I have a 8 year old Miniature Pinscher, Norman, who has taught me a lot about patience, routines, and making dogs feel safe and comfortable in their own way. (I don’t have him with me full time) I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual routine, whether that means long walks, playtime, plenty of cuddles, or simply keeping them company. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, which was helpful, as I had an event to go to. They communicated with me when my dog was slow to eat and helped her along with some treats we left, and when I returned my was home neat and tidy. My dog also did not seem overly agitated when we came home, so I think she had a nice time and was comfortable even though this Adrienne's first time meeting my dog and pet sitting for me. About: Hi everyone, I work in mental/behavioral health and am saving up for graduate school! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. I moved to California from the Netherlands a few years ago. I am looking for new pet sitting clients in the East Bay or San Francisco. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I also live right by Lake Merritt so if you live nearby, I’d love to take your dog on walks around the lake. A full loop around the lake takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (a little over 3 miles). I can pick up and drop off your dog at your house. I have several years experience in cat sitting as well as several years dog sitting and dog walking (middle-aged Labrador, middle-aged German Shepard mix, and puppy Border Collie). I work swing shift (roughly from 3-11pm) on Sunday-Thursday. So, I’m available for drop-in visits or walks during the morning/early afternoon. On Fridays and Saturdays, I might have availability but sometimes I have plans. Please just reach out to check if I’m available on those days! I can’t have pets at my apartment but at clients’ homes, we can play with toys, or we can walk around the neighborhood or to a nearby park. I like to know a little bit about them before I care for them so that I can try to make them feel comfortable being around me.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
