active and happy. I also have experience walking my friends two high energy heelers. 🐾 Besides my two fur babies I have a Leopard Gecko named Django and he is 17 years old! I also love cats which have always been part of my family. Through the years I have owned and cared for many pets and animals. 🐾 I am a reliable and genuine dog person looking to help others by offering dog walking and drop in visits to care for their dog, cats, or any other pets and animals that need attention and care. 🐾 New to Rover? About: Love taking long walks or just playing in the yard. Have had a Jack Russell puppy who needed lots of attention and training. With outside help and the willingness to learn it was a good relationship. I work full time but can walk a dog in the morning and after work, if close enough lunchtime. Weekends I am available so my schedule is more opened. Cat Care would be the same. Could give the attention they crave. In the clients home, I would listen and be guided by what the pet needs are. With cats I would make sure to give them playtime while on my visit besides making sure they are properly feed.
“Sara was amazing with our three cats when we went out of town. She spent time playing with all of them even our grumpy hard to find kitty. She kept us updated on the weather so we could make sure they kept cool during a surprise heatwave and made sure we knew all the changes in the house while we were gone. I highly recommend her to care for your pets, she truly treats them as her own.”

About: Being around animals is something that brings me joy. I have been around pets my whole life, so I have a lot of experience with many different species of dogs and cats. I currently own one dog and he is just full of personality. I would love to meet your pets and care for them while also being able to see their character. My schedule is pretty open and flexible other than when I am taking care of my own pets, working my part time job, or dealing with college assignments. I would care for pets in clients home by entertaining the pet with toys or treats approved by the owner, I would take the pet out for its routine outside times and overall just have a fun time with the pet
“I trust Ulysses with my fur babies. I can tell they’ve been loved while I’m away. The pictures and videos he sends while caring for my kitties show how much they like him. He even takes my trash can out on garbage day.”

About: I have always had dogs growing up. When I was younger we did have a cat. I was a junior handler and dog trainer for my aunt who bred French Bulldogs for AKC shows. I practiced a little obedience/agility training during the same time. While in this setting I practiced with many different dog breeds and am comfortable handling any size dog. I helped a friend with her dog boarding company for a while and I encountered many different dogs here as well and not all as well trained. I absolutely love all animals I encounter. I love helping friends and family out with their animals while they are away. During college and high school, I would house sit/dog sit for friends. I have been around animals my entire life and I feel comfortable dealing with any situation thrown at me, whether it be a dog that isn't very good on a leash yet or a nervous animal who just needs a patient person to help take care of them while their family isn't there. My family currently has the goofiest labradoodle and Airedale terrier! We have two sweet pups, Gizmo, a poodle terrier, and Mazzy, a french bulldog. I am allergic to cats so while I'm happy to do drop ins and such with cats staying overnight with cats can be very difficult for me so I prefer to not sleep in homes that have cats. I am happy to wake up early and visit frequently if you have cats and dogs that way I can make sure every member of the family stays happy. Can't wait to meet your pups! I will be doing walks with my baby Mira either on my back in a carrier or in a stroller. If your pup isn't kid friendly I won't be a great fit, but I will keep my daughter separate just to keep pups comfortable and my daughter safe. Aleksandra Dooley (Sasha) I am a stay at home mom, so I care for my baby and pups all day. My own pups can't walk more than a block comfortably. My own home is not ideal as I already have two pups and a young baby at home, so I will not be able to accept any more pets into my home.
“Cordigen D always is super flexible and is able to come at specific times to make sure my cat is in the house. She’s kind and my cat clearly loves her. I always get her when I travel. She’s the best.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Redwood Grove
Noemi was amazing with our two shy cats. She took care of them for 3 weeks while we were away. It is very clear that she genuinely loves cats and understands their personalities and boundaries. They both warmed up to her, which says a lot! We appreciated the daily photos and felt completely comfortable knowing our cats were with someone so cat-focused and caring. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to others.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Redwood Grove. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
