“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

“There aren’t enough words to express just how attentive and amazing Quishu is: Positive, dynamic personality with an ability to get zen when needed. She’s the kind of personality our beagles need. She followed all our doggie care and home instructions, it was such peace of mind. She sent frequent photos and videos which showed us that our adopted and often timid beagles trusted her, felt safe with her and were actually being their true goof ball selves. Most sitters think they’ll try to “fix” their issues which never works and creates a tense dynamic, but Qishu didn’t appear to judge us for all our instructions and expectations. She respected our requested level of care and the beagles and her bonded. Thank you Qishu!!”

We could tell they had been well taken care of and well-loved (and cuddled!) upon our return. The house/ guest space was kept very tidy. It would be an honor to have Daria watch our babies and home again in the future.”

About: My preferred first name is Bear. I have 5+ years experience volunteering in rescue shelters with both dogs and cats and I’ve definitely developed a knack for befriending anxious/shy animals. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog bather working with dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience leash training dogs and training a few basic commands. I’ve done a lot of cat sitting as well (in homes with up to 11 indoor cats!). I’m currently in school pursuing a nursing degree. My summer class schedule allows me to go for walks and check ins during mornings and early afternoons. I have done a lot of pet sitting in the pet’s homes. I understand the importance of respecting my clients’ property and I always leave the property in the same condition as when I arrived, if not better. If you are a gamer, I will never mess with your save files (many past clients seem to have this concern lol).

About: I had a dog for 15 years and a cat for 2 years, giving me experience with pets at all stages of life. They are very special and I have a deep passion for caretaking, one that extends to your pets! I can also administer medications if needed. I am a student at UCSF on summer break. I have availability most days—weekdays and weekends, just need a few days notice! I am also a night owl so I can watch your pets well into the evenings! I have a fenced backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. I love going on long walks around here solo, and a pet companion would make that even better! For cats, I can also take them on walks (if they’re those types of cats haha) or can just stay inside and play with toys.
