About: I have always had dogs growing up. When I was younger we did have a cat. I was a junior handler and dog trainer for my aunt who bred French Bulldogs for AKC shows. I practiced a little obedience/agility training during the same time. While in this setting I practiced with many different dog breeds and am comfortable handling any size dog. I helped a friend with her dog boarding company for a while and I encountered many different dogs here as well and not all as well trained. I absolutely love all animals I encounter. I love helping friends and family out with their animals while they are away. During college and high school, I would house sit/dog sit for friends. I have been around animals my entire life and I feel comfortable dealing with any situation thrown at me, whether it be a dog that isn't very good on a leash yet or a nervous animal who just needs a patient person to help take care of them while their family isn't there. My family currently has the goofiest labradoodle and Airedale terrier! We have two sweet pups, Gizmo, a poodle terrier, and Mazzy, a french bulldog. I am allergic to cats so while I'm happy to do drop ins and such with cats staying overnight with cats can be very difficult for me so I prefer to not sleep in homes that have cats. I am happy to wake up early and visit frequently if you have cats and dogs that way I can make sure every member of the family stays happy. Can't wait to meet your pups! I will be doing walks with my baby Mira either on my back in a carrier or in a stroller. If your pup isn't kid friendly I won't be a great fit, but I will keep my daughter separate just to keep pups comfortable and my daughter safe. About: I work from home so your dogs will be with me most of the time. I have a three year old mini schnauzer whom I adopted when she was a puppy so I am familiar with dog care. I typically took my dog out twice a day for a 30-40 mins long walk as well as a short potty break in the middle of the day. I work from home so I will be able to care for your dog while you are away. My household includes two kids (age 10 and 12) who also love dogs and a a three year old Mini Schnauzer named Jigglypuff. Jiggly loves having a playmate I have a fenced yard with spacious lawn to play. I do have a swimming pool without a fence, i don't let my dog out unless I am out in the backyard. Dogs will sleep on their own bed either in the living room/family room or my bedroom. Dogs are allowed on our sofa but not our beds.

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and currently have a little Shichon named Ruby. We have a smoke free home with a fenced yard and doggie door. We take our pup out for daily walks. I'm home full time unless I'm working in Canada in the healthcare field and so would need to work around that. I usually work 2-3 weeks every 2 months. “I am so excited to have found Kara! Finding a great dog sitter who is comfortable taking my 100 lbs. Newfie mix is no easy feat, let alone one that is local to the SC Mountains! My Leeloo was absolutely spoiled with daily pack hikes in the redwoods and lots of puppy rumbles. Kara even helped work on her off-leash recall! She shared daily videos of their redwood romps and I picked up a very happy, very tired pup. We will definitely be booking with Kara whenever we can't bring our pups with us on trips.”

“Hi, I can tell when my dog was not stressed upon return from a boarding experience and our dog, was happy when no the caring hands of Steve and co. I got regular updates and My dog went on long walks and hikes. He had the company of other dogs and behaved in Steve’s presence- him being a trainer himself. Both the parties felt that it was a good fit - before boarding. Will not hesitate to recommend Steve with a glowing 5-stars!”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”
“Audrina and Donny were amazing! They provided regular updates, were very responsive and too great care of my dog. They were able to keep my very active dog really engaged with regular walks, potty breaks, playing fetch and training him (last two were them going above and beyond). They were very knowledgeable about pet care and had asked me to fill out a questionnaire about my dog and his activities before the stay so that they can keep it as a reference during his stay. Audrina also has a very helpful drop off checklist covering all the stuff my dog would need for his stay. Would be looking for Audrina’s help for a future stay as well!”
