About: Have you ever wanted your dog to have the comfort of a 5-Star vacation experience with the trust of an experienced pup-lover right in your community? I’ve set up my ADU to be your dog’s private BnB oasis! It’s a totally separate space (just like a BnB), therefore your pet would have no interaction with my dogs. Your dog’s climate-controlled space is equipped with everything needed to make them comfortable during their stay - beds, toys, blankets, and backyard. I work from home, so I’m able to spend plenty of time with them and do whatever is needed for them to have a comfortable home away from home❤️ A little about me: Hi! My name is Sydney and I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for cats (including medication administration) and I have also fostered over 40 dogs in my home, so I have experience with all ages and breeds ❤️ As mentioned, your pet would have their own space separate from my dogs, but I do have two small rescue pups! I have one senior 12-pound girl named Mooncake and a 17-pound boy named Toast and they are the loves of my life!! I love pet-sitting! I’m very responsible, dependable, and can be flexible to meet your dog’s specific needs. Whether it’s dog-sitting, dog walking pr cat care, I would love to meet your pet and provide exercise and a fun, loving place to stay while you’re gone! Can’t wait to meet you! :) I work from home, so I can be somewhat flexible with timing for cat care, dogstting and dog walks! I prefer walking in the evening before it gets dark but let me know your ideal timing and we can work around it. For cat care and walking, I would want to know more about your specific pet but also how to enter the home safely to ensure your pet doesn’t escape as I come in.

I live with 3 other sweet girls and we're all best friends, and whenever I get booked to watch an animal they get so exited. So if i'm taking care of an animal, we're all here to pitch in. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and fish since I was a child. I have trained reactive and high energy dogs and am comfortable walking large dogs on and off leash. I am an attentive walker and am good at constantly managing a dog’s body language and ensuring they don’t get into any trouble! In addition to more high energy dogs, I also love calm, snuggly types. I am happy to give your pup all the snuggles they need. I am excited to take your pet on long hikes or runs or to just spend time hanging out at home. I love them all! I am most available on the weekends but can house sit during the week where WiFi is available! As long as I can work from your home! I can care for your pet by taking them on walks, hikes, or dog park adventures. I can also stay with your pet at your home. I don’t bring folks’ pets into my home.

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).
