I works as a math and science tutor for middle and high schoolers. So, I am a dog walker by day (until 2:30pm), and then I tutor between 1-3 hours on week nights. I live in a house with an aging Bernese mountain dog, so I have a strong preference to house sit instead of boarding. But, so super short stays I can accommodate if the dogs are friendly and medium to low energy.

When I’m with your dog I like to stimulate their mind by bringing treats and toys and have fun with some training (of course with your permission first!). I am currently a self employed dog trainer so I do know how to handle different types of dogs. My main experience is training and I frequently work with service dogs. I have experience with all kinds of temperaments so don’t be shy to let me know if your dog has an anxiety issue or is overly excited. My upmost important priority is making your dog feel as comfortable as possible when he or she is under my care. I can’t wait to meet all these beautiful faces! I am also a student and still new to the bay area. Luckily at the moment my schedule is rather flexible, I can potentially adjust my schedule for your pet on certain occasions! About: Hi! We’ve loved and cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities, and we’ll treat your pets like our own. Our most recent love was Luna, a 7-year-old Staffy-Lab pictured in our profile, who sadly passed from lymphoma after a year of chemotherapy. We’re not quite ready for a new fur baby of our own, but we miss having animal energy around and would love to care for yours. Tiff also raised a Chi-Weenie from puppyhood through her senior years, so we know just how special the bond with a dog can be. We work from home so we’re available for walks, feeding, and lots of playtime! Our schedules are flexible which means lots of love and pets available to your fur baby. We always make sure your dog is securely fitted in their harness and/or leash before leaving for walks. We also double check to make sure everything is locked up before leaving.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.
