Doggy Day Care Sequoyah

“I don’t know where to start! Shuvashna and her husband are amazing caretakers for Dolce! Dolce immediately took a liking to a Shuvashna and her husband. Did I mention that I get daily pics and videos (and they are amazing!) to follow her growth and progress while I’m at work? We’ve all found ourselves asking one another “Did she grow more?” That’s how attentive they are. The pup comes home tired and ready to turn in for the night from all day play, which helps sooooo much. Their backyard might as well be a dog park because it most certainly accommodates the hot laps these little 4 legged children are capable of. If I could rate them more than 5 stars, I most certainly would. When I pick up Dolce in the afternoon/evening, Shuvashna and her husband will give me updates and anything new that Dolce does. The plus side to it all, is that Dolce gets to socialize with all different pups! She had a really bad first meet and greet with one of our other family dogs (my sweet girl was bit on the ear ?). I thought all hope was lost. Ever since going into care with Shuvashna, Dolce has found the courage and the heart to socialize to give it another chance and make more furry friends ?. She’s even taken to loving Shuvashna and her husband. I can’t thank them enough for the love they give Dolce. Im so happy I- we found them! They’ve definitely earned mine and Dolce’s trust. Looking forward to taking Dolce for more fun filled happy days! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“This was the first time I brought Charcoal with Rosa, she is kind and at the end of each day it was seen that Charcoal had been comfortable. Rosa answered messages quickly and sent photos of our dog. Of course I would take Charcoal with her again. She also speaks Spanish which was a plus.”

About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. I love teaching all sorts of behaviors, but especially love training good manners and leash walking skills. I offer regular dog walking for enrichment and exercise as well as training walks that work on walking and public behaviors. For pet sitting: I have owned large and small dogs, cats, insects, rats, fish, and other birds. I have owned a diabetic dog who requires insulin twice a day and a cat who received pills every day for her thyroid. I have experience giving medicine both orally and via shot using positive reinforcement. I’m am currently taking classes learning to be a dog trainer, I am looking for walking clients to get more experience with all types of dogs. I have an amazing friendly dog who is a Guide Dogs for the Blind career change. He is a working service dog, so he may come to sits or on walks if it’s appropriate.
