“It’s clear that Lee has such love for pups! My dog Buffy can be shy around other pups at first, but Lee’s positivity helped my pup settle in with ease. I’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future. Thank you, Lee!”

“Joe 🐾 was well taken care of with Danielle! He had doggy daycare at Danielle's and it was great to see photos of Joe out on walkies and having a good time.”

“Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!”

“Athena is great! Rockee is always excited to see her in the morning, and I appreciate her flexibility with my work schedule and open communication. She’s also been helping with Rockee’s reactivity and I’ve noticed a calmer demeanor when he’s around other dogs. Thank you Athena!”

“Lilly has looked over my energetic puppy Juice before & when I was in last minute need for a sitter she was quick to step in a look after him. Lilly sent plenty of updates and most importantly Juice enjoys his time with her. Thank you once again!”

“Michelle is great with dogs. You can see the rapport and experience she has with dogs right away. We started with a meet and greet, where Michelle listened to our expectations and asked questions of us, and we made a booking for a day visit. On drop off, she took our pup R on a quick walk to get her away from us (later, she told us that that's better than having a specific goodbye), and R trotted after her happily. We got some photos and reports during the day, and at pickup time, R was glad to see us, but also went back to Michelle for some petting before we left. We are planning to leave R with Michelle for boarding during our summer holiday.”

“Tara took good care of our pet Mimi. She carried Mimi up and down the stairs to avoid any difficulties. Mimi was happy and energetic when she got home.”

“Noni was so great and Tahoe enjoyed his stay! He came back with a new toy & we were so happy to get so many updates. She was patient and understanding as he is a shelter dog finding his rhythm in the world.”

“Chankarn and Jake were very accommodating and understanding. We did a trial sit with Jake. I could see immediately how he cared for dogs and Mochi warmed up to him right away. I'm always anxious leaving my baby somewhere new, and Jake must have known. Just a minute after walking away, he sent me pics of my pup, and assured me that she had stopped barking. On departure, after 3 hours, Mochi acknowledged Jake so I know she warmed up to him. Thank you for a great trial run!”

“Badger had a great time with Michelle”

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

About: I have always been a natural when it comes to animals and have been caring for them since I was very young. I have one fur-baby of my own, and will always treat your fur-baby as if they were mine. I am very respectful of both humans and animals when it comes to care. I am experienced in giving medication, grooming, and enforcing training (ie. no pulling on the leash, no jumping, dog reactivity, ect.) I am very experienced in powerful, reactive dogs - so if your pup requires that extra care and attention on walks, have no fear, as I am always in control when it comes to walking your dog. I work remote for my job which allows me great flexibility with my schedule. I am available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, and boarding. I live in an apartment with my 5 year old dog Nena. She is active, very friendly, and enjoys to play. If I ever leave the apartment for any reason, my dog, and your dog will be separated in separate rooms until I return for added safety.

“Charlene was very professional and adeptly supported my last minute needs for day care. My dog was only adopted a couple of weeks ago, Charlene was sensitive about bringing her in and introducing her to the other dogs one by one. She sent many photos and videos with update messages so I could remain relaxed at work. My dog was happy!”

About: I love little dogs! I enjoy connecting with them and getting to know their quirky little personalities. I grew up with a toy poodle and helped with my neighbors' dogs for years - walking them, hanging out with them during the day, and even keeping them for a night or a week. For the past 4 years I've also had a sweet mini aussiedoodle, Murphy. If you're a first time Rover user, get $20 off your booking with me! Use this code: PARKERD42569 I work part-time and mostly from home, and have a lot of flexibility right now. I can do one-time gigs and would love to build ongoing relationships! - BOARDING includes roughly 24 hours of doggy care and I am flexible about start and end time. If you need longer than 24 hours, an extended care fee will apply. If you need less, ask me about negotiating price. - DAY CARE can be 8-5, or 4-10, or any stretch between 8am and 11pm. - DROP INs and WALKS can be anytime between 9am and 9pm. Please let me know if your dog has separation anxiety or can be left alone briefly if I needed to run out (for example, the laundry is on the ground floor of my building). I give doggos a lot of personalized attention and try to anticipate their needs. I'm good at reading the vibe and knowing if a dog needs more or less of something. I am very safety conscious and will follow whatever guidance you offer, and communicate with you as much as you like!

Let me know what works best for you! I will walk your dog and treat your dog as if it were mine! Please share you and your dog’s needs and safety concerns and we can put together a plan. :)

“Aman was excellent with Deuce. He came back happy, excited, and ready to play. He sent me a pic of Deuce while in his care, and gave me updates during his time there. I’d definitely book with Aman again. He was pleasant, polite, and kept me updated. Great vibes all around.”

About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.

“Nice!”

“Schatze loves Alexandra!!!! Between the walks on the lake, the pet friend she gets to play with, and all the love, my dog gets more and more excited each time i drop her off.”

Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra TLC, I tailor my approach to meet their needs. You can count on me for reliable, responsive, and compassionate care every time. “Parker is phenomenal. I have a very sensitive dog and she always treated him with great care and attention. My dog loved being with her. Parker was really good at paying attention to his needs and meeting them. She also respected Kevin’s dietary needs and followed our diet plan. Parker is a gem and I highly recommend her.”

17. Gregory R.
“I relied on Greg to provide a safe and affectionate environment for almost two years before I moved to Southern California. My pup, Frankie, came from the shelter with a fear of men which made finding a pet sitter a challenge. I once asked my male neighbor to walk my dog as a favor, and he was afraid that my nutty little Spaniel was going to bite him! In contrast, Frankie never ever feared Greg, and that gave me peace of mind when I dropped him off. Greg was also cognizant of Frankie's sensitivities and took care to not expose him to fearful situations unnecessarily. Frankie loved going to Greg's -- even saying Greg's name around the house elicited ear perking and head tilting. Greg's dog, Theo, is a big lovebug and played well with Frankie, too. Greg is a dog lover of all sizes and will care for your fur baby like family. I never had to worry that my fur baby was going to miss his meals, his medication, or come home dirty or traumatized. If you are looking for a reliable and caring dog caregiver, I highly recommend Greg without any reservations.”

20. Hank S.
“Hank is one of the most caring and responsible pet sitters I’ve met. He’s gentle, attentive, and always puts the pet’s needs first. My dog warmed up to him instantly, and I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in great hands. Hank goes above and beyond—whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication, or just spending quality time with your furry friend. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver.”
