About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently a master’s student at UC Berkeley. Most days of the week, I end classes at 1pm, so I will be available after that, Sundays and Saturdays the whole day! I have a large apartment for your pup to play in! I also have an outside space for your pup to play in with supervision. Your pet will be my priority during our time together, and rest assured that they will be treated with the utmost respect, love, and kindness!

About: I adore dogs. I can’t have my own so I cherish every moment! I’ve done a good amount of dog sitting/ walking both small and large dogs. We have a great time, I love playing with them, taking them out as many times a day as they like, and having sleepovers to keep them company. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I am often able to make lots of different times/days work. Weekends are totally fine for me as well. In my house I only have space for a small dog. I have two cats. I am able to take them on as many walks as they need a day, play with them, cuddle them, make sure they’re comfy and having a good time. At a clients house it is similar except any size dog or cat is good for me!

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Ruthy did a fantastic job with Nova! She was extremely communicative all day. She was right on time to pick her up and drop her off and sent so many cute photos and videos of their day together. I have had poor experiences with leaving Nova in someone else's care in the past, so I was a little apprehensive, but Ruthy's updates put me so at ease. I know my little girl was in great, caring hands. I can't recommend her enough!
Hong was AMAZING with my dog! I could not have asked for a better daycare experience. Hong sent updates all day long, so I always knew exactly what my dog was up to — plus she took amazing photos! She followed my dog’s schedule closely and made sure she was playing and active throughout the day. My dog can be nervous around men, but Hong’s husband was so patient and loving with her — he took the time to get to know her, and by the end of the day she was curled up cuddling with him. Honestly, I think my dog would rather live with them at this point! They communicated through a translator app and were incredibly responsive and easy to coordinate with. Can’t recommend Hong enough. We’ll absolutely be booking again.
Thomas watched our dog while we attended a party, and he was fantastic. He was accommodating, patient, and, most importantly, my dog really liked him. He kept me updated by sharing photos, which gave me peace of mind throughout the evening. I would absolutely book with Thomas again the next time we are in town, if he's available. Kristen did an amazing job with Chummy who is naturally fearful of new people! She was patient and over the course of the day Chummy slowly warmed up to her. I was also worried Chummy might have accidents in the house due to anxiety and being in a new environment. However, Kristen naturally took her out every 2 hours which gave her plenty of potty breaks to avoid any incidents. I also appreciated the updates and pictures Kristen sent throughout the course of the day
Chen Z. was amazing with my dog. He’s very easy to communicate with, very accommodating to different schedules, takes lots of beautiful pictures and videos, and sends frequent updates. Most importantly my dog was always so excited to see him. Would 100% recommend and book again.
I felt a little unsure of dropping my dog off to someone I didn't know but started to feel more comfortable the more I spoke with Hye. Then Rudy, my pup, and I met Hye in person and we both were put very much at ease. Hye and Rudy hit it off immediately and I was fine leaving him with her. Hye updated us with photos and really "loved" Rudy and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our evening. I would totally recommend Hye and her husband for the care of their family member.
Alejandra was amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand that lasted about an hour, and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Poe is a total Velcro dog, so I was honestly really anxious about leaving him while I traveled for work. Knowing he would be with someone who works from home and had a rooftop dog park gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond with updates and photos throughout the day, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about making sure Poe was happy and comfortable. Every time I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to leave Poe with Alejandra again!
