I am recently retired and have plenty of free time to spend time with your babies. Let me help. I am recently retired, and while I work occasional gigs as they come up, I am very flexible. About: I grew up with a dog for 18 years, watching him go from playful pup to wise old boy. I've experienced every stage of a dog's life firsthand — young, middle-aged, and senior — so I'm comfortable and caring no matter your dog's age I am able to walk dogs and do drop-in visits. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, so I can adjust to you and your pet's needs! I Since I offer dog walking, most of my care happens out in the neighborhood. I always keep dogs secure on leash, stay attentive, and make sure every walk is safe and enjoyable.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of dogs my whole life. 1 of my families dogs currently has had a history of being reactive with other dogs. This has trained me to be very alert and careful while walking him. I’ve learned many tactics in that regard. I also just love dogs and would be so happy to take care of your dog like it’s my own. I take only online classes and then have work for a few hours in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I would be able to make your pet care my priority. I’m very respectful of other people’s space and always make sure to leave someone’s home spotless. I treat your animals like my own, playing, spending time, and caring for them as much as I can. I also am pretty active so I enjoyed taking my own dogs on their daily walks, and would definitely making sure your dogs get one if applicable.

I am active and enjoy hiking and adventuring. I live in a cabin tucked into the woods a short walk from the river. About: I’ve been so lucky to have been raised with dogs my whole life, ever since I was young we’ve had two dogs at all times. I love to walk, play and nap with them. Friends, family and family friends have asked me to look after their pets. I love nature and getting to the outdoors and love taking doggy’s with me, and I also love to laze around like a house cat. I love all sorts of animals, dogs, cats, horses, chickens and pigs. I hope to own a farm one day with all sorts of animals running around enjoying their best life. I am currently openly available, I am looking for part-time work, but mostly want to spend time with the pup’s and take them on walks. Animals take care of us if we take care of them. So I love taking my dogs for walks and playing games with them, giving them belly scratches and more. and if they want to snooze I am all good with that too.

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”
