“Kennia was absolutely wonderful – she was communicative and professional, and our dog obviously had an amazing time hanging out with other pups and exploring the huge parks nearby! Highly recommended. Thank you, Kennia!”

“Our girls had a great time with Chad and his family. We will definitely be reaching out again in the future. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our babies!”

“Roger loved staying with Kelly! He came home so happy, well-fed, and clean!! Kelly has a true love for animals and it shows. She provided us with updates, photos, and videos and they were a treat! Highly recommend :)”

“Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I had a few specific instructions for my pup’s stay, and not only were they followed perfectly—they even offered helpful suggestions and kept me updated with pictures and videos the whole time. The level of care and attention my dog received was outstanding, and I could tell he felt right at home the moment we arrived. There’s a warm, calming energy in this home that you can feel immediately and clearly, my pup felt it too. I’m beyond grateful and will definitely be booking again whenever I’m out of town. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to see you all again soon!”

“We were looking for a new sitter because our usual sitter was unavailable for an upcoming trip. At the meet and greet with Robin, we were worried when Shamu barked every time she got up and walked around. It always takes time for our cautious dog to warm up to new people. Robin suggested that Shamu stay with her to make certain that they would get along. Wow, we were surprised by the glowing reports and Robin told us that Shamu was a gentleman! Robin and Daniel's loving ways won over our little dog. We are looking forward to using them again.”

“Erika was so wonderful with Oliver! It was so nice to get pictures while we were on vacation! He had a blast and has so much fun with her! We will definitely book with Erika again! We thank you!”

“Megan is the absolute best petsitter! Pippa stayed at her house for a week, and I could tell she was in great hands the whole time. Megan, as usual, kept me updated with cute photos and little check-ins, which really put me at ease. Pippa came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for one more time. Will definitely be booking with Megan again and again!”

“Meera was great to work with, very responsive and flexible and sent lots of photos. Took Luna for nice long hikes and was thoughtful enough to ask about allergies before giving any new treats. Would book again!”

“Emerson is a great sitter. Excellent communication from setting up an initial meet and greet and throughout the stay. He was always very professional in the booking process as well as asking questions about my dog’s routine for his overnight stay. Emerson’s place is extremely dog-friendly and setup to have more than one dog as he has his own very sweet dog. Our dogs got along which was testing during the meet and greet but he had options if they didn’t. My dog enjoyed the long walk and loving care of Emerson’s home. He sent updates and lots of photos. Will definitely book again!”

“Nikolai and his wife have a lot of experience watching after all breeds and sizes of dogs. My pup stayed with them along a large group of other pups over the holidays and we had an overall good experience with them. I was happy to know that our pup had plenty of friends to be with during his long stay.”

“Bomber had a great time with Latricia and her dog! Would definitely recommend her to watch your pet. We loved getting pictures of our little guy everyday and it was great that he had someone to play with!”

About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

“Kim and Jeff took great care of my dog! They are true dog lovers and sent updates throughout the stay. Communication is a breeze and I love that my dog gets to socialize with other pups. Highly recommended!”

“Danielle and Joel were great with our pup, Izzi. They took plenty of pictures, made sure he exercised daily and gave him plenty of love and cuddles. We would definitely recommend them and would book them again.”

“I received a lot of communication, videos and pictures from Jonathan. It was clear that our Minnie was being taken good care of and having a good time. This made us feel so happy that we can go out of town and leave her in good hands!”

“Kelsy is literally the best! Theodore had such an amazing time and with all the photos and videos I could tell that he felt super comfortable! For a dog mom going on her first trip away from her pup it was awesome knowing that he was in such great hands?”

“Zen took care of my special needs cat, our house and our garden while we were traveling for three weeks. It was such a comfort to know she was there and to get regular updates from her as well. I recommend Zenzele without hesitation!”

“At the meet and greet Tina gently introduced herself to Chilli, listened closely as we toured our home, took notes asked questions. She followed the written instructions we left for her and confirmed additional instructions we texted after we left for our trip. She texted us pictures of Chilli with updates. She also went beyond her responsibilities and checked for ants that had invaded our home before we left for our trip. She exceeded our expectations and we’ll definitely schedule her again soon!”

“Andrew was super attentive, always showed up right on time, and took great care of our babies! He followed all directions for our pets' dietary needs and left us with great updates and photos. Will use again!”

“Jisselle took wonderful care of my cat! He loved her and jumped right into her arms when he met her. She was punctual, communicated well and often, and she followed the specialized instructions. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Treesa loves pups of all sizes! Meet my pets: Just the dogs! About my yard We have a fenced backyard. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me at home, join me on walks, and get to spend the day with me! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!

About: I have two cats of my own and extensive experience fostering young kittens, including litter box training and helping them adjust to new routines. I also volunteer with cats at Oakland Animal Services every weekend, so I’m comfortable caring for cats with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs.

My cat is very shy, but she seemed to really like Nina! Nina sent me lots of photos and videos of her cuddling and playing. I asked Nina to do a key exchange with another sitter, and Nina handled that extra snafu with ease. Very grateful for her!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover! I had a chocolate Lab for years, he was my best buddy and taught me so much about caring for dogs at every stage, from puppy zoomies to senior naps. I know how important it is to find someone you can really trust with your pet. I’m patient, reliable, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pup loves playtime, or just hanging out and getting belly rubs, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! I work from home, so I’m around most of the day and have plenty of time to give pets attention and play breaks. My flexible schedule makes it easy to stick to your dog’s routine midday potty breaks, or evening snuggles. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, stretch their legs, and enjoy some fresh air. Your pet will never feel rushed or lonely here, they’ll get lots of love and care throughout the day! Why You’ll Love Having Me as Your Pet Sitter 🐾 Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who had the joy of raising a chocolate lab from playful puppy days all the way to his sweet senior years, so I know firsthand how much love, patience, and care our furry friends need at every stage. I work from home, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, snuggles, and potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a large fenced-in yard perfect for safe playtime, fetch, and sunbathing naps! Whether you need boarding, feeding, or quick potty breaks, I’ve got you covered. I treat every pet like family because that’s exactly what they are. ✨ Note: All visiting dogs must be house-trained. Can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend!
“Chad took excellent care of my young and energetic greyhound with a lot of separation anxiety. When I picked her up she was happy and excited, but she didn’t show any signs of distress. Prior to my dog’s stay at his home Chad had invited us over for a meet&greet and he took a lot of time to inquire about my dog’s character and behaviors, which made me very confident that things would be alright. Chad was also willing to accommodated my travel schedule. I am happy with the experience and hope he will be available next time I have to go out of town.”

“Kai and I enjoyed Chawntea so much that we rebooked. As a first time furbaby mom it’s hard to just leave my baby with anyone. I am so glad to have found her.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 10. I’m comfortable with everything from medication and special instructions to long walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also love taking pets on great outdoor adventures and capturing amazing photos along the way. If you enjoy seeing your dog happy, active, and photographed like a model at golden hour, you’re in the right place. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, stimulated, and loved, and you get peace of mind (plus some pretty incredible pictures). I have a full time job, but have a flexible schedule. I can do mostly 30min visits or longer on weekends. But am willing to coordinate on as needed basis. I can do mainly drop in visits as I have 2 cats and a turtle currently at my place. So home stay will not work.
“Lily is a wonderful sitter that loves my dog as if she were her own! I would definitely reach out to Lily if I need care for Nyxie again. You will not regret asking her to care for your beloved pup ❤️ Thanks so much Lily!”

“Briana came through for us in a pinch, responding promptly to our daycare request and providing top-notch care for our pup. We felt completely at ease leaving her with Briana, especially knowing that she also had a furry friend in Banks. Briana's regular updates, with videos and pictures, kept us connected and reassured throughout Maple's stay. The extra gesture of taking Maple on a lengthy walk, keeping her occupied with toys and treats, speaks volumes about Briana's dedication and kindness. Maple returned home happy and thoroughly worn out—a thank you Briana!”

“Dakota had a wonderful time with Kennia. She was very kind and communicative. In all of the pictures she sent Dakota looked like he was having a blast! 😊 Looking forward to more stays!”

“Emerson and his family were great sitters for Bernie. Communication was strong, he even sent pictures and a video to let me know how things were going. We meet the day before so that they would be familiar to my dog. It was a good match from the very beginning. We will definitely use them again.”

“Our recently adopted puppy had his first doggy daycare stay with Beatryx. Beatryx made sure that we felt comfortable that our puppy would be introduced to other pups in a measured and controlled way, and that Beatryx would give us updates about our pup's day. Sure enough we got plenty of picture updates, our pup made friends, and was happy as a clam when we picked him up.”

“Megan accepted a drop in visit in advance of two upcoming overnight stays to help acclimate Bailey to being in a new environment. Megan is loving and caring towards Bailey and really made her feel comfortable while in her care. It’s nice to find someone you trust to care for your dog when needed, and Megan is that person for us.”

“I felt so much at peace leaving Casanova at doggy day care, especially with Lilian's photo updates. He came home tired and happy, a great sign he had a fun time!”

About: I care for pets like my own. I go above and beyond and make sure they are clean and happy. I love taking the dogs I care for on long walks and I also enjoy playing with them, and giving them attention through a good 'ole fashioned belly rub. I am happily retired and love animals. My husband and I were pet owners to a beautiful spunky, honey-colored Pomeranian, named Daisy. Sadly she passed away in 2021 after 13 beautiful years together. I haven't replaced her since. I dog/pet sit for my friends' dogs on occasion. Pet sitting helps fill the void of my Daisy and I would like to do it more for those that may need it. My friends and family entrust me with their pets because they know I will care for them as my own. When I dog sit, I give them attention, play with them, and take them on walks. If I'm not taking them for a walk around the neighborhood or the local park, I have a backyard for them to handle their immediate business. I have a fenced backyard, a spacious living room and a large bonus room that is connected to our living room that allows dogs space to roam around. And if requested, I can also administer medications or have your dog sleep in their crate, if needed.
“Meera took great care of my mini poodle puppy. She took him for a walk and paid special attention to his needs as a puppy who is too rambunctious at times. Meera was great to interact with because she is kind and thoughtful. I recommend her highly!”
“Asha has been amazing with my pup, Rahi. She communicates super well and genuinely loves dogs. I get pictures and videos through the day and I’m so much at peace leaving my Rahi with her. Highly, highly recommend!!”

About: Hello All, my name is Jaylen. I am a college graduate who enjoys exercise, spending time outdoors & animals. I’ve owned multiple pets over the course of my life & have dog sitting/walking experience. I’m fun, energetic, patient and outgoing, which is how I’ve always been since I was a child. I hope this introduction serves as a warm welcome to anyone who reads this. Thank you! I currently work for myself, so I’ll have a lot of time to stop by and attend to your pups! I’m free mostly after 5 throughout the week, but sometimes also before. I have a nice house with a lot of land and a fenced yard. It is very accommodating for pets, good neighborhood and very nice routes to walk.
About: I have been taking care of my family’s and friends dog/pets for years now due to my love of animals, I made sure they are well fed and taken care of no matter what. Nothing makes me sadder than a suffering animal, so I make sure they are taken care of no matter what! I can usually do it after my classes during the week days but I tend not to want to do weekends since I need the free time to make sure I have everything in my personal life taken care of. I make sure my own dog gets her daily walk in the morning before feeding her then once I get home I take her for a walk again before making dinner for her and myself. And of course playing with her outside in my backyard and letting her lay with me if fireworks goes off since she is deathly afraid of them.

“Vanessa has been providing excellent weekly walks for my dog. She has a strong understanding of dog behavior and her love for animals is apparent. She also gives detailed updates after each walk that help put my mind at ease while I’m away.”

About: I have always been around animals. I have taken care of friends dogs in the past and have 5 of my own between 9-15 yrs old with varying needs. I am a full time employee at a doggy daycare. My availability will include M-TH after 3:30 pm, all day Fri and Sun, and Sat after 3pm. Your pets will be treated as if they were my own babies. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with a dachshund and 3 shar pei’s! A few years ago I rescued a pit pull and back in 2021 I adopted a Shiba. I work as an overnight oncology nurse and I only work 3 nights a week which leaves me with plenty of free time. I also live with another animal lover who is excited to help if I ever need an extra hand. I currently live in a pet friendly apartment that has its own dog park. You can expect someone who is always down to snuggle your dog when needed!
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I currently have three dogs and one cat who I love like family. I’ve also cared for several of my aunt’s pets over the years, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I care deeply about animals and their wellbeing, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’d be happy to give your pets the same level of care and attention! As a senior in high school, I keep a consistent routine that makes it easy to fit in pet care. I’m home before the late afternoon most days, which gives me plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. On weekends, my schedule is very open, so I am able to spend even more time with pets and be flexible for longer visits or multiple walks. Since I already care for my own pets daily, adding additional pet care fits naturally into my regular routine. If needed, I can adjust my schedule to make sure every pet gets reliable attention and care. When I care for pets in my home, I focus on creating a comfortable environment. I make sure they have all their necessities like water, food, and plenty of play and attention. Since I have three dogs and a cat, I’m used to managing different personalities and making sure everyone gets the type of interaction they need. In a clients home, I’ll ensure to follow their routines closely so the pets feels secure and consistent. I’ll make sure to follow any rules and schedules, and especially make sure to bond with the pet so they feel relaxed while their owner is away!
About: Gentle (or jumpy!) giants are my specialty. I’ve spent the last 15 years sharing my life with Bullmastiffs, Dogues de Bordeaux and Cane Corsos from puppyhood to passing. Medium dogs are great but the big boys and girls are my heart. All ages welcome. My home is 100% set up for dog life. I’m retired from my full-time career but still work very part-time as a CrossFit coach, and also workout daily. Mornings I’m at the gym but home between classes and all afternoon. I have time for potty in the morning and awesome walks in the afternoon. Of course, cuddle and play time included! I have a fully fenced back yard, a dog run for their business, and a big dog bed in my living room. I have plenty of sanitized toys. Basically my home is set up to share with dogs. Unfortunately, my last baby crossed the rainbow bridge last September so I’m taking this opportunity to care for yours.
About: Have peace of mind when you leave your family in my care. I am a lifelong animal lover & pet owner. I am a responsible adult with great credit and integrity. I work remotely and I have a lot of freedom within my schedule, but my passion is working with animals. You can trust that I will communicate and treat your pets as my own, meeting their needs. I have a long and trusted history helping my family & friends with their pet care needs. From simple walks, short/long term care, training help and check ins. Being a pet owner myself, I understand the stress that comes with finding trusted care for our furry friends. I prefer to care for your family in your home to avoid any undue stress being in a new environment. Trust in me...& be happy. I work remotely. I am a Quality Assurance Specialist. Working from home allows near constant supervision. I go on 3 walks a day with my dog. I can work in your home as long as you have a good wifi connection. I prefer to watch in my client's home to avoid any extra stress and keep your pet comfortable while you are away. I can make some exceptions. When I watch in my home, I do have a fenced in yard and easy access for dogs with a dog door. I am great with communication and instructions. As a quality specialist I pay a lot of attention to detail and caring for your pets will be no different.

Experience with large animals, geriatric and young animals. If you are traveling and need a reliable, fun, experienced sitter for your pets, I’d be happy to do a meet and greet and meet you and your pets. “We can’t recommend Megan and Jenny enough. We booked an extended stay for our pup and they provided us with regular pictures and updates. Our dog came back happy and healthy, and we won’t hesitate to rebook in the future!”

“Ulunma was a dream come true! My dog was happy to temporarily become part of her family. Ulunma was very responsive to communication from me and regularly sent me pictures of my dog. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing that my dog was in great hands. I will surely use her again!”

“What a wonderful experience for our dog Shadow! Bibo’s dog is awesome and got along with our dog really well. Took a minute to adjust and then they were off like siblings! Bibo was communicative and on it. Would definitely book again, and again.”

“Hy and Arlo were great sitters for our pup during a long vacation. It was his first time staying for a long period of time somewhere unfamiliar and Hy put us right at ease. Right off the bat, they seemed very comfortable with our pup and very confident around dogs generally, and pup took right to exploring their spacious home with a nice, fenced in backyard. Our dog is dog-reactive and they had ideas for best routes to walk him in their neighborhood. During our trip, they were able to use their intuitiveness to troubleshoot some barking at night. When we picked him up, we could tell he took a real liking to Hy while we were gone. Thanks Hy and Arlo for taking such good care of our guy while!”

“Mary did an awesome job watching our Great Dane while we were out of the country for 10 days. She was also very flexible in allowing us to set up a couple of brief visits in advance to help our dog get comfortable before we left town. I would definitely recommend Mary and request her services again!”

“Iko had a great stay. He was very happy with both the human and canine company, and we got lots of photo updates! Highly recommend, and we definitely plan to book again soon.”

“Wow, I hit the Rover jackpot with Amanda!! I recently had to board my four month old puppy, Clooney, for the first time, and I was terrified. Amanda made that fear go away instantly. She clearly loves dogs and knows how to take care of them. She was in constant communication - sending regular photo and video updates, and she created such a loving/fun environment for my little baby, I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. She has regular pup visitors and lots of friends who also love dogs, so Clooney was showered with attention and play time. Amanda went above and beyond and we will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Kristen and Ryan were incredibly warm and accommodating when first meeting my small and nervous doggie. They showed their home and clearly demonstrated a level of care and experience that gave me a lot of comfort and would definitely rebook. They were also attentive of how our dogs interacted and made sure they experienced little to no distress. Highly recommend their services 🩷”

“Brenda took great care of Drake! She kept me updated with regular photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also made sure Drake was comfortable, especially with all the fireworks going on. I truly appreciated her care and attention, and I'll definitely be booking with her again!”
