About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I was raised in a pet friendly household growing up. I played with frogs, birds, chickens, insects, cats, and dogs during my childhood. With this upbringing, it feels natural taking care of any kind of pet. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large, high-energy dogs. Through this, I’ve learned to identify natural body language and recognize subtle signals that indicate comfort, stress, or preference, allowing me to adjust care to each dog’s individual needs. Through our own pups (Mars and Ellie), I learned to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I’ve become very attuned to the signals dogs give—whether they’re feeling playful, anxious, or just want space—so I can make sure they feel safe and happy. One of the most important detail about dog sitting is the information that the owner provides about their baby. I make sure these details are taken into consideration when looking after their pets. I am fully remote and have a slightly more flexible schedule than most people. I have my own business in Maryland and I am exploring different ventures while in SF. My wife is here full time so I am also here. I have no issues with sitting or walking at any day or time as long as the appropriate advance notice is provided. I care for others’ pets the way I would want my own to be cared for—with patience, attention, and respect. When house sitting, I ensure the home is kept clean and left in great condition. I make sure to not overstep in areas where I am not allowed and that instructions left for the pup's are followed. During walks, I stay highly attentive to each dog’s behavior and surroundings, watching for any potential risks such as approaching dogs or other hazards. I take proactive steps to keep them safe, avoid stressful situations, and always clean up after them. My priority is making sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

About: I have been a pet/ house sitter for the last 12 plus years. I have looked after animals ranging from dogs and cats of all different breeds, anges, and sizes! I am also familiar with pets who have ailments such as diabetes, and vision, and hearing loss. I have a four day work week and my work day schedule can vary. I am never away from the home for more than 8 hours at a time on my scheduled work days, however, I do live close to where I work and have the flexibility to pop over and take care of potty breaks. I always make time for walks, feedings, and attention throughout the day:) I prioritize creating trust and a safe environment for the animals I look after. Making sure that your pets receive their desired attention is important to me. Keeping to their scheduled feedings, potty breaks, and walk times is something else that I like to make a priority to help ensure they are as comfortable as possible while you’re away!

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was 5 years old. I love pets and currently have two Guinea pigs! I’ve taken care of elder dogs, puppies, dogs with health problems, usually for friends and family. No pet is a bad fit for me :) As a PhD student, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am available when most aren’t. I live a calm and quiet lifestyle with my senior corgi, Mochi, and my sweet, dog friendly cat, Mumu. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get steady attention, a peaceful environment, and care that never feels rushed. My dog Mochi is 10 and has had many health issues, including back leg mobility problems. Caring for her has given me strong experience with senior dogs, medication schedules, mobility support, slow routines, anxious pets and even stroller walks. I grew up with many pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve experienced a negligent sitter in the past whose carelessness sent my dog to the hospital. It’s important to me that I can continue providing the best care for her and Rover lets me do that while offering attentive, reliable care to other pets as well. I WFH so I’m home most of the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine I already have a senior dog with daily feeding, meds so I’m used to gentle and structured care throughout the day. I take breaks to give pets attention, walks, playtime and lots of calm company. Your pet would be part of my daily rhythm not an afterthought I maintain a calm and supervised home where safety comes first. Pets get slow introductions and secure spaces and constant oversight since I work from home. My corgi is crate-trained and my cat has high-ground access so everyone has their own safe zones. I follow your schedule exactly : feeding, walks, meds, and activities so your pet stays on their normal routine. They’ll have a safe comfortable place to play or nap all day and can sleep with me at night if they'd like to. Diet & Feeding I follow your pet’s exact feeding schedule and portion sizes to keep everything consistent. I always make sure pets stay hydrated, especially in warmer weather. I feed my dog and guest dogs separately to avoid any food guarding or stress during mealtimes. Hygiene & Cleanliness I keep pets clean and comfortable throughout the day : wiping paws if needed, cleaning eye discharge and keeping their space tidy. I’m very detailoriented about maintaining a clean safe environment. Walk Safety All dogs are leashed outdoors at all times. I stay alert around other dogs separate pets immediately if there are signs of stress or tension and prevent ground eating or unsafe sniffing areas. I’m always attentive and I clean up after them every time. Sleeping Arrangements My own dog prefers her own bed and doesn’t sleep with me but your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they feel comfortable whether that’s in their own bed, the crate or in the bed with me for extra comfort. I make sure every pet has a safe cozy sleeping setup.

About: hi! i’m supriya :) i’m a cat mom to a sassy tortie named tiger, who accompanied me all throughout my college experience! i also love & miss my sweet & shy cavapoo (who lives with my parents on the east coast). i’m experienced with all the basic caretaking for cats & dogs, including but not limited to: dog-walking, brushing, clipping nails, feeding dry & wet food, giving oral medication, litter cleaning, teasing my cat with laser toys :P & lots & lots of cuddles <3 i also cared for three different pairs of gerbils & am familiar with cage-cleaning, feeding, setting up baths, cuddling, & so on. i’m open to gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc! i’m a grad student, so my schedule is flexible based on my classes! i’ll have more availability this summer (in july & august) as well :) i will always ensure that your pet gets attention & care! i understand that if you’re traveling or out of the house, this might be the only interaction your pet is getting that day, & i will be mindful of being present with them & providing them with lots of love <3 i’m happy to take photos to send if you’re missing them! & let me know about their favorite activities :P

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently a master’s student at UC Berkeley.
