“Presley and Freya loved having Melissa take care of them! I arrived home from my trip yesterday with two pretty relaxed kitties, and a slew of new photos to add to my collection 😁 She was a great communicator, and left everything just as she found it.”

“Vania was awesome!!! I needed someone last minute and she came through. She was great with my two pitbulls and treated them like queens. She was always on time and very communicative with pictures. I strongly recommend and will be using her in the future.”

“Elyse took care of my two kittens for just under two weeks and did an amazing job. She was super reliable and communicative. The kittens seemed healthy, happy and relaxed when I got home, so it was obvious they were in good hands. Would definitely request for her help again in the future.”

“Anais was awesome with our pups! My gals are old but still peppy, strong, and sometimes over exuberant. She took great care with both but especially Cookie who recently had surgery. I look forward to booking another visit with her again!”

“Melina is great with all of our pets! She kept us updated and sent photos of all four pets for each drop in. My dog loves her and even the shyest cat comes out to see her during her visits.”

I’ve always been the go-to among family and friends for animal care because it is a responsibility I do not take lightly. About: Hi, my name is Taylor! I’ve had more pets than I can count throughout my life: dogs, turtles, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, frogs, and fish! I absolutely love caring for animals and will treat your pets like my own. I love spending days walking around Lake Merritt and I live very close to a park that I take my own dog to so your pups will definitely be well exercised here! I live in a beautiful apartment complex that is pet friendly and also live on the first floor so that makes emergency potty breaks super easy breezy. Please let me know if you have any questions about what I am able to do for you and your puppy, looking forward to hearing from you! I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’ll make sure they are comfy, and have all of their needs met like a nice & full belly! Long walks are never a problem here I’m very flexible and find it very easy to adjust to different pet care instructions. I can provide all the stimulation your pup needs and will always send pics.
About: I grew up with dogs and currently have my own dog. He’s a four year-old mini golden doodle named Riley. We are active and frequently go on hikes, to the park, and to the beach on the weekends. I also have a backyard where the dogs can play. If your dog needs more than just neighborhood walks, I’ve got you covered! I’m experienced in caring for puppies and managing them so that they don’t get into trouble. I also have a lot of experience administering medication since my dog is on several meds for some of his health issues. I can provide enrichment for your dog if needed, since my dog loves sniffing games, lick mats, and trick training. I absolutely adore dogs and will treat your dog as he/she were my own! I’m available for boarding on weekends and potentially sometimes during the week, if your dog is OK with being left alone for longer stretches of time. I have a hybrid work schedule so I go into the office three days a week and I work from home two days a week (usually Mondays and Fridays). I have a fenced-in yard for the dogs to play. If your dog needs to be crated when left alone, I have a crate that can be used. I also have a Furbo dog camera where I can keep an eye on the dogs while I’m gone. If your dog is comfortable and safe not being in a crate when left alone, I can accommodate that.
“Edward has been great with our pup Suzie and is always welcoming feedback on his services. He is a reliable and communicative dog walker and has a lot of experience with dogs 🐕”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes since I was 10 years old, and as a dog mom myself, I know that your pet isn't 'just' a pet, they’re family. I specialize in attentive walks and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. My goal is to make sure every parent feels completely happy and comfortable while they’re away or at work. Because my own dog is my baby, I treat every 'furbaby' in my care like royalty. I am also available for overnight stays in my home! I live in a cozy one-bedroom with my own private, fenced-in backyard, which is perfect for safe outdoor playtime. To ensure a calm and personalized environment for my own dog and yours, I specialize in hosting small-to-medium sized breeds. Whether it's a walk, a visit, or a sleepover, I prioritize keeping you in the loop with frequent updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I treat every pet with the same love and devotion I give my own! I am fully available for dedicated care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I also have flexible availability on Saturdays for walks, visits, or boarding. Because I work a set schedule on other days, your pet gets my undivided attention during my mid-week "on-duty" days. I am committed to maintaining your pet's routine and making sure they feel loved and active while you are busy. I provide a calm, boutique environment in my cozy in-law unit, which is located in a pet-friendly building and features my own private, fenced-in backyard for safe potty breaks and outdoor play. Your pet’s safety is my absolute priority; for overnight guests, I use a secure playpen setup when I am briefly away to ensure everyone has their own comfortable, supervised space. My resident dog is a small French Bulldog who is very timid and antisocial, he prefers to keep his distance and is never aggressive, making him a perfect, low-pressure "roommate" for pets who also enjoy their personal space. Whether we are hanging out in the yard or going for a neighborhood walk, I treat your furbaby with the same high standards of safety and love that I give my own "baby" every single day. I love making sure parents feel completely at ease, so I prioritize keeping you in the loop with frequent updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing!
About: With 10+ years of animal care experience — including 4 years as a veterinary assistant — I’m especially experienced with seniors, anxious or shy pets, and those needing medications or extra TLC. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like my own. Providing care for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle — my schedule is intentionally flexible so I can be available when your pets need me most. Whether you need help during long workdays, weekend trips, or last-minute schedule changes, I’m happy to accommodate a wide range of needs. Let me know what your pet’s routine looks like — I’ll do my best to match it, so they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Within the client's home, I do everything I can to make their pets feel safe, seen, and loved. I know how important it is to maintain their routine and environment, especially for pets who thrive on familiarity. I take time to build trust, go at their pace, and make sure they feel comfortable with me in their space. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, extended visit, or overnight stay, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s boundaries. I always follow instructions carefully, provide updates along the way, and make sure your pet is happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. For the health and safety of your pet, I kindly ask that clients provide their own grooming tools — including brushes, combs, nail clippers, styptic powder, and any other essentials your pet is familiar with. Using your pet’s personal tools helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and ensures a safe, and hygienic experience. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.
About: In 2012 my mother started a dog boarding business out of her own home. I was this businesses number #1 (and in a lot of ways only) Employee. We watched an average of 4 dogs a day not including the dogs me and my mother had that were our own and the fosters we were taking care of as well. We closed down the business in 2021 when we moved and now that I have my own place I'm looking to work with pets again (dogs and cats!). I can not board but I can still do walks and sitting. I'd love to meet and get to know your pets. I work weekends so I am not going to be available most Saturdays and Sundays before 6pm. On the flip side I am completely open on any weekday for walking or sitting. I can make any of those days work with your schedule. I won't be able to take care of your pet in my home but I can do whatever is needed of me if I were to take care of your pet in your home. Wether that's crating, specific feeding schedules or making food from provided ingredients, routines for outside and potty time. I want to make your pets experience as close as it I can do your ideal.

Bartlett pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah is reliable, flexible and so sweet. My cat is a senior cat who is very attached to me but Sarah takes great care of her and is mindful of the extra care she needs as an older cat. My cat took to her quickly as well, such a relief to travel and know she’s in great hands!
Maricruz was amazing! She took fantastic care of my two free-roam bunnies. One of my bunnies is really shy, but he immediately felt safe around her and connected with her. Maricruz sent lots of photos and great updates, which made me feel totally at ease while I was away. She kept everything so tidy and clean. I highly recommend Maricruz!

Megan was amazing! She was very attentive and kept us updated throughout each visit with lots of photos and thorough reports at the end of each visit. It was clear our cats were well cared for and comfortable with her while we were away. We’d definitely book with her again!

Diana was helpful and communicative and trustworthy with our little bunny, who was honestly pretty messy and required some extra / unexpected care because he got sick and needed medicine. Diana was very consistent with the updates and we loved having someone so local to provide for Janus.

Vania is awesome! I had a last-minute request and had never used Rover before, so was feeling pretty anxious about leaving on a trip for a few days. Vania’s professionalism and personality put me and my 9yo pit-mix at ease straight away. She took such excellent care of him that I noticed he had changed his bark from “There’s Someone At The Door” to “OMG YAY” when she came back to drop off the key ☺️
