“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

I have had dogs my whole adult life, and have owned and worked with very big and/or reactive dogs, so know how to handle them. I also volunteer with a rescue, helping in their kennels and with their foster program. I work from home so my schedule is always very flexible and I am never gone for long. I have a large fenced yard with lots to sniff. During the hot months with have a doggie pool to chill out, and we always spend the cool evenings snuggled up inside the house. What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. And let me know of any problem behaviors so I can best understand your dog's needs and how to approach it.
About: Hello All, my name is Jaylen. I am a college graduate who enjoys exercise, spending time outdoors & animals. I’ve owned multiple pets over the course of my life & have dog sitting/walking experience. I’m fun, energetic, patient and outgoing, which is how I’ve always been since I was a child. I hope this introduction serves as a warm welcome to anyone who reads this. Thank you! I currently work for myself, so I’ll have a lot of time to stop by and attend to your pups! I’m free mostly after 5 throughout the week, but sometimes also before. I have a nice house with a lot of land and a fenced yard. It is very accommodating for pets, good neighborhood and very nice routes to walk.
About: I have always been around animals. I have taken care of friends dogs in the past and have 5 of my own between 9-15 yrs old with varying needs. I am a full time employee at a doggy daycare. My availability will include M-TH after 3:30 pm, all day Fri and Sun, and Sat after 3pm. Your pets will be treated as if they were my own babies. I will follow every instruction as best as possible and put your pets healthy and safety first.

Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

She took in both my dog and my friend’s last minute for a few days, and we felt at ease leaving them with her. She made it easy when someone else needed to do the pickup and made sure everything we brought, was returned. About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.
