We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, boarding or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet-&-greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. About: I have loved animals my whole life! My walls were always adorned with National Geographic photos of my favorite creatures and I longed to one day have my own little wolf pack! I grew up mainly with cats and have a huge adoration for the felines of the world. I once had a three legged cat named Ziggy ( Stardust) whom was my most treasured companion. I always had friends with a lot of dogs who depended on me to love and support them as my own. Currently, I have a 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever named Olive who has been my closest furry friend for years! I truly consider her a part of me. I also have been raising my Yellow Lab pup, Juniper, since she was 8 weeks old. She is now currently 4 years and 2 months old. Raising a puppy has by far been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I have had so much fun training her! I consider myself a confident two legged friend who knows how to set healthy boundaries so that a pup can become the best they can be! I am a practicing herbalist and my heart is always geared towards healing. I care deeply for the sweet animals in my life! I am currently working part time and am an online student. Generally, I am available some mornings for dog walking and some nights as well. Sitting is a possibility but may be limited to my schedule. Feel free to ask! I like to play a little fetch or tug with them out in the yard or whatever keeps your pup stimulated:) But happy to take a nice long walk when appropriate for your pooch. I am very attentive to all animals and do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved.

“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”
