About: I have had my own cats for about ten years and had farm cats and dogs as a child. My cat recently passed and I am not quite ready to adopt another but want to help others in the mean time! As of right now I’m boarding a sweet female cat for a friend and have been for about a month but she will be going back home in the next few weeks! I live in a studio apartment so I am able to board small to medium animals. I am off just two days otherwise I am available in afternoons after I am off work! Let me know if you have additional questions about my experience or availability! I work full time in San Francisco so I usually leave pretty early in the morning and get back home early afternoon Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday I am off but run a few errands. When I had my kitty she would usually feed wet food in the morning and leave some dry food for the day, then when I got home I would leave out some more wet food for the night. I of course have a water fountain and plenty of toys and scratchers for the day and have some play time when I get home. I have a studio apartment so not much room for a big dog but I do have a quiet neighborhood for walks and a gated backyard for play time. Cats should be no issue in the apartment with all the toys and scratchers I have!

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a little girl, i have two senior pets of my own, 15 and 12 years old! a chihuahua and a yorkie mix, and one who is up in heaven. with my senior babies i have learned when to be delicate and when they want to play, I taught my senior chihuahua how to sit and give a paw (even though he’s got a couple screws loose) its not much at all, but its a big achievement for him! with your doggies i would love to learn everything, from favorite treats to favorite routes to walk in! i will adjust my schedule to you and your pets needs! i try my best to be extremely flexible as i know that life just happens sometimes. In regards to caring for your babies, their safety and comfort is my first priority, i would like for them to be comfortable with me instead of your pets being scared, for senior dog care i understand completely the hassle of being careful and the accidents that come along (im an excellent cleaner thanks to my senior dogs) with cats and younger dogs i find i adapt quickly with new environments with the help of you and instructions, i will most likely ask a bunch of questions and it will be only in regards of your pets, everything goes the same with cats! if you would like a drop in i’d be happy to negotiate a time and place! i forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, both caring for them as my own pets and doing paid dog-sitting. I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs. I live with one other senior pup 🐶, 1 chicken 🐓, 1 turtle 🐢, and 6 goldfish 🐠. Dogs have always been a part of the family and need to be treated with care, love, and respect. Seeing dogs in public always makes me happy and want to pet them! Your dog will be pampered, well cared for and given lots of love ❤️ I also have extra doggie beds. I have a fenced backyard they can explore in. They will he walked 2-3 times a day and fed scrambled eggs and chicken liver joint treats (from amazon) if permitted ** Please note: I am only accepting dogs who are on flea medication. If not, please ask your vet to put your baby on flea treatment (Bella is on Frontline with inactive fleas) **Please make sure to bring enough supplies like environmentally friends doggy bags and anything else that will ensure comfort for their stay. Thank you for reading and hope to meet you soon! Your fur baby will he walked 2-3 times a day. Morning and evening walk and maybe midday if needed. They will be fed according to their feeding schedule. I have a fenced backyard. Even if the owner says their babe can go off leash, I never let them go off leash for safety reasons unless in a fenced area.
