We are cat-friendly and highly experienced with large breeds (up to 80lbs). About: I have had the pleasure of growing up with dogs ranging from small to large! Dogs have become such a big part of my life and now I am thankful to have a dog of my own, Theo❤️ I have looked after pets of friends and family for many years and I enjoy doing it every time! I am able to administer any type(s) of medications, brushing of hair or teeth, mental stimulation, long walks, dog parks, you name it! I work full time remote therefore my schedule is very flexible. I am able to take your pup out as many as 3x or more! I want every furry friend to feel as comfortable as possible. Amber helped me by watching my two little doggies for back to back 12 hour days! My sitter at my departure city fell through and I had to bring my doggies to the SF area, but had nonstop events where I couldn’t have the dogs. She was a life saver! She was super communicative and nice. A great experience.
I am so happy to have found Gretchen! She is a lovely person who obviously loves dogs and cats (I have both) and has clear extensive experience in caring for them. My dog Sidney typically spends a day each week in her care when I work far from home. I have peace of mind when my baby is with Gretchen; she takes her on multiple lovely walks each day to beautiful places like the Emeryville Marina and has a comfy inviting space where Sidney obviously feels very at home. I highly recommend Gretchen to care for your fur babies!

I was visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch my dog. I met Cindy and her husband and they were so friendly and accommodating. I ended up leaving my dog bowie with them for several hours. He was in a great mood when I returned and I knew he had a good time. He played with 2 other dogs and went on a long walk. I will definitely book with Cindy when I am in town again. I know I wont have to worry about bowie. They did a great job!
Mariola did a great job caring for my almost one year old puppy. I booked three days in a row while my husband was out of town and Pepper was eager to go each day. Mariola had helpful tips about managing youthful enthusiasm without shaming her for still working on self control.
VJ and Matthew are the best. I feel so safe leaving my dog Willa with them, I always trust that she’s in good hands. They take such good care of her; as an example, when she’s finicky with food they’ll hand feed her (without me ever having suggested it). They’re great communicators and always send the cutest pictures of Willa cuddling with them and the dogs. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
