1. Madeline B.

“Madeline was fantastic with my dear old dog. The photos she sent during her time taking care of him were very thoughtful. He was very relaxed when I returned home, clear evidence that he was well cared for.”

2. Maia N.

“Our dogs can be nervous around new people and seeing how happy and relaxed they were when Maia came by for drop-in visits was such a joy! Getting photo updates and communication from Maia put our minds at ease, we are grateful to know they are in good hands with her and will be booking again.”

3. Emma H.
“Emma, is really one of the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. She is really professional and most importantly caring and loving towards our dogs. She is really in her element with animals as she is proactive about giving them plenty of attention and walks. We are so happy to consider her our primary go-to dog care taker. We’ve actually gone so far as to have her fly all the way out to our home in Hawaii… she’s that good!”

4. Anais D.

“Anaïs did an amazing job taking care of our dog while we were away! She did twice daily check ins and was very punctual and communicative. Our dog has medical needs that were met while we were away. We would definitely hire Anaïs again!”

5. Korin M.

“Korin was amazing with our dogs. They can be a little hesitant of strangers when they first come but she did an amazing job adapting to their personality and caring for them. Will book again!”

6. Lauren T.
“I've had the pleasure of having Lauren as my dog sitter multiple times, and I can't recommend her highly enough. From the moment she met my dog, it was clear how naturally she connects with animals. She's incredibly attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. Lauren goes above and beyond, sending regular updates and photos, and making sure all of my dog's needs are met, from exercise to cuddles. She treats her like her own, and that kind of trust and care is priceless. If you're looking for someone who will love and care for your dog as much as you do, Lauren is the one.”

7. Chad A.

“Chad has all the perfect traits of a dog sitter. He loves every dog, no matter its size or temperament. He is kind, patient, and responsible. I have known his own dogs over the past quarter century, and they have all been very happy, long-lived companions. I would not hesitate to leave my beloved companions on Chad's care.”

8. Zara K.

“Zara took wonderful care of our cat, Emmy, when we left town on short notice to care for a sick relative. For three weeks Zara came by our house reliably each day to scoop cat litter, refill food and water, and pet / play with Emmy, giving lots of snuggles, and she even brought in packages from our front porch. We really appreciated the care and attention Zara brought to her role, including sending us pictures and videos of Emmy daily. It was very reassuring to know that our cat (and our home) were well cared for during our absence, especially during a stressful time in our lives. We would 100% hire Zara again.”

9. Juliana & Katherine Q.
About: Our pets are family. My approach is a balance of attention and simple structure that makes for happy socialization. My partner and I have always had cats and dogs and I have experience with everything from puppyhood to the special healthcare challenges of senior pets (including administration of oral meds and injected insulin) I used to walk dogs back in college as a part-time job. Now, I am excited to make some new 4-legged friends and get out for some exercise together. I work from home part-time and with a very flexible schedule. I do long walks in the morning and afternoon and, if staying with us, in addition to walks, your doggie will have full access to the yard during the day to sunbathe and play. If house sitting at yours, I will be on hand with your pet at a minimum in the morning, for a few hours mid-day, and then all evening and night. We have a large fenced yard and two small, friendly pups (9lb young female yorkie and 12lb female coton de tulear) to play with. "The girls" are not crated at night, but I am happy to set up your pup's normal sleeping area if staying with us. For dog walking, I do 30-45 minute adventures with priority given to clients located in Oakland's Laurel, Dimond, Maxwell Park, and Redwood Heights neighborhoods. Ideally, your dog loves walking with some friends, but we can customize for personal pup needs.

10. JP C.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just giving them lots of love and attention, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Friends and family trust me to keep their pets happy, comfortable, and safe, from playful puppies to older dogs needing extra care. I’m home most of the time! Any schedule fits into my daily routine, and I’m flexible to fit to your pets’ needs. No issues with me whatsoever. Our house has a fence all around, with a lawn full of grass, for your pet to enjoy running around and playing in the sun! I also have a dog park close to our house for your pet to walk to and play in.

11. Chika A.
“Chika was a fantastic house sitter—easygoing, dependable, and really thoughtful. She took great care of our dog Bob, who clearly felt comfortable and well looked after while we were away. She was attentive to all the little instructions we left (including some of our more specific dog quirks) and kept the house clean and in great shape. We also really appreciated how flexible she was with timing and communication. It made leaving home a lot less stressful knowing everything was in such good hands. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and responsible sitter!”

12. Cristina G.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years, including professional work at dog hotels and lots of hands-on experience with my own cat and family dogs from my early childhood. At my main job, Im currently working early mornings 5 days a week. I am available after 2:00 pm Thursday-Monday and am available all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s routine to minimize stress, offering walks, play, and companionship. I ensure the home is clean and secure, and I take special care of any specific requests or needs the pet has.

13. Carolyn G.
“I can’t thank Denise enough for the exceptional care she gave my two blind, elderly Chihuahuas while housesitting for me. Leaving them is never easy, but Denise’s warmth, patience, and deep understanding of their special needs instantly put me at ease. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, and I could tell my pups were safe, calm, and truly loved. Denise went above and beyond—not just making sure their routines were followed, but giving them the gentle affection and attention they need to feel secure. I returned to a spotless home and two very happy dogs. I wholeheartedly recommend Denise to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate sitter. She's a rare gem!”

14. Karla M.
“Karla is a lovely, kindhearted, and respectful person. Karla has dogs of her own and loves them to death, I never seen anyone have such a love for being with/around animals as karla. Great person to have to walk your dogs if you really care about your pets being cared for.”

15. Susan P.

“Susan was prompt and kind. I could really tell she cares about dogs. She asked great questions, making sure she knew everything she needed to know to properly care for Lucy. Highly recommend!”

16. Nicola & Michael A.
“I can’t sing the praises of Nicola and her family enough, both as pet carers and as all around responsible and considerate people. They began vacation-feeding my cats 17 years ago, and continue to this day. I’ve also had the opportunity to see them with their own dog, who is sadly gone now; their rabbit, also sadly gone to rabbit heaven, and when they had chickens. Any animal would be lucky indeed to be cared for by Nicola and her family.”

17. Lindsey C.

“Lindsey is amazing. She’s consistent, she’s communicative, she’s flexible, and our puppy loves her! I highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again.”

18. Elizabeth M.

“Lei Lei was great and sent cute pics of her drop in visit!”

I would love to provide drop in care to your cat(s) I have flexibility with my job and work from home two days a week. I am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. I am used to taking my dogs on morning and evening walks and mid day walks, weather permitting. NOTE: my 3 dogs are currently out of state. I have a fenced in back yard and my dog friendly cats are currently out of state. My cats are dog friendly but can be separated at my house if needed.

20. Christine M.

“Christine is awesome! She took excellent care of my four cats while I was away on a business trip. She went above and beyond giving my kitties food and water - she played with them, texted me photos and videos, and checked in on the ferals in my backyard, even though had put out an automatic feeder for them. Christine even took out garbage and recycling cans out to the curb. She ensured everything was locked up when she left. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who wants their feline fur-babies lovingly care for when they have to be away!”
