“Nicole was an amazing dog sitter, and I would use her again in a heartbeat. My dachshund is an older guy, and he is both deaf and struggling with dementia, which means that he requires a lot of care and help. Nicole was incredibly accommodating with regard to his needs - organizing her household to make it safe for him, watching him closely when he was around other dogs, etc. Nicole is also very gracious. For example, I found out upon returning from a two week trip that my dog had been waking her up really early. Rather than complaining about that - which would have been totally justified! - she figured out a way to deal with his early morning needs. Communication was wonderful, I received updates and pictures multiple times a day, and when I picked my pooch up, he seemed happy and well adjusted. Thank you so much Nicole!!”

I have had the pleasure of growing up with dogs, and my passion for them has only deepened over the years. I can’t imagine life without at least one dog by my side. Caring for dogs, whether my own or others', is something I cherish deeply. My dedication and genuine admiration for dogs are why many people trust me to dogsit for them. Your pet(s) will be in good hands, as I prioritize their happiness and safety. I believe their feelings are just as important as ours. Over the years, I have learned to read dogs' body language, which enables me to better understand their needs and desires despite the communication barrier. As a stay at home mom, I spend a significant amount of time at home, ensuring that your dog will rarely be left alone for extended periods. However, this doesn’t mean your dog will never be left alone. If your dog can’t be left unattended for at least three hours at a time, we’re not the best fit. I have a fenced yard they can run around in and also live a one minute walk from a dog trail. I can assure your dog will be safe as I like to treat them as my own.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I have a 8 year old Miniature Pinscher, Norman, who has taught me a lot about patience, routines, and making dogs feel safe and comfortable in their own way. (I don’t have him with me full time) I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual routine, whether that means long walks, playtime, plenty of cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated while you’re away. I am home in the morning and evenings on the weekdays. I am free to take your pets out on walks every couple hours or as needed. I prioritize safety and trust by maintaining a clean, secure environment for pets. I ensure their routines are followed, provide plenty of playtime and affection, and always keep a close eye on them to prevent any accidents. Your pets will feel comfortable and cared for in my home or yours. I have a fenced in yard as well

“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

My hands-on experience includes two and a half years caring for my rescued Chihuahua mix and two cats. I also volunteered socializing cats at a shelter when I was younger and, more recently, volunteered regularly at a farm animal sanctuary from April through October. There, I helped with feeding, fresh water, cleaning, preparing barns, and evening routines. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and house sits around your pet’s routine. For new clients, I prefer at least three days’ notice so we have time to arrange a meet-and-greet and make sure we’re a good fit before confirming a booking. During house sits, I stay overnight but may leave during the day for other pet-care bookings, errands, and personal commitments. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s usual schedule, potty-break needs, and how long they can comfortably be left alone, so you know what to expect. I take a careful, detail-oriented approach to caring for both your pets and your home. At our meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about feeding instructions, walking routines, behavior, triggers, household rules, and emergency contacts. I welcome detailed care notes and will follow the plan we agree on. On walks, I’ll stay aware of our surroundings, keep your dog leashed, and avoid unfamiliar dogs or greetings unless we’ve specifically discussed them. I pay attention to body language and give pets space when they show discomfort rather than pushing them into an interaction. In your home, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, and escape risks, keep feeding and litter areas tidy, and respect your instructions about access to rooms and outdoor spaces. For cats, I’ll offer attention without forcing handling or disturbing them when they need space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes about how your pet is doing and communicate promptly if I notice a change in their behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. My aim is to maintain the familiar care they’re used to while giving them patience and support during your time away.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
