Being in your home I would follow the instructions you give me, whether that’s feeding or walking times. I work from home, and enjoy having pets around. I ensure the pet is feeling safe and tended to, and show care for them (as they may wonder who the stranger is). I am clean and organized, and take care of your home in the way I would care for my own home. I’m also a good communicator and will send you photos of us!

I first met Mai through mutual friends some years ago when we needed someone to care for our property in Australia for a month. As the property is in a rural area we needed someone self sufficient and capable to have time on their own. Mai's responsibilities included ensuring there was water available for our native animals (several bowls in different places) and doing a daily fence check that the cattle had not escaped. Plus looking after our beloved puppy, Jack who needs lots of attention and cuddles along with supervision when outside. We came back to our home with everything in good order and all the animals happily as they normally are. The house was clean and tidy and all bedding and towels cleaned. The car filled up (we had loaned Mai one of our cars given it is such a rural property) and cleaned. it was such a relief to have our home so well taken care of. Sharing cups of tea with Mai before we left and after getting home, with her friendly and caring nature I felt as if we made a new friend and have stayed in touch since. I can happily recommend Mai for anyone thinking of a pet sitter of an extended time.

Schedule
I work part time remotely, so I can schedule my time around pet sits and taking care of animals. I can work with weekdays as well as weekends, mornings or evenings.
