I was previously a sales engineer with IBM. I'd love to help all the cat and dog mamas/papas out here just as I had in Boulder, CO and, before that, Chicago, IL. I grew up with dogs since the age of 8 - mixed breeds, yorkies, labs, pitbulls, shepherds, terriers, corgis, chihuahuas, frenchies.. the list goes on!! One of the moments that confirmed I’d always want to work with animals was in college, when I helped care for my roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix, Bridget. She is the sweetest girl, though she struggled with anxiety and health issues. Her teeth were worn down from chewing rocks in her past life, and she’d carry a little blanket around whenever she felt distressed. With her special diet, supplements, and medications, Bridget taught me what it meant to truly care for a soul who’d been through so much. That experience deepened my love and empathy for all animals in a way that’s stayed with me ever since.
