About: I love dogs so much and I know that may sound generic but dogs are so pure and lovable. My love of dogs started with a dog sitting gig that sparked this love and lead me to be a pup parent to Colonel Peanut who passed in 2020. He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area. I have experience with basic training, administering meds, and observing your pup to see what they are telling me they need. I work from home and can be somewhat of a house cat myself if I'm not out for walks with pepperonis. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet's needs. I can accommodate last minute booking so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I know what it’s like to be a pet parent so I will treat your pet and home as my own. I will make sure to check all the boxes like refilling water, feedings, sharing snacks and giving medications, or cleaning/refreshing the litter box for kitties.

I've done a bunch of pet and house sitting on another platform, as well as for family, friends and acquaintances, besides having my own pets or sharing them with past partners. I used to practice massage therapy and reiki. I bring a similar intention to handling pets that I brought to responding to clients needs. “Rover review - Feb 14-15, 2026 Responsible, trustworthy, tidy, conscientious, funny, accommodating, and highly communicative, I would absolutely book Qishu again in future. Our kitties took to her right away (even our skittish one). We were only away for 1 night but Qishu sent frequent text updates throughout the day, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our time away. She takes great pics and videos, in which we could tell our girls were being very well taken care of and appreciated, and not missing us in the least. In less than 24 hours Qishu managed to play with our high-energy 8-month old to the point of getting her tired enough to pant (as requested), and to gain the trust of our skittish 1-year old, enough to be petted until she was purring and rolling around on the floor, showing belly. This was not requested nor expected; even our closest friends (who our cats have known since they were kittens) haven’t been able to get that close to her! Qishu went the extra mile without our asking, and the results were incredible. When we got home, Cricket and Jiji were happy and relaxed, as if we had never left at all. The house was clean and in order. We have some more travel dates later this year and are crossing our fingers that we will be able to have Qishu look after our girls again. 🤞🏼 Thanks Qishu! About: I grew up with dogs and believe in building a relationship with each animal I meet. I have experience navigating walks with strong, reactive and aggressive dogs. I am very physically active and if needed, can push your four legged friend to keep them happy and in shape! Leisurely walks are also lovely. I believe our pets need to be treated with the upmost care and respect, its a two way relationship and I really value the ways I learn and grow with each animal I meet. I do not have any pets of my own right now so I really cherish any animal time I get. I can accommodate your scheduling needs as I work part time for a nonprofit and have flexibility in my schedule. I prefer to schedule further in advance for repeat walks, but am able to do last minute arrangements as well! I am responsive and in tune to the needs of your pet whether that be frequent time outside, variation in play or rest time and making sure they are comfortable at bedtime. I know that animals respond to energy and vice versa so I keep a calm energy around animals. It's really important to me to learn as much about your pet from you so I can be prepared to care for them.
