About: I enjoyed house-sitting for various friends and family through college. I grew up owning a dog, and my ASD-focused high school had a weekly dog class requirement that, in addition to simple training classes, used dogs as a metaphor for understanding nonverbal communication. Because of that, I can easily intuit how animals are feeling in a given moment. I always approach cats and dogs with a calm persona, trying to meet them on their level. Happy to be either a cuddle buddy or a meal ticket! I was recently laid off from my 9-5, and I’ve decided to switch my gears for a while. I’m available almost full-time. However, I am a freelance musician with an infrequent and unpredictable performance schedule. I’ll always strive to keep my availability as up-to-date as possible to avoid any potential surprises. As I stated previously, I’m always working to make any animal feel safe around me, and that they can trust me. When I first meet a cat or dog, I always kneel to meet them at their level. At home, I live simply. I’m not ashamed to call myself a homebody. I do practice frequently, but I can take measures to greatly reduce my volume or simply avoid practice during an extended stay, pending any future gigs. I live in a condo right on the estuary, with a walking path that leads right to Jack London Sq. There are other dog owners in the building. It’s a good community, and right by Estuary Park. I may not have a backyard, but it’s a darn good compromise.

About: I‘ve rescued, fostered and placed animals from different species in homes since 11 years ago. It all started with my soul dog who made me get into dog training and ethology. More animals came into my life and continued to taught me how to properly take care for disabled and senior animals who had terminal cancer, seizures, and mobility issues. As well as different species of animals that urgently needed veterinary care and new homes like bearded dragons, turtles, rats, chickens, cows and fish. I‘m surrounded by a community of animal rescuers who have taught me a lot on how to help more animals and educate the public about their needs and challenges. It‘s very important for pet parents to leave their animals at the hands of people who understand that these pets are family members and each of them is unique and deserves to be given the best care and life possible. I‘m currently available most days of the week, and trying to get consistent pups that I can take on adventures with others at least twice a week. I‘m also available for boarding and house sitting. I train tuesdays-fridays at night for an hour. I like to do multiple walks and exercise at selected parks around berkeley and oakland. I live in a 1b-1ba apartment with a big cemented balcony in an apartment building. All my windows and balcony door have a screen. My door goes to a carpeted hallway with other apartments so there‘s no possibility of escaping accidents. I also have a 360 camera at my apartment which I use for monitoring.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life within my family but I’ve also taken my own path on raising puppies from the liter of my own dogs in my parents home having babies. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve taken in two dogs from the streets and have been raising them since one month old. I work for myself so any time I’d need to accommodate for your pups needs I can do that ! I just want to be of convenience for the dog parents because I know how hard it can be managing your life with your fur baby. I have crates if preferred to be used but I also have my own babies that I can bring over to spend time with your fur baby so they don’t feel alone or left out. Typically, when pet-sitting for friends, I will feed, walk, or change out litter boxes as often as needed. If I am not staying at the owner's home full-time, I will make sure the animal gets sufficient interaction and love daily. If an animal is staying in my home during the day, I have a fenced-in, locked yard (though I generally wouldn't have an animal outside without me) and there is also a dog-friendly park less than two blocks from my home.
