About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

On top of that, I have unique hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of species gained during my time at the San Francisco Zoo. What this means for you: Safety First: I am highly trained to recognize and respond to potential medical issues quickly. Specialized Experience: Need someone comfortable with insulin injections, sub-Q fluids, or complicated medication schedules? I’ve got it covered. All Creatures Welcome: While I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, my love doesn't stop there. I am highly comfortable and experienced in caring for your pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters) and even snakes and fish. My mission is simple: to provide reliable, compassionate, and expert care so your pets feel secure and happy while you are away. I currently work from home part-time doing administrative work for a leading veterinary company as I transition from in clinic work to pet-care full time. I'm available most of the day to assist with your pet's care. Whether in your home or my home, your pet will be cared for like they're my own. I will give each pet the chance to get to know me, as well to get to know them, so our bond will become as close as it is with you.

About: I grew up in a family that rescued and fostered over 50 animals, which instilled a deep passion for and comfortableness with animal care. In the past 10 years , I have provided short term and long term care for cats ranging in age from 8 weeks to senior. This has included giving oral medication, pills, and post-surgery care. I’m fortunate to also have a strong network of folks with pet care and veterinary expertise who are knowledgeable advisers when I need it. In all situations, I lead with compassion for the animal first :) My work schedule is flexible and largely work-from-home with no location requirement, meaning I am easily able to housesit with a pet on most days. I have my own car so can travel as needed as well. Unfortunately I am unable to provide overnight stays for a pet in my home. However, I am happy to housesit, and can also provide plant care if needed! How I care for your pet in your home is up to your preferences, but when I am able I always try to be home with the pet throughout the day providing play and attention as needed :)

About: Ciao! My name is Matt and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to meet you and some of the amazing pets we have here in the city. I currently live near the rose garden/Piedmont. I live close to several other parks, and I always enjoy meeting new pet friends that come my way. I really don't have many restrictions, but all I ask is that if you are interested in meeting to discuss my services that we have great communication (whether it's email, call/text, etc.) I work from home during the week and actively get outside myself, so I'm sure we could work something out if you need help with your pet! Comfort and exercise go hand-in-hand in my experience. Play time and treats are always possible. Companionship is a must and routine is our next best friend.

I have a 13 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix, (Sir Prince) that loves meeting new friends. So while in my care, your baby will have my constant attention, and personalized detailed care, as if he or she were my own. I also believe in providing my clients a peace of mind while away from their bundles of joy. I know how stressful it can sometimes be. You are welcome to bring a Kennel for your furbaby if they are use to using one. In my experience, they are helpful during feeding times and when personal space is needed. Sometimes they provide a bit more comfort to them when in an unfamiliar place. But for the most part, all pups have the freedom to roam as they wish. My specialty is in-house pet care, but taking the babies for walks is always possible. I provide homestyle daycare and boarding 24/7. Pups will never be left unattended. Lady K's Doggie Lounge and my clients are top priority for me. I offer a calm, free to roam environment. Kennels are only used for feedings and sleeping if needed. I can and will maintain your pets current schedule/ routine if necessary.

About: Howdy! My name's Rachel, I'm new to the area. I am a lover of all animals, but especially dogs. I grew up with a lovable and energetic Akita, so I have a big love for larger dogs. I currently live with my cat, Henri, who I found in an alley in Chicago a few years ago. I formerly worked for a local dog boarding and daycare spot. I'm a pretty active person, I like hiking and running and being outside, all activities that could be even more fun with a four legged companion. I'm happy to answer any questions you have, and am looking forward to meeting! I am very available for weekends to walk, visit, or care for pets! I work during the week but possibly could make time in the evenings At my home, I do have a cat who is friendly. I have a babygate that I set up or lock the cat in my room when dogs are visiting. I am open to making house visits also! I believe pets who are already stressed out when their person is away for extended periods should feel comfortable and be in their own place.
