“My chihuahua and sisters German shepherd/black lab mix loved having Angelique stay with them during our weekend away. Angelique was so kind to do a visit ahead of time, was very communicative, and organized her schedule around our dogs. My dog loves to cuddle and definitely got all of the love from Angelique. We’d love to have her back to stay at our place with cooper in the future.”

“Jessikah is an incredible pet sitter! She spent a long weekend house- and pet-sitting for me, from a Thursday evening through Sunday evening, staying overnights. She kept my house very clean, watered my front garden, and - most importantly - was super attentive to both of my pets. My cat is not particularly fond of new people, and Jessikah really put on the effort to put Angrboda at ease and try to get her to play, despite being hissed at. My dog is easier, but Jessikah went the extra mile cuddling with him loads and walking him (he pulls; walks are optional) during her stay. I got incredible photos of both pets every day. When I got home from my trip, my pets were not stressed and anxious that I'd been away, which is extremely important to me. I cannot recommend Jessikah enough, and I am so happy to have found another pet sitter I can rely on and call back for future travel.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I currently have three dogs and one cat who I love like family. I’ve also cared for several of my aunt’s pets over the years, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I care deeply about animals and their wellbeing, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’d be happy to give your pets the same level of care and attention! As a senior in high school, I keep a consistent routine that makes it easy to fit in pet care. I’m home before the late afternoon most days, which gives me plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. On weekends, my schedule is very open, so I am able to spend even more time with pets and be flexible for longer visits or multiple walks. Since I already care for my own pets daily, adding additional pet care fits naturally into my regular routine. If needed, I can adjust my schedule to make sure every pet gets reliable attention and care. When I care for pets in my home, I focus on creating a comfortable environment. I make sure they have all their necessities like water, food, and plenty of play and attention. Since I have three dogs and a cat, I’m used to managing different personalities and making sure everyone gets the type of interaction they need. In a clients home, I’ll ensure to follow their routines closely so the pets feels secure and consistent. I’ll make sure to follow any rules and schedules, and especially make sure to bond with the pet so they feel relaxed while their owner is away!
“Laura’s first time dog sitting for us went smoothly. This was an overnight trip. She sent us photo updates and was responsive when we texted to check in. When we got home, the house was tidy, their water bowls were filled, and Cannoli and Da Vinci were in good spirits. We’ve booked Laura for an extended stay while we’re on an international trip. Thanks, Laura!”

“Dane was amazing and I’m so relieved to have found such a great sitter on our first go at Rover. He’s extremely communicative and took amazing care of both our cat and dog. We received frequent updates and photos and knew both our babies were in good hands. Our dog was extremely well exercised, and Dane went above and beyond to still check in and greet our cat (while giving her space) who doesn’t do well with people. Dane also went above and beyond to leave our house neater than when he first arrived! Would highly recommend Dane, and I’m so glad to know we have a reliable, trusted sitter for future vacations!”

“Salina was very punctual and communicative. She stayed at our house and took care of our senior dog and outdoor cats for 2 days and we felt totally comfortable with her making sure everyone was well taken care of!”

About: Thank you for considering me to take care of your baby! 🐕Growing up taking care of 7 large dogs taught me how to multitask the needs of multiple pets. 🦎I have also had the opportunity to sit for a bearded dragon and understand their needs with heating, UV lighting, feeding and supplements, bathing and femoral pore maintenance, enrichment, etc. 💬 Communication is very important to me! Please give me as much info as you can about your pet's needs, and I will do my best to check in as much as possible including facilitating video call. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I am fully available this month to take care of your fur babies! Feel free to reach out to me with questions at any time. I try to create a safe environment for myself and pets by ensuring I have all necessary medical information and am familiar with diet and exercise needs.
About: I totally love cats and dogs and enjoy looking after them. I currently have an empty nest after losing my cat to old age, who was with me from 6 months old to 19 years old. I've lived with and taken care of cats most of my life. I've cared for family, friends' and clients' dogs and cats including kittens, elderly, and disabled cats. In addition to tending to their basic needs like keeping water fresh, feeding as instructed and keeping their area clean, I enjoy brushing and playing with them and taking dogs for walks. I'm a substitute elementary school teacher and semi-retired small tree garden arborist. I take pride in taking good care of trees, kids and pets and find joy in making what could potentially be the worst days for them turn into a positive experience. I usually host with only one family at a time to provide a stress free environment. If your pet could benefit from or tolerate coboarding, I offer a $4 per night discount to the person who books first or the option to just board solo. My boarding room is dedicated just for your pets, and they get full access to the rest of my pet friendly one story two bedroom house, as their behavior permits. East facing corner windows let in morning light and are shaded in the afternoon. An elevated pet bed overlooks a garden with small trees that wrap around the windows. Cushioned lounging areas are in nooks and others out in the open. Sheets and bedding cushions get washed regularly. Area rugs cover the floor for comfort and soft landings. Two litter boxes are in the closet, one enclosed and one standard, which get scooped twice a day. There is a scratching post, toys and a tunnel.

“Daria was fantastic with our two old hounds. They need some extra TLC and she did so well. We came home to happy hounds and a spotless house. She was super communicative and very easy to work with. Thanks Daria!”

“Christina is a fantastic dog-sitter. She came to my place, we visited & she got to know Roxy--a husky rescue. Roxy normally does not warm up to strangers, as she has had trauma in her life, but she liked Christina. Christina was kind & empathetic & I knew that she loves animals! I would love to have Christina pet-sit again someday at my home in the central coast of Calif.”
“Mary was a great fit for our dog and cat, Poppy and Lola! She stayed in the home with them while we were out of town and sent us photos daily (so we would miss them a little less!). Mary has a calm and centered demeanor and quickly gained our trust. We will definitely call on her again!”

“Alyssa is great! Jumped right in and was up to the challenge of caring for our puppy (house training, teething, mega energy, etc!)… She was super communicative, providing updates throughout our time away, and left our house spotless. We’re excited to work with Alyssa again, and highly recommend her for excellent, thorough care of your beloved pet(s)!”

“Tiana was great with our dogs and it was such a relief to know they were in capable and loving hands. We have an anxious pittie, and Tiana was wonderful with him. We would definitely book her again!”

“Madeline was amazing and took really great care of our pups and kitty, providing regular updates and pictures. We had such peace of mind while we were away and we owe it all to her. She is the best and we look forward to working with her in the future!”
“Stephanie was fantastic! We can’t recommend her enough. She was really great with our older pup and ornery cat. And- did an awesome job taking care of our house. She followed every instruction exactly as we requested and left the house super clean! We hope she’ll be available for our future travels ☺️ thank you, Stephanie!!”

“Hamed was amazing with our 10 month puppy Vava. We came back home to a happy dog. This was the first time we left her alone and she definitely was in great spirits once we came back. He sent us daily pictures of her activities. We will definitely go back to Hamed in future for dog sitting needs.”

Caballo Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin was a delight to work with—she handled dog/housesitting (2 senior rescues, one rambunctious Aussie shepherd) during an atmospheric river with grace and aplomb. Communicative, punctual, and left the house in great shape. Would not hesitate to have her return.

My pup Lulu came down with a stomach issue the day before we left for our trip. Rebecca worked with me to come up with a plan for her care and monitoring, adjusting her diet as Lulu recovered and sending me regular updates on Lulu's progress. Being 3000 miles away, it was such a relief to know that Lulu was in good hands and that Rebecca was prepared for the worst case scenarios. Thanks to Rebecca, I came home to a happy and healthy pup!

Devon was a great dog sitter! She did a wonderful job following all of Bailey’s care instructions and had her snuggling with him within a couple of hours of arriving! She was great at giving me updates about how things were going while I was gone, including photos, and I felt totally at ease the whole week I was gone. She took great care of my place and everything was neat and tidy when I came back and I will absolutely be working with Devon again! You should too!

Faith is extremely communicative and knowledgable! We greatly appreciated her diligence with our dogs meds and schedules. She sent regular updates and pictures, kept our place clean, and the dogs loved snuggling with her. I felt completely confident leaving ours dogs in her care!

Nina was a lifesaver and agreed to watch Butterscotch last minute after another sitter cancelled. She asked great questions during the meet and greet, and was very communicative. My cat is very shy, but she seemed to really like Nina! Nina sent me lots of photos and videos of her cuddling and playing. I asked Nina to do a key exchange with another sitter, and Nina handled that extra snafu with ease. Very grateful for her!

Mary is the best! She took great care of our little sweetheart, Birdie, who is not the easiest creature to care for as well caring for our house. Mary extended us kindness, consideration, cleanliness and lots of communication. Great pictures too! And Birdie got all of that plus cuddles! We all lucked out - thank you, Mary!!!
Jessikah is an all-star. She tries really hard with my antisocial cat, spends loads of time with my extremely social dog, and even made an effort to (successfully!) protect the pumpkin patch on my front porch from nibbling critters! I'm so happy I found her to watch my home and my pets when I travel.

Juliana did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs. They got lots of walks and when she sent pictures, which she did a lot, they were smiling and looking so happy. She was also willing to stay at our house. She's a great communicator. She let us know how things were going during each day. I highly recommend her.

Nia came through and saved the day! I couldn't have picked a better sitter for my boys. On top of being super responsive and accepting a relatively last minute booking, she also was very personable and kind. I was so thankful that despite not feeling 100%, she still watched my dogs. I think I can speak for Zeke and Smush in saying we are all happy to only book with Nia moving forward. She’s the best!

Alyssa has helped us twice now with our senior French Bulldog. Our dog needs 2 medications daily and has some special dietary needs and Alyssa has handled it all with great care and professionalism. But the best review is from our sweet pup who was excited to see Alyssa again when she returned. That was truly the vote that mattered. We travel a lot and finding care for our dog is our highest priority. Alyssa has been a wonderful find.
