“Josie is an absolute angel! Not only did Josie take great care of Bowie, but also went above and beyond by picking him up from the previous sitter that gave her the wrong pickup instructions, persevered to find and pick up Bowie, and took him to the vet to make sure Bowie is okay due to our worries with the previous sitter, all with amazing communication and accommodating last minute requests. We later found out that Josie‘s perseverance and undeterred help might have saved Bowie‘s life. She even nursed Bowie back to health by encouraging him to eat and giving lots of love. Josie was also super respectful and tidy with our apartment while sitting Bowie at our place. She even stayed with Bowie for 8 hours every day to make sure that Bowie gets enough play, attention, and love. She even made a great effort to clean the little accident Bowie had when he wasn’t feeling well. She sent plenty of updates with Bowie and took great care of our dog. We are eternally grateful to Josie and would recommend her to everyone.”

For dogs, I can provide house sitting and drop ins, but no boarding. I work from home, so I’m home all day most of the day. My workload is light enough that I can be present for pets under my care throughout the day. I like to chat with pet parents to learn about their personality and behaviors. I can provide feedings, changing water and litter boxes, playing with and entertaining, and giving lots of rubs and cuddles to your fur baby when they’re under my care.

“Samantha was incredible. Miura had an ear infection that required a trip to the vet while I was gone for a week, and Samantha was extremely communicative and helpful through the whole process. She took Miura to the vet, picked her up, and did all the ear drops necessary. Miura can be an anxious pup so I was worried about having someone else take her to the vet, but everything went super smoothly with Samantha taking her. I highly recommend Samantha as a sitter!”

“Dennis did a wonderful job watching my 13 month old Collie puppy. My dog is large and somewhat high energy and needs many miles of walks and Dennis did a wonderful job making sure that he got all of the mental and physical stimulation he needed. I got lots of picture updates, and felt very relaxed while leaving my dog while I was on vacation. Dennis also took great care of my home and was super responsive whenever I had questions. We did one meeting before I booked Dennis for the weekend, and then I booked him for one dog walk session before the Dog Sitting time because he was going to arrive after I had left. He was super open to everything and he reviewed my dog care instructions before I left. I felt like we had really clear really good communication. I’ve used several Rover pet sitters and Dennis is by far the best one that I’ve booked. I cannot recommend him enough! (unless you want him on the same weekend that I do and then I would still recommend him but I call dibs!)”
