I wfh in my spacious home in the Frick neighborhood of Oakland. I have a 10month old medium sized dog called Mayka who is very friendly and playful with other animals. There's a large completely enclosed backyard with tons of space for dogs to run around and explore. Close to Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park and other large trails to take dogs out on long walks! I work from home at the moment so I will always be able to supervise your pet and I'm available seven days a week and can do boarding overnight I have a large fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. They'll have free roam of the entire house and will get supervised access to the backyard. I have a large dog crate and can easily crate your dog if needed

I also love taking pets on great outdoor adventures and capturing amazing photos along the way. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, stimulated, and loved, and you get peace of mind (plus some pretty incredible pictures). I have a full time job, but have a flexible schedule. I can do mostly 30min visits or longer on weekends. But am willing to coordinate on as needed basis. I can do mainly drop in visits as I have 2 cats and a turtle currently at my place. So home stay will not work.
About: I care for pets like my own. I go above and beyond and make sure they are clean and happy. I love taking the dogs I care for on long walks and I also enjoy playing with them, and giving them attention through a good 'ole fashioned belly rub. I am happily retired and love animals. My husband and I were pet owners to a beautiful spunky, honey-colored Pomeranian, named Daisy. Sadly she passed away in 2021 after 13 beautiful years together. I haven't replaced her since. I dog/pet sit for my friends' dogs on occasion. Pet sitting helps fill the void of my Daisy and I would like to do it more for those that may need it. My friends and family entrust me with their pets because they know I will care for them as my own. When I dog sit, I give them attention, play with them, and take them on walks. If I'm not taking them for a walk around the neighborhood or the local park, I have a backyard for them to handle their immediate business. I have a fenced backyard, a spacious living room and a large bonus room that is connected to our living room that allows dogs space to roam around. And if requested, I can also administer medications or have your dog sleep in their crate, if needed.
About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. I have a fenced yard, Herita is spayed and loves to play with other dogs. Her bff is a 3 y/o Doberman. Which I take care of a couple of times a week (take her out on walks and feed her)

Lily was amazing with our dog Poppy! She kept us updated throughout the day with tons of photos, which we really appreciated. She also took Poppy on a long 2.5 hour hike and Poppy came home happily exhausted. It was clear Poppy had a great time and was very well cared for. We’d absolutely book with Lily again!
Sydney is caring and a dog and cat mom herself. She can keep your pet totally separate from her animals in her studio garage that has been converted to a pet suite for multiple day stays. There's a loveseat and plenty of floor space. She has a small rear patio area for sniffing and potty breaks. She is happy to take short or long walks with your dog and can do hills. Stella feels safe with Sydney and that means the world to me as I am at work all day.
As a first time Rover user, we hit the jackpot with Juliana and Katherine. It was our pup’s first experience at daycare (he thought it was a play date); and he had so much fun and adventure. He was so excited to go the next day that he pulled me up the stairs to their house. He had two sweet pups to play with and a fun yard to explore. Juliana was very attentive and shared pictures; I didn’t have any worries. Highly recommend!

Baxter had a great day with Kim and her human and dog crew. :) She sent pics with fun commentary several times (much appreciated -- especially on the first day!. Baxter was wiped out in the evening after a day of play. Kim is clearly a pro at dog care. She was very engaged in our meet and greet and asked lots of good questions. She's very pleasant to chat with and communicates proactively. Looking forward to Baxter's next stay!
